Chef Vishnu Manohar creates world record with 1,111 kg finger millet pudding at Koya Krushi Kumbh

A world record was created at the ‘Koya Krushi Kumbh’ festival in Gadchiroli on Friday, aimed at promoting agricultural produce and local products on a global platform, when 1,111 kilograms of finger millet (ragi) pudding was prepared under the leadership of noted chef Vishnu Manohar.

The initiative brought national and international focus to coarse cereals grown in the district, particularly finger millet, highlighting its nutritional value and agricultural importance.
The record was officially registered with the India Book of Records, the Asia Book of Records, and the World Record Book of India. The finger millet used for the record-setting preparation was sourced from Gadchiroli farmers and produced through sustainable agricultural practices.
