Centre advices States and UTs to set up Chest Clinics in view of rising air-pollution

Union Science and Technology Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh today said that four Hydrogen Valleys are being developed across the country with a total investment of 485 crore rupees to demonstrate the full hydrogen value chain. Addressing the 3rd International Conference on Green Hydrogen in New Delhi, the Minister said that India is a key part of the global transition to Self-Reliant Hydrogen Economy. Dr. Singh highlighted that that clean energy is no longer a matter of environmental choice, but is an economic, technological, and strategic imperative for the nation’s growth. He added that India’s clean energy transformation is being driven by a collaborative model bringing together government, industry, and academia to build sustainable solutions for the future.

 

The Minister further asserted that the country will not merely adopt clean technologies but will invent them, lead them, and ignite the world with its vision and grit. Dr. Singh expressed that the recently launched Development and Innovation (RDI) Scheme with a corpus of 1 lakh crore rupees will Accelerate Deep-Tech and Clean Energy Innovation.
