In Uttarakhand, the process of Census 2027 has begun today. Governor Lieutenant General (Retd) Gurmeet Singh inaugurated it through self-enumeration at Lok Bhawan. With this, the activities of the first phase of the census have commenced across the state.

 

The Governor has appealed to the people of the state to actively participate in this important national exercise and provide accurate and complete information through self-enumeration.

 

In the first phase, house listing and housing census will be conducted from April 25 to May 24. Before the door-to-door survey, citizens have been provided the facility of self-enumeration from today until April 24. During this period, citizens can digitally register their own and their family’s information on the se.census.gov.in portal.
