सर्वदलीय संसदीय प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने पाकिस्तान प्रायोजित आतंकवाद से लड़ने के लिए भारत के दृढ़ संकल्प को दुनिया के समक्ष रखने के लिए उपराष्ट्रपति जे.डी. वेंस और उप विदेश मंत्री क्रिस्टोफर लैंडौ से मुलाकात के बाद अमरीका की यात्रा पूरी की। कई देशों के दौरे के अंतिम चरण में कांग्रेस सांसद शशि थरूर के नेतृत्व में प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने प्रमुख वार्ताकारों को ऑपरेशन सिंदूर के बारे में जानकारी दी। भारत ने अंतरराष्ट्रीय समुदाय तक पहुंच बनाने और आतंकवाद के साथ पाकिस्तान के सम्बंधों पर जोर देने के लिए 33 देशों की राजधानियों का दौरा करने का काम सात बहु-पक्षीय प्रतिनिधिमंडलों को सौंपा है। प्रतिनिधिमंडल 3 जून को अमरीकी राजधानी पहुंचा और तीन दिनों के दौरान कैपिटल हिल के साथ-साथ वाशिंगटन में भी कई बैठकें कीं। प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने अमरीकी सरकारी अधिकारियों और सांसदों को सीमा पार आतंकवाद पर भारत के रुख के बारे में जानकारी दी। 24 मई को भारत से न्यूयॉर्क पहुंचे इस दल ने दौरे के आखिरी चरण में वाशिंगटन पहुंचने से पहले गुयाना, पनामा, कोलंबिया और ब्राजील की यात्रा की।

At least 28 persons, stranded at Chaten in north Sikkim, and 20 Army personnel were airlifted yesterday as the road connectivity in the region had been snapped due to multiple landslides triggered by heavy rain. A chopper evacuated 28 civilians, comprising minors, tourist taxi drivers and government officials, from Chaten in the first sortie, while 20 Army personnel returned to Pakyong Greenfield Airport in another trip. The MI-17 helicopter also transported essential supplies for Army personnel stationed at Chaten. The Sikkim Government arranged the helicopter to provide immediate relief and safe evacuation of those affected by the landslides in the region after getting a distress call from them This comes under the ongoing coordinated relief and evacuation efforts being undertaken in view of the recent adverse conditions that have disrupted road connectivity and access to the region. North Sikkim has been hit by multiple landslides triggered by heavy rain, disrupting road and telecommunication connectivity there.

Defence Research and Development Organisation’s Vehicle Research and Development Establishment (VRDE) in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, has transferred technologies of nine defence systems to 10 Indian industries. The systems include the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) Recce Vehicle, Mounted Gun System, Anti-Terrorist Vehicle, and Vajra-Riot Control Vehicle, among others. The technology transfer ceremony was attended by DRDO Chairman Dr. Samir V Kamat. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Kamat complimented DRDO and the industry for the exceptional performance of indigenous systems during Operation Sindoor. VRDE also signed a memorandum of understanding with COEP Technological University, Pune, to collaborate on emerging technologies.

अमरीकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रम्प का 12 देशों के नागरिकों के अमरीका में प्रवेश पर प्रतिबंध लगाने का आदेश सोमवार से लागू हो गया। अमरीका ने जिन 12 देश के नागरिकों पर प्रतिबंध लगाया है उनमें अफगानिस्तान, म्यांमार, चाड, कांगो, इक्वेटोरियल गिनी, इरिट्रिया, हैती, ईरान, लीबिया, सोमालिया, सूडान और यमन शामिल हैं। बुरुंडी, क्यूबा, लाओस, सिएरा लियोन, टोगो, तुर्कमेनिस्तान और वेनेजुएला सहित सात अन्य देशों के लोगों के प्रवेश पर आंशिक रूप से प्रतिबंध लगाया जाएगा। ट्रम्प प्रशासन ने प्रतिबंध के लिए आतंकवाद, खराब पहचान सत्यापन, वीजा अवधि से अधिक समय तक रहने और आपराधिक रिकॉर्ड का हवाला दिया। यह आदेश राष्ट्रपति की घोषणा के जरिए जारी किया गया जो कार्यकारी आदेश के समान है।

