भारतीय जनता पार्टी के नेतृत्व वाले राष्ट्रीय जनतांत्रिक गठबंधन- एनडीए ने लोकसभा चुनावों में दो सौ 92 सीटा जीतकर पूर्ण बहुमत हासिल किया है। सभी पांच सौ 43 सीटों के परिणाम आ गए हैं। भाजपा ने दो सौ चालीस सीटों पर जीत हासिल की है। आई. एन. डी. आई. ए. गठबंधन के खाते मे दो सौ 33 सीटें आई हैं। अन्य दलों ने 18 सीटें जीती हैं। श्रीलंका के राष्ट्रपति रानिल विक्रमसिंघे ने भारतीय जनता पार्टी के नेतृत्व वाले एनडीए को लोकसभा चुनाव जीतने पर बधाई दी है। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की अध्यक्षता में आज नई दिल्ली में केंद्रीय मंत्रिमण्डल की बैठक होने की संभावना है।
Prominent candidates who have won include Prime Minister and BJP leader Narendra Modi from Varanasi, Union Ministers Amit Shah from Gandhinagar, Om Birla from Kota, Arjun Ram Meghwal from Bikaner, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat from Jodhpur, Jyotiraditya M. Scindia from Guna, Samajwadi Party leader Dimple Yadav from Mainpuri seat and Shatrughan Sinha of TMC from Asansol.
Prominent Candidates who have lost include BJP leader and Union Minister Arjun Munda from Khunti, Smriti Irani from Amethi, National Conference leader Omar Abdullah from Baramullah and PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti from Anantnag seat.
In Uttar Pradesh, result of all the 80 constituencies has been declared. Samajwadi Party has won 37 while the BJP has won 33 seats, Congress six, and Rashtriya Lok Dal won two seats. Apna Dal (Soneylal)-ADAL and Aazad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram)-ASPKR have won one seat each. No BSP candidate managed to win the election in the state.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has won from Varanasi defeating Ajay Rai of Congress by a margin of more than 1 lakh 50 thousand votes. Rajnath Singh of BJP won his Lucknow seat by over one lakh 35,000 votes.
Congress leader, Rahul Gandhi has been declared elected from Rae Bareli seat defeating BJP rival Dinesh Pratap Singh by a margin of over 3 lakh 90 thousand votes.
Akhilesh Yadav of Samajwadi Party has won by more than 1 lakh 70 thousand votes in kannauj.
Other Prominent winners of BJP include Dr. Mahesh Sharma from Gautam Buddha Nagar, Jitin Prasad from Pilibhit, Swami Sachchidanand Hari Sakshi form Unnao, Arun Govil from Meerut, Hema Malini from Mathura and Ravi Kishan from Gorakhpur.
In Bihar, election results of all 40 Lok Sabha constituencies have been declared. The BJP and the Janata Dal (United) have won 12 seats each. Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal, Radha Mohan Singh, Giriraj Singh and Ravi Shankar Prasad are among winning BJP leaders. While, Congress candidates Manoj Kumar, Tariq Anwar and Mohammad Jawed have won their elections.
मेघालय की दो लोकसभा सीट के नतीजे घोषित हो गये है वाइज ऑफ दा पिपुल पार्टी उम्मीदवार रिक्की एंडरिव्यू जे. सिंहकोन ने शिलांग सीट जबकि कांग्रेस के सालेंग संगमा ने तुरा सीट पर विजय प्राप्त की है।
In Delhi, BJP have won on all seven seats. Bansuri Swaraj won from New Delhi seat beating Somnath Bharti of AAP, Praveen Khandelwal secured Chandni chowk seat defeating Congress leader Jai Prakash Agarwal. Ramvir Singh Bidhuri won from South Delhi. Manoj Tiwari defeated Kanhaiya Kumar of Congress by more than one lakh 38 thousand votes. Harsh Malhotra has won East Delhi seat, Kamaljeet Sehrawat has won West Delhi seats and Yogendra Chandoliya won from North-West Delhi seat.
In Punjab, out of all 13 seats. Congress has won 7, Aam Aadmi Party 3, Shiromani Akali Dal 1 and Independent 2 seats.
In Haryana, BJP and Congress have won five seats each.
In lone Lok Sabha seat in Chandigarh, Congress candidate Manish Tewari has won against BJP candidate Sanjay Tandon.
Out of five seats in Jammu and Kashmir, BJP and the National Conference have won two seats each while Independent candidate has one seat.
In lone Parliamentary seat in Ladakh, Independent candidate Haji Hanifa has won.
In Himachal Pradesh, the BJP has won all four Lok Sabha seats. With this clean sweep, the BJP has repeated the history of 2014 and 2019. Prominent leaders among the winners this time include Union Minister Anurag Singh Thakur and actress Kangana Ranaut.

