Centre creates three-year PPP project pipeline worth Rs 17 lakh crore rupees as announced in Budget 2025-26

The Department of Economic Affairs (DEA) has created a three-year Public Private Partnership (PPP) project pipeline to streamline infrastructure development across the country. This initiative follows the announcement made in the Union Budget 2025-26. It seeks to boost national infrastructure through an organised framework for private sector participation. According to the Ministry of Finance, the PPP project pipeline comprises 852 projects across Central Infrastructure Ministries and States and Union Territories with a combined total project cost of over 17 lakh crore rupees. The ministry said that this pipeline provides early visibility of potential PPP projects to enable investors, developers and other stakeholders to undertake more informed planning and investment decisions.