South Western Railway with headquarters in Karnataka organised Sundays on Cycle event yesterday in Hubballi as part of the Khelo India Fit India initiative. Cycle is a health centric event by the railways to pass on the message of physical fitness. Over 50 officers of South Western Railways along with gold and silver medal winning railways sports persons participated in cycling and other events. The program promoted fitness, wellness and an active lifestyle among the railway employees at large. The South Western Railways General Manager Mukul Saran Mathur was the Chief Guest on this occasion. He lauded the efforts and achievements of the railway zone athletes on national and international platforms such as Asian games and Commonwealth games. He emphasised the importance of physical fitness in professional and personal life. He said the event manifests Fit India vision and motivates the railways to dedicate itself for the service of people. Lt. Gen. Manjinder Singh, army commander of the South Western Command and colonel of the Madras Regiment, presented artificial limbs to beneficiaries under the “Walk Again” project, jointly organized by the Rotary Clubs of Coimbatore and Trichur. The initiative aims to provide 500 artificial limbs across districts in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Medical departments and panchayat organizations helped identify and screen recipients. Medical camps were conducted under the supervision of orthopedic specialists, physiotherapists, and technicians from the Coimbatore Midtown Limb Centre. Custom-made limbs were fitted and gait training provided. Singh said the project will transform beneficiaries’ lives by restoring mobility and self-confidence, enabling economic contribution and positively impacting families and society. He also felicitated veteran achievers of the Indian Army and praised the Madras Regiment for its service, including its role in “OP SINDOOR.”

Anna University is planning to get an undertaking from recruiters that they will honor the job offers issued during placement drive. The Centre for University – industry collaboration is planning to invite more than 400 companies in 2025-26. K.Shanmuga Sundaram, Director of the Centre said that it has been planned to take the undertaking as students are not allowed to sit for other placement interviews after accepting the job offer letters. The university is taking this step as a precautionary measure as it plans to extend the number of recruiters from 230 companies this year to 400 companies next by inviting new compaies. Student ambassadors have reached out to 40 new companies and are preparing presentations with the strength of their individual departments and skill sets they have gained in the past six semesters.

IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation is building market facing technologies for the benefit of the public. The CEO of the Pravartak , Dr.M.J.Shankar has siad that it was a challenge of translating academic research into real world applications and what it means to be a non profit housed at India’s top patent filing academic institution. The aim is to take academic research from lab to field. IIT Madras focuses on fundamental research and the goal ist to create maket facing solutions. The objective is to train entrepreneurs in areas such as finance, marketing and help them get customers and connect with venture capitalists and handhold them through the process. The Pravartak Technologies has contributed to real time translation of parliamentary proceedings to 22 Indian languages and legal document translation for the Supreme Court, through the Bhashini platform. He said that the institution also closely works with ministries including defence, finance, electronics and information technology and telecom for translating IP into scalable solutions .He told that they mentor 40 startups out which six are graduated.

Former President Ram Nath Kovind has praised Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya as a rare leader without any foes or rivals in public life. Speaking after releasing Dattatreya’s autobiography in Telugu ‘Prajala Kathe, Naa Atma Katha’ (story of people is my story), he said Dattatreya is a personality who is a friend to all.
Leaders cutting cross political lines, including former Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, Governors of various states and Union Minister G Kishan Reddy attended the event. Mr Kovind said Dattatreya does not have a word like enemy in his dictionary of life. Hailing Dattatreya for his tireless efforts to uplift the poor and aiding those in need, he also recalled his imprisonment during the Emergency. Venkaiah Naidu said Dattatreya’s life has always been intertwined with people and remained committed to a political ideology is as important as honesty and integrity which is exemplified by Dattatreya. Chandrababu Naidu described him as a ‘gentleman politician’, and praised his service during the devastating 1977 cyclone and also his jail term during the Emergency. He said the Haryana Governor’s life serves as a role model in many ways. Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma and his Andhra, Tripura and Odisha counterparts S Abdul Nazeer, N Indrasena Reddy and K Hari Babu and host of eminent personalities from different walks of life attended the event.

मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता ने बताया कि केन्द्र सरकार ने दिल्ली में यातायात को सुचारू बनाने और प्रदूषण कम करने की दिशा में 24 हजार करोड रूपये की कई परियोजनाओं को मंजूरी दीं। इसमें शिवमूर्ति महिपालपुर से नेल्सन मंडेला मार्ग तक बनने वाली पांच किलोमीटर लंबी सुरंग भी शामिल है। कुल छह लेन इस भूमिगत सडक में इलेक्ट्रो मैकेनिकल सिस्टम, आग से सुरक्षा, सीसीटीवी, कंट्रोल रूम और इमरजेंसी निकासी जैसी सुविधाएं होंगी। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि इस परियोजना से यातायात की भीडभाड कम होगी। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि यह परियोजना अगले वर्ष शुरू हो सकती है।