Prime Minister and senior BJP leader Narendra Modi has said it is certain that the NDA will form the government at Centre for the third consecutive term. Addressing party workers at BJP Head Quarter, Mr. Modi said people have shown full faith in the BJP and NDA in this polls. Mr. Modi added that it is a victory of faith in the Indian constitution and the mantra of Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas. He also lauded the Election Commission and others involved in the successful conduct of the Lok Sabha polls 2024.

Global leaders have extended their congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his party for securing a third consecutive victory in the Lok Sabha elections. Leaders from Italy, Mauritius, Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives, and Sri Lanka congratulated the Prime Minister on his win.

The US based software engineering company Ascendion has decided to ramp up its workforce and train their employees in artificial intelligence, betting big on AI adoption and cost rationalisation. The company has opened a GenAI studio in the city to showcase tools and applications to the clients The Company’s Chief executive officer Karthik Krishnamurty said that the company is winning new AI deals and aims to generate at least 50 % of their revenue from the technology.

The Regional Met department has forecast light to moderate rainfall over some areas for the next 48 hours. The city witnessed light showers on Tuesday evening and cooled the hot climate. The weather department said that the temperatures would reduce due to rains for the next two days.

A ceremonial attestation Parade with full Military fanfare was held at The MARATHA Light Infantry Regimental Centre, in Belagavi yesterday. In the ceremony, 560 Agniveers were attested after their successful completion of 31 weeks of training. The attestation parade of the Agniveers was reviewed by Brigadier Joydip Mukherjee, Commandant, The MARATHA Light Infantry Regimental Centre. He applauded the Agniveers on their immaculate turnout and very high standard of drill. The parade was commanded by Agniveer Mukesh Chamar while Major Abhishek Kashyap was the Parade Adjutant. The Agniveers took the “Oath of Affirmation before the National Flag, the Regimental Flag and Religious Holy Books. It was an impressive ceremony attended by serving and retired fraternity of the Regiment and the proud parents of the Agniveers who were attested. Addressing the newly attested Agniveers, the Reviewing Officer reminded them of the rich heritage and the glory of The MARATHA Light Infantry, as one of the oldest Infantry Regiments of the Indian Army. He also stressed upon the importance of discipline and physical fitness in a soldier’s life. He exuded confidence in the training conducted at the Regimental Centre and assured that it would stand the young Soldiers in good stead before wishing them the very best in their future assignments.

In Telangana, the BJP doubled its tally from four to eight, the highest ever tally for the party in the state while the Congress received both joy and disappointment. The Congress had to see losing some of its strongholds despite improving from three in 2019 to eight seats at present in the state. BJP could bag four more constituencies besides all existing four seats.
Meanwhile, winners in 11 out of the 17 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana have seen huge majorities of over one lakh votes with the voters overwhelmingly choosing the winner with no scope for any ambiguity. Among these 11 seats with over one lakh margins, the top two are from the Congress, including Nalgonda and Khammam. In Nalgonda, K Raghuveer Reddy emerged as the winner with the highest margin in the entire state as he won by over 5.59 lakh votes margin. Ramasahayam Raghuram Reddy won Khammam with a margin of over 4.67 lakh votes. E. Rajender of BJP won Malkajgiri by over 3.91 lakh votes majority while BJP General Secretary B Sanjay Kumar won by a majority of 2.25 lakh votes. BJP sitting MP Arvind Kumar re-elected by over 1.09 lakh votes majority. BJP Vice President DK Aruna won Mahabubnagar by 4500 votes majority, which is the lowest majority in the state. MIM President Asaduddin Owaisi won Hyderabad by over 3.38 lakh votes, which is more than that of 2019.
The final tally from Telangana is Congress and BJP won 8 seats each while the MAI-MIM won one seat, Hyderabad.

