Gold jumped 300 rupees, to 60,100 rupees per ten grams at Delhi's bullion market, on Wednesday(30 August 2023), amid strong global cues. Silver surged 400 rupees, to 77,500 rupees per kilo. In the global markets, gold rose to trade at 1,936 dollars per ounce.

Oil prices today rose more than half a percent. In intra-day trade, Brent crude was trading at 85 dollars per barrel. West Texas Intermediate crude price was at 80 dollars and 55 cents per barrel when reports last came in.
