In Rajasthan, at least 10 people are feared dead, and over 14 others sustained critical burn injuries when a private bus caught fire near the Thaiyat area on the Jodhpur Highway this evening.

 

 

The injured were rushed to Jodhpur Medical College. The incident occurred about 20 kilometers from Jaisalmer. The district administration launched immediate relief and rescue operations.

 

 

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma expressed deep sorrow and cancelled all engagements to visit the site. He directed officials to ensure the best possible medical care for the injured.

 

 

Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari also conveyed her grief over the tragedy. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