दिल्ली पुलिस ने कई वर्षों से दिल्ली में अवैध रूप से रह रहे 66 बंग्लादेशियों को हिरासत में लिया है। पुलिस ने बताया है कि पश्चिमोत्तर दिल्ली में बिना किसी वैध दस्तावेज के रह रहे इन बांगलादेशियों को वापस भेजने की कार्रवाई की जा रही है। ये सभी नागरिक अवैध रूप से भारत में घुसे थे और वीज़ा तथा आव्रजन नियमों का उल्लंघन करते हुए रह रहे थे। पुलिस ने बताया है कि विदेशी क्षेत्रीय पंजीकरण कार्यालय इन्हें बांगलादेश भेजने के लिए कानूनी और कागजी कार्रवाई पूरा कर रहा है।

महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस ने घोषणा की है कि राज्य भर के सभी सरकारी कार्यालय दिसंबर 2025 तक सौर ऊर्जा पर परिवर्तित हो जाएंगे। महाऊर्जा के नए प्रशासनिक भवन के उद्घाटन समारोह में बोलते हुए, श्री फडणवीस ने घरेलू स्तर पर सौर ऊर्जा अपनाने को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए प्रधानमंत्री सूर्यघर योजना के प्रभावी कार्यान्वयन पर भी जोर दिया। अक्षय ऊर्जा क्षेत्र में महाराष्ट्र की अग्रणी भूमिका पर प्रकाश डालते हुए मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य ने पिछले दो वर्षों में 5 लाख से अधिक सौर कृषि पंप स्थापित किए हैं – जो भारत के किसी भी अन्य राज्य से अधिक है।

महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस ने घोषणा की कि राज्य सरकार प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं का एक मजबूत नेटवर्क बनाने पर ध्यान केंद्रित कर रही है। पुणे के मावल तालुका के अंबी-तारकवाड़ी में पुष्पलता डीवाई पाटिल अस्पताल का उद्घाटन करते हुए, श्री फडणवीस ने स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्र में निवेश के लिए राज्य के प्रयासों पर प्रकाश डाला, और उल्लेख किया कि हाल ही में 10 नए मेडिकल कॉलेज स्थापित किए गए हैं। महात्मा फुले जन आरोग्य योजना और आयुष्मान भारत जैसी प्रमुख स्वास्थ्य योजनाओं का उल्लेख करते हुए मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि गरीब मरीज़ ₹5 लाख तक का मुफ़्त इलाज प्राप्त कर सकते हैं।

मछली पकड़ने के लिए समुद्र में जाने वाले मछुआरों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए इसरो की तकनीक का उपयोग किया जा रहा है। काकद्वीप सब-डिवीजन के अंतर्गत आने वाले ट्रॉलरों में सैटेलाइट बेस्ड मैरीटाइम सेफ्टी असिस्टेंट सिस्टम डिवाइस नामक ट्रांसपोंडर लगाने का काम चल रहा है। इस डिवाइस के जरिए गहरे समुद्र में मोबाइल नेटवर्क काम न करने पर चेतावनी संकेत भेजा जा सकेगा। इसके अलावा, अगर कोई ट्रॉलर गलती से भारतीय सीमा पार कर बांग्लादेश की सीमा में प्रवेश करने की कोशिश करता है, तो भी यह अत्याधुनिक डिवाइस ट्रॉलर को अलर्ट करेगा। इससे समुद्र में मछलियों के स्टॉक का पता लगाने में भी मदद मिलेगी। काकद्वीप सब-डिवीजन में शुरुआती तौर पर 300 ट्रॉलरों में डिवाइस लगाने का काम चल रहा है।

As archives hold historical records, photographs,
artifacts, and art, technology enables digitization of these items. Digitization protects originals from damage due to handling, pollution, or climate changes. It makes copies that can be shared online without risking loss of originals.

सबसे पहले स्मरण लोकनायक भगवान बिरसा मुंडा का। बिरसा मुंडा अत्यंत पिछडे जनजातीय समुदायों के उत्थान के साथ भारत को स्वाधीन कराने के लिए सक्रिय और समर्पित रहे। उन्होंने अंग्रेज़ों के दमन के विरुद्ध मुंडा आदिवासियों को खड़ा किया। 19वीं सदी में बिरसा भारतीय स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन के इतिहास में एक मुख्य कड़ी साबित हुए थे। बिरसा मुंडा ने अपने अनुयायियों को संगठित किया और एक दल को मुंडा धर्म प्रचार में तो दूसरे को राजनीतिक कार्य में लगाया। कहा जाता है कि 1895 में कुछ ऐसी आलौकिक घटनाएँ घटीं, जिनके कारण लोग बिरसा को भगवान का अवतार मानने लगे। लोगों में यह विश्वास दृढ़ हो गया कि बिरसा के स्पर्श मात्र से ही रोग दूर हो जाते हैं।