नई दिल्ली में राष्ट्रपति भवन आम लोगों के लिए आज से 9 जून तक बंद रहेगा। राष्ट्रपति भवन से जारी एक वक्तव्य में कहा गया है कि मंत्रिपरिषद के आगामी शपथ ग्रहण समारोह की तैयारियों के कारण आम लोगों के लिए राष्ट्रपति भवन बंद रहेगा।

यात्रियों की सुगम यात्रा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए, पश्चिम रेलवे यांत्रिक, सिग्नलिंग, विद्युत परिसंपत्तियों और उपकरणों आदि के उचित रख-रखाव के साथ-साथ कई प्री-मानसून कार्यों को मिशन मोड पर कर रही है। पश्चिम रेलवे विभिन्न बाढ़ संभावित स्थानों पर 100 उच्च क्षमता वाले पानी के पंप लगाने पर विचार कर रही है। पश्चिम रेलवे के मुख्य जनसंपर्क अधिकारी सुमित ठाकुर ने कहा है कि रेलवे पटरियों की स्थिति पर नजर रखने के लिए मानसून गश्त की जाएगी और यात्रियों के लिए व्यवधान मुक्त यात्रा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए आपदा प्रबंधन सेल के साथ समन्वय बनाए रखा जाएगा।

प्रवीण नेट्टारू हत्याकांड में फरार आरोपी रियाज यूसुफ हराल्ली को राष्ट्रीय जांच एजेंसी ने गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। उसे मुंबई एयरपोर्ट से उस समय गिरफ्तार किया गया, जब वह विदेश भागने की फिराक में था।

पश्चिम बंगाल में तृणमूल कांग्रेस ने 29 सीटें जीती हैं और बीजेपी ने 12 सीटों पर जीत दर्ज की है। कांग्रेस को 1 सीट मिली है। पिछली बार 2019 के लोकसभा चुनाव में बीजेपी ने 18 सीटों पर जीत दर्ज की थी। इस बार भी लेफ्ट बंगाल में एक भी सीट नहीं जीत पाई।

World Environment Day (WED) is celebrated annually on 5 June and encourages awareness and action for the protection of the environment. It is supported by many non-governmental organizations, businesses, government entities, and represents the primary United Nations outreach day supporting the environment. First held in 1973, it has been a platform for raising awareness on environmental issues as marine pollution, overpopulation, global warming, sustainable development and wildlife crime. World Environment Day is a global platform for public outreach, with participation from over 143 countries annually. Every year, the program has provided a theme and forum for businesses, non government organizations, communities, politicians and stars to advocate environmental causes.
World Environment Day was established in 1972 by the United Nations at the Stockholm Conference on the Human Environment (5–16 June 1972), that had resulted from discussions on the integration of human interactions and the environment. One year later, in 1973, the first WED was held with the theme “Only One Earth”.

जयंतियाँ में आज सबसे पहले जानकारी
मास्टर मदन (जन्म: 28 दिसंबर 1927, जालंधर, पंजाब – मृत्यु: 5 जून 1942, दिल्ली) भारत की आज़ादी से पहले के एक प्रतिभाशाली ग़ज़ल और गीत गायक थे। मास्टर मदन के बारे में बहुत कम लोग जानते है। मास्टर मदन एक ऐसे कलाकार थे जो 1930 के दशक में एक किशोर के रूप में ख्याति प्राप्त करके मात्र 15 वर्ष की उम्र में 1940 के दशक में ही स्वर्गवासी हो गए। ऐसा माना जाता है कि मास्टर मदन को आकाशवाणी और अनेक रियासतों के दरबार में गाने के लिए बहुत ऊँची रकम दी जाती थी। मास्टर मदन उस समय के प्रसिद्ध गायक कुंदन लाल सहगल के बहुत क़रीब थे
मास्टर मदन का जन्म 28 दिसंबर, 1927 को पंजाब के जालंधर ज़िले के खानखाना गाँव में हुआ था। उनके जीवन में केवल 8 गाने ही रिकॉर्ड हो पाये जो आज उपलब्ध है। जिनमें से सार्वजनिक रूप से केवल दो ही गानों की रिकॉर्डिंग सब जगह मिल पाती है।

