A high-level delegation from Saudi Arabia, led by the Vice Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Khalil ibn Salamah, met with the Union Textiles Secretary in New Delhi yesterday to discuss ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in the textile sector. In a statement, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry said that the meeting underscores commitment to strengthening ties under the strategic partnership council framework. It said that both sides reaffirmed their robust economic relationship, with bilateral trade reaching over 41 billion dollars in the financial year 2024-25.

पाकिस्तान के तस्कर पंजाब सीमा के रास्ते भारत में नशीले पदार्थों की तस्करी के लिए अपने नेटवर्क का विस्तार करने के नए-नए तरीके अपना रहे हैं। बीएसएफ, पंजाब फ्रंटियर के उच्च पदस्थ सूत्रों के हवाले से हमारे संवाददाता ने बताया है कि पाकिस्तान के तस्कर बिना किसी पूर्व तस्करी रिकॉर्ड वाले नए लोगों को प्राथमिकता दे रहे हैं, जिससे वे कानूनी जांच से बच सकें। पाकिस्तान के तस्कर अपने भारतीय सहयोगियों से नाबालिगों को संदेशवाहक के रूप में भर्ती करने के लिए भी कह रहे हैं ताकि गिरफ्तार होने पर उन्हें नाबालिग होने के कारण जेल ना भेजा जा सके।
इस बीच, सीमा सुरक्षा बल ने कड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए इस वर्ष अब तक 203 से अधिक भारतीय ड्रग तस्करों और 16 पाकिस्तानी नागरिकों को पकड़ा है, जिनमें से अधिकांश पंजाब के उच्च जोखिम वाले सीमावर्ती जिलों अमृतसर, तरनतारन और फिरोजपुर से हैं। बीएसएफ ने 3 पाकिस्तानी घुसपैठियों को भी मार गिराया है।
यह बल जमीनी और हवाई निगरानी बढ़ाकर पाकिस्तानी तस्करों द्वारा ड्रोन और जीपीएस-आधारित डिलीवरी विधियों के बढ़ते इस्तेमाल का मुकाबला भी बाखूबी कर रहा है। इसने एंटी-ड्रोन सिस्टम, मोशन सेंसर और नाइट विजन डिवाइस तैनात करके इन ड्रोनों द्वारा भारतीय सीमा में भेजे जा रहे 200 पाकिस्तानी ड्रोनों को 287 किलोग्राम हेरोइन, 13 किलोग्राम आईस ड्रग, एके-47 सहित 174 हथियार, 12 हैंड ग्रेनेड और 10 किलोग्राम से अधिक उच्च विस्फोटक सहित जब्त किया है ।

जनता दल यूनाइटेड की कई सीटों को एलजेपी रामविलास को दिए जाने पर नाराजगी व्यक्त करते हुए अभी तक पार्टी ने प्रत्याशियों के नाम की घोषणा नहीं की है। भाजपा की ओर से इकहत्तर प्रत्याशियों के सूची जारी किए जाने के बाद कल हिंदुस्तानी अवाम मोर्चा ने भी आवंटित किए गए 6 सीटों पर अपने प्रत्याशी घोषित कर दिए।
हमारे संवाददाता ने बताया कि महागठबंधन में सीटों के बंटवारे को लेकर कांग्रेस की केंद्रीय चुनाव समिति ने मैराथन बैठक की। इसके बाद कई नाम तय कर लिए गए हैं।

The State human rights commission directed the Tamilnadu Government to give a compensation of Rs. 3 lakh to the kin of a man who died in Salem Central Prison. K.Gurusamy was arrested in connection with a murder case, and died of cardiac arrest on Oct 15, 2019 while being lodged in prison as a remand prisoner. In his ruling , Commission member Kannadasan remarked that Gurusamy had been in prison only for four months. It is the responsibility of the prison doctors and the Superintendent of prisons to continuously monitor the health conditions of inmates before and after their admission to prison. The order also said that the Government should arrange adequate and specialised escorts when transporting prisoners to outside medical facilities.

मुंबई मेट्रो रेल कॉर्पोरेशन ने एक्वा लाइन पर यात्रियों के लिए एक नई व्हाट्सएप टिकटिंग सेवा शुरू की है। यात्री अब बिना कोई अलग ऐप डाउनलोड किए सीधे व्हाट्सएप के जरिए मेट्रो टिकट खरीद सकते हैं। वे +91 9873016836 पर “Hi” भेज सकते हैं या मेट्रो स्टेशनों पर प्रदर्शित क्यूआर कोड को स्कैन करके तुरंत अपना डिजिटल क्यूआर टिकट प्राप्त कर सकते हैं। यात्री एक बार में अधिकतम छह क्यूआर टिकट खरीद सकते हैं, जिसमें कई भुगतान विकल्प उपलब्ध हैं। यूपीआई लेनदेन पर कोई अतिरिक्त शुल्क नहीं लगेगा, जबकि कार्ड से भुगतान पर मामूली शुल्क लगेगा।

