प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी 13 हजार 500 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक की कई विकासात्मक परियोजनाओं का शिलान्यास और राष्ट्र को समर्पित करने के लिए आज तेलंगाना का दौरा पर रहेंगे। श्री मोदी प्रमुख सड़क परियोजनाओं की आधारशिला रखेंगे जो नागपुर से विजयवाड़ा आर्थिक गलियारे का हिस्सा हैं। परियोजनाओं में राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग 163जी के वारंगल से खम्मम खंड तक 108 किलोमीटर लंबा ग्रीनफील्ड राजमार्ग और खम्मम से विजयवाड़ा खंड तक 90 किलोमीटर लंबा ग्रीनफील्ड राजमार्ग शामिल है। ये सड़क परियोजनाएं कुल छह हजार 400 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से विकसित की जाएंगी। प्रधानमंत्री राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग 365 बीबी के सूर्यापेट से खम्मम खंड के बीच 59 किलोमीटर लंबी सड़क भी राष्ट्र को समर्पित करेंगे। करीब दो हजार 460 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से बनी यह परियोजना हैदराबाद से विशाखापत्तनम कॉरिडोर का हिस्सा है। यह खम्मम जिले और आंध्र प्रदेश के तटीय क्षेत्रों को बेहतर कनेक्टिविटी भी प्रदान करेगा। श्री मोदी जैकलेर-कृष्णा नई रेलवे लाइन का भी लोकार्पण करेंगे। प्रधानमंत्री वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से कृष्णा स्टेशन से उद्घाटन हैदराबाद काचीगुडा – रायचूर – हैदराबाद काचीगुडा ट्रेन सेवा को भी हरी झंडी दिखाएंगे। ट्रेन सेवा तेलंगाना के हैदराबाद, रंगारेड्डी, महबूबनगर, नारायणपेट जिलों को कर्नाटक के रायचूर जिले से जोड़ेगी। श्री मोदी हसन-चेरलापल्ली एलपीजी पाइपलाइन परियोजना राष्ट्र को समर्पित करेंगे। वह कृष्णापट्टनम से हैदराबाद तक भारत पेट्रोलियम कॉर्पोरेशन लिमिटेड की बहु-उत्पाद पेट्रोलियम पाइपलाइन की आधारशिला भी रखेंगे। 425 किलोमीटर लंबी पाइपलाइन एक हजार 940 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से बनाई जाएगी। प्रधानमंत्री हैदराबाद विश्वविद्यालय की पांच नई इमारतों का भी उद्घाटन करेंगे।

Various Shramdan activities will be held across all the districts in Gujarat as part of the Ek Tareekh Ek Ghanta Ek sath initiative for cleanliness. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will participate in the shramdan at Ranip in Ahmedabad while Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will join cleanliness drive in his assembly constituency Ghatlodia in Ahmedabad.

General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, ARTRAC Lt Gen SS Mahal has extended his heartfelt felicitations to All Ranks, Civilians & Families of the command on the occasion. Chennai Metro Rail Limited will soon open a new pedestrian subway in front of Chennai Central railway station. The statement issued by CMRL stated that the delay in opening was due to the meticulous nature of the task undertaken. The subway will link Chennai Central Station with Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital. The subway strategically located opposite to the Central railway station has been constructed with escalators and lifts to facilitate seamless movement of metro rail passengers and the public.

The second desalination plant in Nemmeli is nearing completion and trial runs will begin in the 4th week of this month. According to the Managing Director of Chennai Metro water, R. Kirlosh Kumar, the plant is ready to begin its operation in October. The plant will have 1035 metre pipe to take sea water for desalination. It will serve nine lakh people living in Old Mahabalipuram Road, Velachery and some areas of Tambaram. Tamilnadu Municipal administration and water supply minister K.N.Nehru inspected the Rs. 1516 crore plant.

To sensitize visitors and passengers about the menace of plastic a Plastic Snakes and Ladders activity was started at Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna Railway Station in Bengaluru. The railway Bengaluru Division of South Western Railway, in association with World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF)India's Karnataka State Office have introduced the activity in the railway station. “Plastic Snakes and Ladders” activity will create awareness about plastic pollution. Instead of Snakes there are plastic bottles and instead of Ladders there are creepers and trees. The game gives the players useful facts about plastic pollution as well as tips on how to reduce plastic consumption. A dedicated WWF volunteer will guide visitors and explain the rules of the game. The venture aims to shed light on the critical issue of plastic pollution and Sensitize railway station visitors on the importance of reducing plastic consumption. This game of awareness in KSR Bengaluru Railway Station will continue till 02.10.2023. In the last 3 days, People of different ages including children and old people from various regions of the country have participated in this initiative of creating awareness.

