Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that GST has been removed from many items, while on several others, it has been reduced to 5 per cent. He said, this will ease the financial burden on citizens, especially in the education sector.

Onam celebrations in Kerala officially draw to a close this evening. The annual festival, which symbolizes unity, prosperity, and hope, continues to inspire Keralites across the world. “For Keralites, the culmination of the official Onam celebrations is not an end, but the beginning of hope, hope for next year’s festival and for greater prosperity and progress. The State Government’s official celebrations will conclude this evening with a grand cultural procession in the state capital, Thiruvananthapuram. Yesterday, Thrissur, in Central Kerala came alive with the traditional Pulikali, or tiger dance, where performers painted as tigers entertained crowds late into the night. Today, the focus shifts to Pathanamthitta, where the famous Aranmula boat race takes place. More than 50 majestic snake boats, known as Palliyodams, will compete in this traditional spectacle that forms an integral part of celebrations during Onam season. In the evening, Thiruvananthapuram will host a grand cultural feast on the streets. Over a thousand artists will take part in the rally, which will showcase the rich cross-section of Kerala’s culture with 60 floats, 90 audio-visual art forms, and a special performance by the Indian Army band. Adding more colour to the spectacle, traditional art forms from Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu will also be featured. The entire event is being conducted under the green protocol to ensure minimal pollution. Meanwhile, the festive spirit of Onam will linger in Kerala’s markets for the next couple of weeks, with offers and discounts by various trade houses continuing till mid-September. दीपावली का पर्व करीब आ रहा है और हर वर्ष की भांति इस साल भी राम की नगरी अयोध्या में भव्य दीपावली मनाए जाने की तैयारी हो रही है इस बार अयोध्या में 19 अक्टूबर को दीपोत्सव-2025 के दौरान 26 लाख से अधिक दीये जलाकर ऐतिहासिक गिनीज वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड बनाने की तैयारी की जा रही है।

 

 

“उत्तर प्रदेश में 2017 से ही दीपावली के अवसर पर अयोध्या में हर वर्ष भाव दीपोत्सव का आयोजन किया जाता है और हर साल दिए जलाने का एक नया विश्व कीर्तिमान स्थापित होता है। इस साल भी उत्तर प्रदेश पर्यटन विभाग द्वारा सरयू तट, राम की पैड़ी सहित अन्य घाटों पर दीयों की श्रृंखला से अलौकिक दृश्य प्रस्तुत किया जाएगा। उत्तर प्रदेश के पर्यटन एवं संस्कृति मंत्री जयवीर सिंह ने बताया कि अयोध्या में राम मंदिर की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के बाद दूसरे दीपोत्सव को भव्यता और दिव्यता से मनाने के लिए हर संभव प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं। राम की पैड़ी सहित अन्य घाटों पर इस बार 26 लाख से अधिक दीयों को प्रज्वलित कर नया विश्व रिकॉर्ड बनाया जाएगा। सरयू तट पर अब तक की सबसे बड़ी आरती का आयोजन भी होगा, जिसमें 1,100 से अधिक धर्माचार्य, संत-महात्मा और नगरवासी सम्मिलित होंगे। आयोजन से तीन दिन पहले से स्थल पर तैयारी शुरू होगी। गिनीज मानकों के अनुसार डिजाइन और प्रक्रिया आदि से समन्वय स्थापित किया जाएगा। पर्यटन मंत्री ने बताया कि इस दौरान छात्र-स्वयंसेवक गिनीज वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड के सफल संचालन में सहयोग करेंगे। ये स्वयंसेवक गिनीज वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड के मानकों के अनुरूप दीयों की सजावट, प्रज्वलन, गिनती और सत्यापन की जिम्मेदारी निभाएंगे। आयोजन के दौरान दीयों की संख्या को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए पूरी प्रक्रिया तकनीकी और पारदर्शी ढंग से पूरी की जाएगी, ताकि रिकॉर्ड का सफल क्रियान्वयन संभव हो सके। अयोध्या दीपोत्सव-2025 के दौरान गिनीज रिकॉर्ड प्रयासों की सफलता सुनिश्चित करने के लिए उत्तर प्रदेश पर्यटन विभाग, अयोध्या जिला प्रशासन, अवध विश्वविद्यालय और अन्य संस्थाओं के बीच लगातार समन्वय किया जाएगा। कार्यक्रम में गिनीज वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड्स के निर्णायक मंडल की उपस्थिति में प्रक्रिया, साक्ष्यों आदि का मिलान किया जाएगा। रिकॉर्ड की पुष्टि के बाद मा0 मुख्यमंत्री को पर्यटन मंत्री सहित अन्य मंत्रियों की उपस्थिति में प्रमाण-पत्र प्रदान किया जाएगा। प्रमुख सचिव पर्यटन एवं संस्कृति मुकेश कुमार मेश्राम ने बताया कि वर्ष अयोध्या में आयोजित दीपोत्सव को पिछले वर्षों की तुलना में और अधिक भव्य बनाने की तैयारियां की जा रही है। अद्भुत झांकियों और मनोरम दृश्यों के साथ विभाग का प्रयास है कि यह आयोजन न केवल देशवासियों बल्कि दुनियाभर के पर्यटकों के लिए भी एक यादगार अनुभव बने। परिक्रमा के लिए लखनऊ से सुशील चंद्र तिवारी.”

हरियाणा में 17 सितंबर से लेकर 2 अक्टूबर तक “सेवा पखवाड़ा” मनाया जाएगा, इस दौरान जनसेवा के अनेक कार्यक्रम, लाभकारी योजनाएं, स्वच्छता अभियान सहित केंद्र व प्रदेश सरकार के अन्य संकल्पों को फलीभूत किया जाएगा।

आज डॉ वर्गीस कुरियन की पुण्यतिथि है। डॉ॰ वर्गीज़ कुरियन एक प्रसिद्ध भारतीय सामाजिक उद्यमी थे और ‘फादर ऑफ़ द वाइट रिवोल्युशन’ के नाम से अपने ‘बिलियन लीटर आईडिया’ (ऑपरेशन फ्लड) – विश्व का सबसे बड़ा कृषि विकास कार्यक्रम – के लिए आज भी मशहूर हैं। डॉ॰ कुरियन को पद्म विभूषण (भारत के दूसरे सर्वोच्च नागरिक सम्मान), विश्व खाद्य पुरस्कार और सामुदायिक नेतृत्व के लिए मैग्सेसे पुरस्कार सहित कई पुरस्कारों से सम्मानित किया गया था।
