सरकार ने वित्तीय वर्ष 2026-27 के विपणन सत्र के लिए सभी अधिदेशित रबी फसलों का न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य बढ़ा दिया है। प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी की अध्यक्षता में आर्थिक मामलों की मंत्रिमंडलीय समिति ने कल यह निर्णय लिया। सबसे अधिक वृद्धि कुसुम फलों पर की गई है। कुसुम के न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य में प्रति क्विंटल छह सौ रुपये और मसूर दाल पर प्रति क्विंटल तीन सौ रुपये की बढोत्तरी की गई है। सरसों का न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य ढाई सौ रुपये प्रति क्विंटल, चना का दो सौ पचीस रुपये, जौ का एक सौ सत्तर रुपये और गेंहू का एक सौ साठ रुपये प्रति क्विंटल बढाया गया है। मंत्रिमंडल की बैठक के बाद सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने संवाददाताओं से कहा कि संशोधित न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य से न सिर्फ किसानों को लाभ होगा बल्कि फसल विविधता को भी बढ़ावा मिलेगा, जिससे देश की कृषि अर्थव्यवस्था अधिक समायोजी बनेगी।
केन्द्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने दालों के लिये आत्मनिर्भरता मिशन को भी मंजूरी दी है। यह दालों के घरेलू उत्पादन को बढ़ावा देने और आत्मनिर्भरता हासिल करने के लिए महत्वपूर्ण कदम है। आर्थिक मामलों की मंत्रिमंडलीय समिति ने देशभर में 57 नए केन्द्रीय विद्यालय खोलने की भी स्वीकृति दी है।

A Special Gram Sabha will be held today across 1 lakh tribal-dominated villages and Tolas, where communities will formally adopt the Tribal Village Vision 2030 Declaration. This move is part of the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan, launched by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs. Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan marks the world’s largest tribal grassroots leadership programme, covering 11 crore citizens in 30 States and UTs. The Government has declared the period from 15th November last year to 15th November this year as Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had officially launched the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan and Adi Sewa Parv on 17th of last month, focusing on responsive governance, community participation, and youth leadership through the Adi Sewa Parv program. The Ministry of Tribal Affairs informed that each village will also establish an Adi Sewa Kendra for public services, encourage voluntary service and use the AI-based Adi Vaani App for multilingual communication. Further the ministry stated that over 20 lakh officials, women, and youth have been trained as Adi Karmayogis to drive last-mile delivery of schemes and promote convergence under flagship programs like PM JANMAN and Dharti Aaba Abhiyan 2.0.

The Tamil Nadu Police has announced fresh recruitment to strengthen its bomb detection and disposal squad. The move comes ahead of the state’s general assembly elections scheduled for April next year, when the demand for bomb disposal personnel is expected to be higher. The Office of the Director General of Police, Operations, has said that applications are being invited from ex-servicemen and ex-paramilitary personnel for 59 vacancies including 43 head constables, 14 sub-inspectors and two-inspectors. The recruitment will be on a one-year contractual basis and extendable if required.

The Criminal Investigation Department of Tamil Nadu arrested 24 more scamsters and dismantled five syndicates involved in the multi crore Iridium scam. The racket was busted on 12th of September based on a complaint filed by the Reserve Bank of India. Subsequent searches at 43 locations across the State and four locations in neighbouring states led to the apprehension of 30 suspects. After these arrests, the police secured 24 more individuals including a key suspect, Swaminathan.

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar has said that he will personally inspect pothole filling work in Bengaluru. Saying that the pothole filling is a continuous process, he added that interaction with the public will be held to know about the quality of road works. The Deputy Chief Minister said that there are 1.20 crore vehicles in the city and a floating vehicle population of 50 lakh.

The Shakti Scheme of Karnataka government that provides free public transport for women has won the recognition by the International Book of Records-World Record of Excellence. The recognition comes for issuing over 500 crore free tickets to women passengers commuting in the Government run public transport buses. The state transport minister Ramalinga Reddy expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the officers, employees and labour union leaders of four State Road Transport Corporations for their contribution in achieving this feat.

पुण्यतिथियों में अगला नाम है राजकुमारी अमृत कौर का। वे भारत की एक प्रख्यात गांधीवादी, स्वतंत्रता सेनानी और एक सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता थीं। राजकुमारी अमृत कौर स्वतंत्रता प्राप्ति के बाद भारतीय मंत्रिमण्डल में दस साल तक स्वास्थ्य मंत्री रहीं। उन्हें देश की पहली महिला कैबिनेट मंत्री होने का सम्मान प्राप्त है। राजकुमारी अमृत कौर, कपूरथला के शाही परिवार से ताल्लुक रखती थीं। राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गाँधी के प्रभाव में आने के बाद ही उन्होंने भौतिक जीवन की सभी सुख-सुविधाओं को छोड़ दिया और तपस्वी का जीवन अपना लिया। वे राज्य सभा की सदस्य भी रहीं। वर्ष 1930 में ‘दांडी मार्च’ के समय राजकुमारी अमृतकौर ने गाँधीजी के साथ यात्रा की और जेल भी गईं। उन्होंने वर्ष 1927 में अखिल भारतीय महिला सम्मेलन की स्थापना की। वर्ष 1950 में इन्हें विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन का अध्यक्ष बनाया गया था। यह सम्मान हासिल करने वाली वह पहली एशियायी महिला थीं।