स्वच्छता ही सेवा पखवाड़ा के तहत दिल्ली नगर निगम आज सुबह 10 बजे से राजधानी दिल्ली में 500 स्थानों पर विशेष सफाई अभियान का आयोजन करेगा। यह अभियान 2 अक्टूबर को महात्मा गांधी की जयंती के अवसर पर समाप्त होगा। स्थानीय पार्षद, विधायक, सांसद, रेजीडेंट वेलफेयर एसोसिएशन, मार्केट एंड ट्रेडर्स एसोसिएशन, स्कूल और कॉलेज के छात्र, सहित आम जनता स्वच्छता अभियान में भाग लेंगे। दिल्ली नगर निगम ने बताया कि प्रत्येक वार्ड के लिए नोडल अधिकारी भी नियुक्त किए गए हैं। सफाई अभियान के दौरान ठोस कूड़ा प्रबंधन, मलबा हटाने, पार्कों, भवनों और प्रतिष्ठानों की सफाई पर विशेष जोर दिया जाएगा। इस कार्यक्रम में सुबह 10 से 11 बजे तक पार्किंग स्थलों की सफाई भी की जाएगी। साथ ही बड़े पैमाने पर लोगों को स्वच्छता बनाये रखने की शपथ भी दिलाई जाएगी।

दिल्ली सरकार के महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग ने कल निर्मल छाया काम्प्लेक्स में 'पोषण माह' के समापन समारोह का आयोजन किया। इस अवसर पर दिल्ली सरकार की मंत्री आतिशी ने आंगनवाड़ी कार्यकर्ताओं से पोषण पर चर्चा कर उनका उत्साह बढ़ाया। उन्होंने कहा कि पिछले एक महीने में आंगनवाड़ी कार्यकर्ताओं ने दिल्ली के लाखों परिवारों को ख़ान-पान संबंधित अच्छी आदतों के प्रति जागरूक किया, जो कि आगे भी जारी रहेगा। उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि अच्छे स्वास्थ्य और बेहतर पोषण के लिए मोटे अनाजों जैसे ज्वार, बाजरा को खाने में अधिक से अधिक शामिल करना चाहिए। उन्होंने आंगनवाड़ी कार्यकर्ताओं का उत्साहवर्धन करते हुए कहा कि, जितना ज़रूरी पोषण है उतनी ही ज़रूरी शिक्षा भी है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह ज़रूरी है कि पांच साल से कम उम्र के बच्चों को ज़रूरी पोषण और सही देखरेख मिले।

दिल्ली में इस वर्ष जनवरी से सितंबर महीने के दौरान दैनिक औसत वायु गुणवत्ता पिछले छह वर्षों की तुलना में सबसे बेहतर दर्ज की गई है। बीते नौ महीनों के दौरान राजधानी दिल्ली में दैनिक औसत वायु गुणवत्ता सूचकांक 167 रही। जनवरी से सितंबर महीने के दौरान 2022 में दैनिक औसत वायु गुणवत्ता सूचकांक 184, 2021 में 180, 2019 में 188 और 2018 में 193 दर्ज किया की गई।

महाराष्ट्र में स्वछता ही सेवा अभियान के अंतर्गत स्वच्छ भारत मिशन की 9वीं वर्षगांठ मनाने के लिए राज्य सरकार और विभिन्न संगठनों ने कई गतिविधियां और कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए। रत्नागिरि जिले में सभी सरकारी कार्यालयों में इस अभियान के अंतर्गत सफाई की गई। धुले शहर और जिले में भी कई स्कूलों में स्वच्छता अभियान चलाया गया। मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे, उपमुख्यमंत्री देवेन्द्र फडणवीस और अजित पवार तथा कई अन्य गणमान्य व्यक्तियों ने भी इस अभियान में भाग लिया।

महाराष्ट्र के ठाणे जिले की जेलों में भीड़ कम करने के प्रयास में, विचाराधीन कैदियों की पहचान करने और रिहाई के लिए उनकी पात्रता की समीक्षा करने के लिए एक विशेष अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। जिला कानूनी सेवा प्राधिकरण – डीएलएसए द्वारा जारी एक विज्ञप्ति के अनुसार, अभियान के लिए एक अंडर-ट्रायल समीक्षा समिति – यूटीआरसी का गठन किया गया है, जो 18 सितंबर को शुरू हुआ और 20 नवंबर को समाप्त होगा। समिति, प्रिंसिपल के मार्गदर्शन में बनाई गई है जिला न्यायाधीश और डीएलएसए अध्यक्ष अभय जे मंत्री में ठाणे और पालघर जिलों के कलेक्टर, ठाणे जिले के पुलिस आयुक्त और ठाणे के पुलिस अधीक्षक सहित अन्य अधिकारी शामिल हैं।

