The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions said that 2035 nominations were received under Prime Minister’s Awards this year. The Ministry added that the awards aim to recognize the contribution of civil servants across the country.

 

It further said that the PM’s Awards will consist of Trophy, Scroll and an incentive of twenty lakh rupees to be utilized for implementation of projects or bridging resource gaps in any area of public welfare.

 

The awards are scheduled to be conferred by the Prime Minister on 21st April next year on the occasion of Civil Services Day in New Delhi.
