The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) yesterday reviewed the preparedness to control air pollution during the upcoming winter season.

 

 

During the 25th meeting of the full commission, the implementation of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) and statutory directions related to the control of vehicular emissions, industrial emissions, and incidents of stubble burning in the region were reviewed.

 

 

The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change stated that, during the meeting, the CAQM took note of the Supreme Court’s order permitting the sale of green firecrackers from today until Monday, and only at designated locations in Delhi-NCR.
