The Government has debunked a message circulating with a link, claiming that the Central Government is providing free laptops to students. The Fact Check Unit of the Press Information Bureau (PIB) has termed the claim fake. The PIB said there is no such advertisement or scheme being endorsed by the Government. PIB also urged the citizens to stay vigilant and advised them to rely only on official websites for any such government schemes.