अब बात प्रसिद्ध स्वतंत्रता सेनानी हरि किशन सरहदी की जिन्होंने भारत की स्वाधीनता के लिए संघर्ष करते हुए अपना सर्वोच्च बलिदान दे दिया। हरि किशन सरहदी ने 23 दिसम्बर, 1930 को दीक्षांत समारोह के अध्यक्ष ज्योफ्रे डी मोरमोरेंसी को दो गोली मारी थीं। जिसके बदले में इन्हें मृत्यु दंड दिया गया।

स्वतंत्र भारत का स्वप्न लाखों-लाख भारतीयों ने देखा था। और इसके लिए अपना सबकुछ गंवाने से भी उन्हें पीछे नहीं हटे। भारत के अमर शहीद क्रांतिकारी दिनेश चंद्र मजूमदार को भी आज हम नमन कर रहे हैं जिन्होंने अंग्रेज़ पुलिस कमिश्नर टेगार्ट की हत्या का प्रयास किया था। हालांकि उनकी योजना सफल नहीं हुई और वह इसमें वह चूक गए। उन्होंने कलकत्ता को अंग्रेज़ों से छीन लेने की भी योजना बनाई थी, लेकिन किसी मुखबिर की सूचना पर पुलिस ने उन्हें पकड़ लिया और बाद में 9 जून,1934 को फ़ाँसी दे दी गई।

‘दुनिया’, ‘अफसाना’, ‘बरसात’, ‘पारसमणि’, ‘आया तूफान’, ‘मैंने प्यार किया’ जैसी फिल्मों के लिए यादगार गीत लिखने वाले अपने समय के जानेमाने गीतकार और शायर असद भोपाली की भी आज पुण्यतिथि है। असद भोपाली को भी अपने काम को पहचान दिलाने के लिए लंबे समय तक संघर्ष करना पडा। असद भोपाली ने 40 साल में करीब 100 फ़िल्मों के लिए 400 गीत लिखे। उन्हें फ़िल्म ‘मैंने प्यार किया’ के लिए लिखे गीत ‘कबूतर जा जा जा’ के लिए फ़िल्मफेयर पुरस्कार मिला, हालांकि स्वास्थ्य संबंधी समस्याओं के कारण वह पुरस्कार लेने नहीं जा सके। असद भोपाली ने 9 जून, 1990 को इस दुनिया को अलविदा कहा।

1950 से 1980 के दशक तक हिंदी फ़िल्मों में शीर्ष निर्देशक, निर्माता और पटकथाकारों में से एक रहे राज खोसला की भी आज पुण्य तिथि है। 31 मई, 1925 को पंजाब में जन्मे राज खोसला ने गुरु दत्त के सहायक के रूप में अपना कॅरियर शुरू किया और बाद में उन्होंने कई हिट फ़िल्में दीं। ‘वो कौन थी’? (1964), ‘मेरा साया’ (1966), ‘दोस्ताना’ (1980) और मुख्य फ़िल्म ‘मैं तुलसी तेरे आंगन की’ (1978) के लिए उन्हें फ़िल्मफेयर का सर्वश्रेष्ठ मूवी पुरस्कार मिला। इसके अलावा राज खोसला द्वारा निर्मित फिल्मों में शामिल है :-‘दो रास्ते’ ‘सोलहवां साल’ ‘काला पानी’ ‘एक मुसाफिर एक हसीना’, ‘चिराग’, मेरा गांव मेरा देश और ‘सन्नी’ आदि। राज खोसला 9 जून, 1991 को इस दुनिया अलविदा कह गए।

आज जन्म दिन है देश की पहली महिला IPS और सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता किरण बेदी का। 9 जून, 1949 को आपका जन्म हुआ। वह पुदुचेरी की उपराज्यपाल भी रहीं। उन्होंने विभिन्न पदों पर रहते हुए अपनी कार्य-कुशलता का परिचय दिया है। वे संयुक्त आयुक्त पुलिस प्रशिक्षण तथा दिल्ली पुलिस स्पेशल आयुक्त (खुफिया) के पद पर कार्य कर चुकी हैं। उन्हें वर्ष 2002 के लिए भारत की ‘सबसे प्रशंसित महिला’ के रूप में चुना गया। किरण बेदी ने विभिन्न पदों पर कार्य करते हुए पुलिस सुधार, जेल सुधार और मादक पदार्थ नियंत्रण के लिए अभियान चला कर काम किए। उन्होंने संयुक्त राष्ट्र सिविलियन पुलिस एडवाइजर के रूप में भी अपनी सेवा दी। राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर ख्याति प्राप्त करने वाली किरण बेदी ने अनेक पुस्तकें भी लिखीं जिनमें इट्स ऑलवेज पॉसिबल, व्हाट वेंट रॉन्ग, ऐज आई सी और उनकी बायोग्राफी आई डेयर भी शामिल हैं।
