Central Bureau of Investigation has dismantled an illegal call center in Lucknow targeting US nationals and arrested a key operative in the transnational cybercrime network. CBI had registered a case in September last year and conducted extensive searches at multiple locations linked to the accused persons.

 

US Embassy in India said in a social media post that through coordinated intelligence and decisive action, agencies are working together to dismantle international networks to prevent future scams and keep citizens safe.
