Asian stocks ended mixed today. China's Shanghai Composite index added 1.18 percent, Singapore's Straits Times index rose 0.34 percent and South Korea's Kospi index ended higher by 0.04 percent. On the other hand, Japan's Nikkei slumped 1.42 percent.