अन्य छ: गाने बहुत ही कम मिल पाते है। जब वह एक युवा लड़का था तब मास्टर मदन ने राजाओं के दरबार में गायन शुरू कर दिया था। आठ साल की उम्र में उन्हें संगीत सम्राट कहा जाता था।
मास्टर मदन ने पहली बार सार्वजनिक रूप से धरमपुर के अस्पताल द्वारा आयोजित रैली में गाया था। जब उनकी उम्र मात्र साढ़े तीन साल की थी।
मात्र 14 साल की उम्र में 5 जून, 1942 को इस विलक्षण बुद्धि के बालक (Child Prodigy) का निधन हो गया था।

Today is the birth anniversary of Govind Sadashiv Tembe, popularly known as Govindrao Tembe, a harmonium player, stage actor, and music composer.
Govindrao Tempe composed several Marathi “Lakshan Geete” (Songs of Expression) which are innovative ways of indicating the guidelines or rules of a particular Raaga in lyrics and allow the listening experience of that Raaga at the same time.
He composed music for the first Marathi talkie Ayodhyecha Raja (1932). He also acted in this production. His musical score of Manapman remains popular till the date.
He was part-owner of Gandharva Natak Mandali and later, started his own company named Shivraj Natak Mandali.
He wrote dramas and also the padas (songs) in them.
Narayan Sitaram Phadke had called Govindrao Tembe the architect of Marathi Natya Sangeet.

गोविंद शंकर कुरुप (अंग्रेज़ी: Govind Sankara Kurup, जन्म- 5 जून, 1901, नायत्तोट, केरल; मृत्यु- 2 फ़रवरी, 1978) ‘ज्ञानपीठ पुरस्कार’ से सम्मानित मलयाली भाषा के एक प्रसिद्ध साहित्यकार थे। उन्होंने कोचीन राज्य की ‘पंडित’ परीक्षा पास करके अध्यापन की योग्यता प्राप्त की थी। उसके बाद दो वर्ष तक वे यहाँ-वहाँ अध्यापन कार्य भी करते रहे थे। ‘महाकवि’ गोविंद शंकर कुरुप की 40 से अधिक मौलिक और अनूदित कृतियाँ प्रकाशित हो चुकी हैं। गोविंद शंकर कुरुप का जन्म 5 जून, 1901 ई. को केरल के नायत्तोट नामक स्थान पर हुआ था।

रमेश कृष्णन (अंग्रेज़ी: Ramesh Krishnan, जन्म- 5 जून, 1961, चैन्नई) भारत के प्रसिद्ध टेनिस प्रशिक्षक और पूर्व टेनिस खिलाड़ी हैं। 1970 के दशक के अंत में इन्होंने विंबल्डन और फ्रेंच ओपन में पुरुष singles का खिताब जीता था। इन्हें 1998 में भारत सरकार ने ‘पद्मश्री’ सम्मान से सम्मानित किया था।

Today is the birth anniversary of Satish Chandra Mukherjee (5 June 1865 – 18 April 1948) was a pioneer in establishing a system of national education in India, along with Sri Aurobindo.
Satish Chandra received inspiration from Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar. ”Alive to the necessity and the usefulness of all other systems, secular or religious, Eastern or Western,” Satish Chandra’s intense religious temperament laid emphasis on the study of Hindu life, thought and faith.

मुकेश भट्ट ने 1989 में टीवी फिल्म ‘डैडी’ से अपनी शुरुआत की। उसके बाद, उन्होंने उसी साल गुलशन कुमार के साथ मिलकर एक रोमांटिक ड्रामा फिल्म ‘आशिकी’ बनाई थी जो लोगों को बहुत पसंद आई।
Bhatt’s first film as producer was Jurm in 1990 with Vinod Khanna, the film was very successful. Then he collaborated with Gulshan Kumar to produce the love story, Aashiqui, starring debutantes Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal. The films that followed were all big hits. These included Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin and Sadak.