दस्तावेज़ न्यायनिर्णयन प्रक्रिया को सरल बनाने की घोषणा
महाराष्ट्र राजस्व विभाग ने घोषणा की है कि अब मुंबई और उपनगरों में किसी भी स्टाम्प कार्यालय में दस्तावेज़ न्याय-निर्णयन किया जा सकेगा। नागरिकों को केवल अपने क्षेत्र के कार्यालयों में ही दस्तावेज़ पंजीकृत करने की बाध्यता वाली पूर्व की पाबंदी को आधिकारिक तौर पर हटा दिया गया है। इस सुधार के साथ, नागरिक अब मुंबई के छह स्टाम्प कार्यालयों – बोरीवली, कुर्ला, अंधेरी, मुंबई सिटी और पुराने कस्टम हाउस के पास स्थित मुख्य स्टाम्प अधिकारी के दो कार्यालयों में से किसी में भी संपत्ति समझौते, किराये के अनुबंध, उत्तराधिकार विलेख और अन्य महत्वपूर्ण कागजात सहित विभिन्न दस्तावेज़ों का न्यायनिर्णयन पूरा कर सकते हैं।

Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot graced the Right to Information Act- 20 Years Celebration programme in Bengaluru. He emphasised on the increased use of Information Technology at all the levels of governance for a transparent administration. He stressed that the need of the hour is to completely digitize and simplify the Right to Information process, enhance the independence and efficiency of Information Commissions and nurture transparency as a moral value in governance. The Telangana Human Rights Commission (THRC) has taken suo-motu cognisance of three vehicles registered in the State for displaying unauthorised and misleading human rights related titles, government emblems, advocate symbols, press symbols and other prohibited markings. The move follows verified reports and photographic evidence indicating that such displays could mislead people into assuming official status. The THRC directed the Chief Secretary of Telangana to submit a consolidated report on preventive measures, the Director General of Police to take action regarding siren misuse and impersonation, and the Transport Commissioner to verify vehicle registrations and unauthorised alterations. Vehicle owners have been called upon to submit their responses by the next hearing. The commission has scheduled the next review for 11 AM on 24th next month.

⦁ इतिहास में आज के दिन दर्ज घटना में सबसे पहले है 1686 (छियासी) की जब – औरंगजेब ने बीजापुर सल्तनत के साथ शांति समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए। यह समझौता क्षेत्र में स्थिरता लाने के लिए महत्वपूर्ण था।

15 October – Global Handwashing Day
अच्छा स्वस्थ्य बनता है, अच्छी आदतों से और इन आदतों की षुरूआआत होती है छोटे – छोटे क़दमों से। इन्हीं में से एक है – हाथ धोना। क्या आप जानते हैं कि हाथ धोने के लिए समर्पित एक दिन होता है। बीमारियों से बचने के प्रभावी और टिकाऊ तरीके के रूप में साबुन से हाथ धोने के महत्व की वकालत करने के लिए 15 अक्टूबर को ग्लोबल हैंडवाशिंग डे के रूप में मनाया जाता है। यह दिन अधिक से अधिक लोगों को साबुन से हाथ धोने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करने और आग्रह करने का अवसर है।
ग्लोबल हैंडवाशिंग डे पर यह जानना जरूरी है कि आखिरकार हाथों को धोने का सही तरीका क्या है, ताकि हम अपने आसपास के लोगों को इसके लिए जागरूक सकें-
– सबसे पहले हाथों को पानी से अच्छे तरीके से गीला कर लें।
– हाथों को पानी से गीला करने के बाद साबुन या हैंडवॉश लें और अपनी हथेलियों पर रगड़ें।
– हाथ में साबुन का अच्छा झाग बनाकर, इससे हथेलियों के आगे व पीछे हिस्से को रगड़ें।
हथेलियों के अलावा उंगलियों को भी रगड़ें, ताकि वह भी कीटाणु मुक्त हो जाएं।
– अब हाथों को पानी के नीचे ले जाकर साफ करें।
– हाथों को साफ करते हुए ध्यान दें कि साबुन सही तरीके से निकल गया है या नहीं।
– पानी से हाथों को धोने के बाद तौलिये या टिश्यू से पोंछकर सूखा कर लें।