और अब बात जन्म-जयंतियों की। आज जयंती है राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गाँधी की। उन्हें ब्रिटिश शासन के ख़िलाफ़ भारतीय राष्ट्रीय आंदोलन का नेता और ‘राष्ट्रपिता’ माना जाता है। वर्ष 1869 में आज ही के दिन उनका जन्म हुआ था। महात्मा गाँधी का पूरा नाम मोहनदास करमचंद गाँधी था। उन्हें बापू कहकर भी संबोधित किया जाता है। राजनीतिक और सामाजिक प्रगति की प्राप्ति हेतु अपने अहिंसक विरोध के सिद्धांत के लिए बापू को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय ख्याति प्राप्त हुई। वे भारतीय स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन के एक महान और आध्यात्मिक नेता थे। ‘साबरमती आश्रम’ से उनका अटूट रिश्ता था। इस आश्रम से महात्मा गाँधी आजीवन जुड़े रहे, इसीलिए उन्हें ‘साबरमती का संत’ की उपाधि भी मिली।
श्रोताओं, आज ही जयंती है प्रसिद्ध भारतीय राजनेता, महान् स्वतंत्रता सेनानी और भारत के दूसरे प्रधानमंत्री रहे लाल बहादुर शास्त्री जी की। वर्ष 1904 में आज ही के दिन उनका जन्म हुआ था। जून 1964 से 11 जनवरी 1966 को अपनी मृत्यु तक लगभग अठारह महीने वे भारत के प्रधानमन्त्री रहे। इस प्रमुख पद पर उनका कार्यकाल अद्वितीय रहा। शास्त्री जी ने काशी विद्यापीठ से शास्त्री की उपाधि प्राप्त की। स्वतन्त्रता प्राप्ति के बाद शास्त्रीजी को उत्तर प्रदेश के संसदीय सचिव के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया था। गोविंद बल्लभ पंत के मन्त्रिमण्डल में उन्हें पुलिस और परिवहन मन्त्रालय सौंपा गया। परिवहन मन्त्री के कार्यकाल में उन्होंने पहली बार महिला कण्डक्टर्स की नियुक्ति की थी। पुलिस मंत्री होने के बाद उन्होंने भीड़ को नियन्त्रण में रखने के लिये लाठी की जगह पानी की बौछार का प्रयोग प्रारम्भ कराया। वे एक ऐसी हस्ती थे, जिन्होंने प्रधानमंत्री के रूप में देश को न सिर्फ सैन्य गौरव का उपहार दिया बल्कि हरित क्रांति और औद्योगीकरण की राह भी दिखाई। शास्त्री जी किसानों को जहां देश का अन्नदाता मानते थे, वहीं देश के सीमा प्रहरियों के प्रति भी उनके मन में अटूट प्रेम था।

आज ही जयंती है बांग्ला और हिन्दी फ़िल्मों के प्रसिद्ध निर्देशक रहे तपन सिन्हा की। इन्हें 2006 का दादा साहब फाल्के पुरस्कार मिला। तपन सिन्हा की फ़िल्में भारत के अलावा बर्लिन, वेनिस, लंदन, मास्को जैसे अंतरराष्ट्रीय फ़िल्म समारोहों में भी सराही गईं। तपन सिन्हा ने हमेशा कम बजट की फ़िल्में बनाईं। शैलजानंद मुखर्जी की रचना कृष्णा पर उनकी फ़िल्म ‘उपहार’ लोकप्रिय फ़िल्म रही है। सुनते हैं इसी फिल्म से ये सदाबाहर गीत –

कार्यक्रम के अंत में अपने श्रोताओं संग मना लेते हैं भारतीय हिन्दी फ़िल्मों की प्रसिद्ध अभिनेत्री, निर्देशक और निर्माता दादा साहब फाल्के पुरस्कार विजेता, आशा पारेख का जन्मदिन। आज ही के दिन 1942 में उनका जन्म हुआ। आशा पारेख ने शम्मी कपूर, शशि कपूर, धर्मेन्द्र, देवानंद, अशोक कुमार, सुनील दत्त और राजेश खन्ना जैसे मंझे हुए कलाकारों के साथ काम किया। आशा पारेख द्वारा अभिनीत कुछ मुख्य फिल्मों के नाम हैं -‘मैं तुलसी तेरे आँगन की’, ‘फिर वही दिल लाया हूँ’, ‘कटी पतंग’, ‘मौसम’, ‘कन्यादान’, ‘आन मिलो सजना’, ‘तीसरी मंजिल’, ‘लव इन टोक्यो’, ‘मेरा गाँव मेरा देश’, ‘आया सावन झूम के’, ‘बिन फेरे हम तेरे’, ‘उपकार’ आदि। आशा जी को कई प्रतिष्ठित पुरुस्कारों से सम्मानित किया गया ।सुन लेते हैं आशा पारिख जी पर फिल्माए गए कुछ गीतों की मेडली –
