The Indian Embassy in Qatar informed that around 1 thousand Indians stranded in Doha on transit or short-term visits have departed on Qatar Airways flights over the last three days. It added that Qatar Airways have operated a Doha-New Delhi flight yesterday in which more than 300 Indian passengers stranded in Doha travelled to India. The Embassy further informed that Qatar Airways is planning three flights to Delhi, Mumbai and Kochi for today. It has also advised the Indian community to strictly comply with guidelines of Qatar’s Ministry of Interior for their safety and security. It also urged people not to fall for rumours advised to follow authentic sources of information only.

सरकार ने तेल रिफाइनरियों को एलपीजी उत्पादन बढ़ाने और अतिरिक्त उत्पादन को घरेलू उपयोग के लिए उपलब्ध कराने के निर्देश दिए हैं। यह कदम ईंधन आपूर्ति में मौजूदा भू-राजनीतिक तनाव और एलपीजी आपूर्ति पर लगी पाबंदियों के मद्देनजर उठाया गया है। सोशल मीडिया पोस्ट में पेट्रोलियम और प्राकृतिक गैस मंत्रालय ने कहा कि सरकार ने घरेलू उपभोक्ताओं के लिए एलपीजी आपूर्ति को प्राथमिकता दी गई है। साथ ही जमाखोरी और कालाबाजारी को रोकने के लिए सिलेंडर की दो बुकिंग के बीच का अंतर बढ़ाकर 25 दिन कर दिया गया है।

Government has provided ten crore 51 lakh LPG connections to women from poor households so far under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. The scheme was launched in May, 2016 with an objective to provide deposit free LPG connection to women across the country. Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas Suresh Gopi said this in a written reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha yesterday. He said, the scheme had resulted in a shift from traditional cooking methods that involve burning solid fuels like wood, dung and crop residues. The Minister said government is providing a targeted subsidy of three hundred rupees per cylinder for upto nine refills of 14.2 Kg cylinders per annum for 2025-26.

All Institute of Medical Sciences has said that a Artificial Intelligence-based algorithm has been developed to detect glaucoma at Dr RP Centre for Opthalmic Science in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Family welfare. Addressing the 59th Foundation day of Dr RP Centre for Opthalmic Science at AIIMS, New Delhi, Professor Dr Tarun Dada said an AI system has been developed through which glaucoma can be detected with just a photograph of the patient’s eye.

पश्चिम एशिया में मौजूदा स्थिति को देखते हुए दिल्ली हवाई अड्डे ने एक यात्रा परामर्श जारी किया है। इसमें कहा गया है कि पश्चिम की ओर जाने वाली अंतरराष्ट्रीय उड़ानों में देरी या समय-सारणी में बदलाव हो सकता है। दिल्ली हवाई अड्डे ने यात्रियों को हवाई अड्डे पर जाने से पहले संबंधित एयरलाइनों से ताजा जानकारी प्राप्त करने की सलाह दी है। हवाई अड्डे ने यह भी स्पष्ट किया है कि अन्य सभी उड़ानें निर्धारित समय पर चल रही हैं।

Arignar Anna Zoological Park in Chennai has received new animals, including a pair of Himalayan black bears and a pair of leopard cats from Jammu Zoological Park as part of an inter-zoo animal exchange programme to improve genetic diversity and support conservation breeding. The animals are currently under a mandatory 21-day quarantine. After quarantine, they will slowly adapt to Chennai’s climate before being introduced to the zoo.

बढ़ते यातायात जाम और प्रदूषण को नियंत्रित करने के लिए महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने तत्काल प्रभाव से नए ऑटो रिक्शा परमिट जारी करने पर रोक लगा दी है। राज्य परिवहन मंत्री प्रताप सरनाइक ने कहा कि यह निलंबन तब तक जारी रहेगा जब तक राज्य मंत्रिमंडल परमिट जारी करने के लिए नए मानदंड तय नहीं कर लेता। सरकार उन शिकायतों की भी जांच करेगी जिनमें एक ही परिवार के सदस्यों को कई परमिट जारी किए जाने और कुछ परमिटों के बांग्लादेशी नागरिकों को दिए जाने का आरोप है। राज्य सरकार नागरिकों को बेहतर परिवहन सेवाएं प्रदान करने के लिए जल्द ही एक नई नीति बनाने की योजना बना रही है।

महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने राज्य विधानसभा को सूचित किया है कि बृहन्मुंबई इलेक्ट्रिक सप्लाई एंड ट्रांसपोर्ट (BEST) और उसके ठेकेदारों के लिए काम करने वाले 58 ड्राइवरों को 2022 से 2024 के बीच सड़क दुर्घटनाओं के कारण बर्खास्त कर दिया गया। उपमुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे ने कहा कि इसी तरह के कारणों से 603 ड्राइवरों को निलंबित भी किया गया। दुर्घटनाओं को कम करने के लिए, BEST ने इलेक्ट्रिक बसों के ड्राइवरों के लिए लंबे उन्नत प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रमों सहित कई उपाय शुरू किए हैं।

The Government of Karnataka has signed an agreement with Krishi Kalpa Foundation to establish a Centre of Excellence in Agriculture and Allied Innovation in Kalaburagi under the rupees 1,000 crore LEAP programme. The centre will serve as a rural innovation hub supporting agri-tech startups, research, skill development, and technology adoption in areas such as AI, IoT, robotics, and digital agriculture. The project will be implemented by Krishi Kalpa Foundation with support from the Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society to help startups, Farmer Producer Organisations, Self-Help Groups, and rural innovators in the Kalyana Karnataka region.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has called for a comprehensive upgrade of the state’s police department to tackle the growing menace of cyber crime and narcotic drugs. He was speaking at the Telangana Police Retreat 2026, held in Hyderabad yesterday. Addressing senior police officials, the Chief Minister said the department faces two key challenges technical challenges, which can be resolved by providing resources and technology, and adaptive challenges, which require deeper understanding and strategic planning. Mr Reddy announced that the government will constitute a high-level committee headed by Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao to examine proposals submitted by police officials on issues including cyber crime, narcotics, and recruitment, and to recommend actionable solutions. The Chief Minister also announced that a Police Retreat will be organised every year in December.