अब्दुल कलाम (1931)
मिसाइल मैन के नाम से मशहूर भारत रत्न डॉ. ए.पी.जे. अब्दुल कलाम की आज जयंती है। उनका जन्म आज ही के दिन 1931 को तमिलनाडु के रामेश्वरम में एक साधारण परिवार में हुआ था। जहां से निकलकर श्री कलाम ने महान वैज्ञानिक से लेकर राष्ट्रपति तक का सफर तय किया। वे इसरो और डीआरडीओ में मिसाइल कार्यक्रमों के प्रमुख रहे और भारत को परमाणु शक्ति सम्पन्न बनाने में निर्णायक भूमिका निभाई। 2002 से 2007 तक भारत के 11वें राष्ट्रपति के पद पर रहे। उन्हें 1997 () में भारत रत्न से अलंकृत किया गया। विद्यार्थियों के प्रति उनका लगाव किसी से छुपा नहीं था। वे अक्सर बच्चों से अपने अनुभव साझा करते थे और उन्हें सपने देखने, उन्हें हासिल करने की प्रेरणा देते थे। यही कारण भी रहा की श्री कलाम को हमेशा ‘जनता का राष्ट्रपति’ कहा गया। उनकी किताबें जैसे ‘विंग्स ऑफ फायर’ ने लाखों लोगों को प्रेरित किया, और 27 जुलाई 2015 को शिलांग में उनका निधन हो गया। इस समय भी वे एक व्याख्यान ही दे रहे थे। सपने, संभावनाएं और संकल्प किस तरह लक्ष्य को साकार कर सकते हैं डॉक्टर एपीजे अब्दुल कलाम इसका प्रत्यक्ष उदाहरण हैं।
Today, we fondly remember our dear President, the late Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam. Dr Kalam was an aerospace scientist who served as the 11th President of India from 2002 to 2007. During his term as president, he was affectionately known as the “People’s President”. He was born and raised in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu and studied physics and aerospace engineering.
He spent the next four decades as a scientist and science administrator, mainly at the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and was intimately involved in India’s civilian space programme and military missile development efforts.
He thus came to be known as the Missile Man of India for his work on the development of ballistic missile and launch vehicle technology.
Dr.Kalam was noted for his integrity and his simple lifestyle. He was a teetotaler and a vegetarian Kalam enjoyed writing Tamil poetry, playing the veena (an Indian string instrument), and listening to Carnatic devotional music every day.His personal possessions included a few books, a veena, clothing, a compact disc player and a laptop. He left no will, and his possessions went to his eldest brother after his death.
Dr.Kalam set a target of interacting with 100,000 students during the two years after his resignation from the post of scientific adviser in 1999. He explained, “I feel comfortable in the company of young people, particularly high school students. Henceforth, I intend to share with them experiences, helping them to ignite their imagination and preparing them to work for a developed India for which the road map is already available.” His dream is to let every student light up the sky with victory using their latent fire in the heart.On the anniversary of Dr. Kalam’s birth in 2015, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released topics in his name as a part of the CBSE expression series.

Every year on October 15th, India celebrates the birth anniversary of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, one of the country’s most admired scientists, educators, and former Presidents. The day is marked as a tribute not only to his achievements in science and public service but also to his lifelong commitment to inspiring and guiding students. The occasion also serves a wider purpose of reinforcing the role of education among the young students of the country. Dr Kalam’s life itself is an inspiration of determination and mission. He was born in a small village in Rameswaram and attained great heights of success with hard work and a thirst for knowledge. From being born in humble beginnings to a world-class scientist and then being President, his life represents the power of knowledge, inquiry, and selfless service – and it inspires the youth to believe in themselves and to dream big, even in the most difficult of circumstances. मदन सिंह चौहान (1947)
छत्तीसगढ़ की धरती से निकली एक मधुर आवाज़ के स्वरूप, मदन सिंह चौहान ने लोक संगीत को नई ऊँचाइयों तक पहुँचाया। 15 अक्टूबर 1947 को जन्मे वे बचपन में टीन के पीपे को ही वाद्य यंत्र बनाकर रियाज़ करते थे, लेकिन उनकी मेहनत ने उन्हें ‘गुरुजी’ का खिताब दिलाया। छत्तीसगढ़ी लोक गीतों के माध्यम से उन्होंने अपनी मिट्टी की कहानियाँ गाईं और युवाओं को संगीत की ओर प्रेरित किया। 2020 में पद्म श्री सम्मान से नवाजे गए चौहान ने कई एल्बम दिए और स्थानीय संस्कृति को जीवंत रखा। उनकी रचनाएँ आज भी ग्रामीण भारत की आत्मा को छूती हैं। और अब हम आपको उनका ये मधुर भजन सुनाते हैं –

हिंदी सिनेमा के संगीत जगत के बादशाह, शंकर ने जयकिशन के साथ मिलकर सदियों के गीत रचे जो आज भी गूंजते हैं। आज शंकर की जन्मदिन है। हैदराबाद में जन्मे शंकर जिनका पूरा नाम शंकर सिंह रघुवंशी ने प्रिथ्वी था। उन्होंने थिएटर में तबला बजाकर अपना करियर शुरू किया। 1949 (उनचास) में ‘बारसात’ से संगीत निर्देशन में डेब्यू कर वे राज कपूर के पसंदीदा बने, और ‘श्री 420’, ‘जंगली’, ‘संगम’ जैसी फिल्मों के सदाबहार गीतों से लोकप्रिय हुए। श्रोताओं तैयार हो जाइए एक जादुई संगीतमय सफर के लिए! आइए सुनते हैं, शंकर जयकिशन की जोड़ी के कुछ सुनहरे गीत