महाराष्ट्र पर्यटन विकास निगम के नागपुर, छत्रपति संभाजीनगर और पालघर में रिसॉर्ट्स एक महीने में पूरी तरह से महिलाओं द्वारा चलाए जाएंगे। जैसा कि एमटीडीसी निदेशक श्रद्धा जोशी शर्मा ने बताया, इस पहल के लिए भर्ती चल रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि शुरुआत में तीन रिसॉर्ट इसी तरह से संचालित किये जायेंगे. सुरक्षा से लेकर रसोई तक का सारा कामकाज महिलाएं संभालेंगी। उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि इन रिसॉर्ट्स के लिए एक लिंग नीति तैयार की गई है।

⦁ हर साल 1 अक्टूबर को वृद्ध व्यक्तियों के लिए अंतर्राष्ट्रीय वृद्ध जन दिवस (International Day of Older Persons) के रूप में मनाया जाता है। बुजुर्गों की भलाई और जरूरतों के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाने और उनकी ओर लोगों का ध्यान केंद्रित करने के लिए संयुक्त राष्ट्र ने इस दिन की शुरुआत की थी। बुजुर्गों में अकेलेपन और मानसिक स्वास्थ्य के जुडे मुद्दों पर विशेष ध्यान देने की आवश्यकता है।

तीरंदाजी प्रतियोगिता में आज कई भारतीय एथलीट शामिल हो रहे हैं। आपको बता दें कि तुषार शेल्के, अतनु दास, मृणाल चौहान और धीरज बोम्मदेवरा रिकर्व पुरुष व्यक्तिगत क्वालीफिकेशन राऊंड में निशाने लगाएंगे।
इससे पहले पुरूष बैडमिंटन टीम ने सेमीफाइनल में कल कोरिया को 3-2 से हराकर पहली बार एशियाई खेलों के खिताबी मुकाबले में जगह बनाई। फाइनल में अब भारत का मुकाबला चीन से होगा।

हिन्दी फिल्मों के सुप्रसिद्ध गीतकार मजरुह सुल्तानपुरी की भी आज जयंती है। उन्होंने अपनी रचनाओं के जरिए देश, समाज और साहित्य को नयी दिशा देने का काम किया। उनकी मशहूर पंक्तियों में 'मै अकेला ही चला था, जानिबे मंजिल मगर लोग पास आते गये और कारवां बनता गया' का जिक्र भी अक्सर किया जाता है।
जन्म 1 अक्टूबर 1919 को उत्तरप्रदेश में स्थित जिला सुल्तानपुर में हुआ था। इनका असली नाम था "असरार उल हसन खान" मगर दुनिया इन्हें मजरूह सुल्तानपुरी के नाम से जानती हैं।
मजरूह सुल्तानपुरी ने पचास सालों से अधिक समय तक हिंदी फिल्मों के लिए गीत लिखे। आजादी मिलने से दो साल पहले वे एक मुशायरे में हिस्सा लेने बम्बई गए थे और तब उस समय के मशहूर फिल्म-निर्माता कारदार ने उन्हें अपनी नई फिल्म शाहजहां के लिए गीत लिखने का अवसर दिया था। उनका चुनाव एक प्रतियोगिता के द्वारा किया गया था। इस फिल्म के गीत प्रसिद्ध गायक कुंदन लाल सहगल ने गाए थे। ये गीत थे-ग़म दिए मुस्तकिल और जब दिल ही टूट गया जो आज भी बहुत लोकप्रिय हैं।
सी.आई.डी., चलती का नाम गाड़ी, नौ-दो ग्यारह, तीसरी मंज़िल, पेइंग गेस्ट, काला पानी, तुम सा नहीं देखा, दिल देके देखो, दिल्ली का ठग जैसी फिल्मों के गाने आज भी लोकप्रिय हैं। 1994 में उन्हें फिल्म जगत के सर्वोच्च सम्मान दादा साहब फाल्के पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया। इससे पूर्व 1980 में उन्हें ग़ालिब एवार्ड और 1992 में इकबाल एवार्ड प्राप्त हुए थे।
