प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी आज उत्तर प्रदेश और मध्य प्रदेश का दौरा करेंगे। वे अपने संसदीय क्षेत्र वाराणसी में तीन हजार आठ सौ 80 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक की विकास परियोजनाओं का शिलान्यास और उद्घाटन करेंगे। हमारे संवाददाता ने बताया है कि इन परियोजनाओं में वाराणसी में बुनियादी ढांचे का विकास और सड़क संपर्क शामिल है।
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी आज अपने वाराणसी दौरे के दौरान 1,629 करोड़ रुपये की 19 परियोजनाओं का उद्घाटन और 2,255 करोड़ रुपये की 25 नई परियोजनाओं का शिलान्यास करेंगे। पीएम द्वारा शिलान्यास के साथ ही वाराणसी-लखनऊ राजमार्ग (एनएच-31) पर अंडरपास रोड टनल का निर्माण, एमएसएमई यूनिटी मॉल का निर्माण, वाराणसी रिंग रोड और सारनाथ के बीच सड़क पुल और भिखारीपुर और मंडुआडीह क्रॉसिंग पर फ्लाईओवर जैसी महत्वाकांक्षी परियोजनाओं पर काम शुरू हो जाएगा। वहीं प्रधानमंत्री द्वारा उद्घाटन की जाने वाली परियोजनाओं में जल जीवन मिशन के तहत यूपी जल निगम ग्रामीण की 345 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक की 130 ग्रामीण पेयजल योजनाएं शामिल हैं। प्रधानमंत्री की जनसभा में वाराणसी जिले के बुद्धिजीवियों, महिलाओं, किसानों, व्यापारियों और छात्रों समेत 50,000 से अधिक लोगों के शामिल होने की उम्मीद है। इस जनसभा को ऐतिहासिक बनाने के लिए बीजेपी की ओर से खास तैयारियां की गई हैं। प्रधानमंत्री की जनसभा के मद्देनजर जिले में सुरक्षा के कड़े इंतजाम किए गए हैं।

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) formally arrested Tahawwur Hussain Rana, the key conspirator in the deadly 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, immediately after his arrival in New Delhi yesterday evening, following his successful extradition from the United States. Rana, a Canadian national of Pakistani origin, was taken for medical examination and was produced before special NIA Judge in Patiala House Court last night. The court sent him to 18-day custody of the National Investigation Agency.
Rana was being held in judicial custody in the US pursuant to proceedings initiated by the NIA under the India-US Extradition Treaty. He is accused of conspiring with David Coleman Headley alias Daood Gilani, and operatives of designated terrorist organisations Lashkar-e-Taiba and Harkat-ul-Jihadi Islami along with other Pakistan-based co-conspirators, to carry out the devastating terror attacks in Mumbai in 2008. A total of 166 persons were killed and over 238 injured in the deadly attacks.

Meanwhile, the US State Department has reiterated its commitment to combating global terrorism in collaboration with India after the US extradited Tahawwur Rana to India. During a press briefing, US State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce stated that the US has consistently supported India’s efforts to hold those responsible for the attacks accountable.

In a major development, United States President Donald Trump has announced a 90-day pause on reciprocal tariffs for all but China. In a social media post, he said, the 90-day breather will apply to reciprocal and 10 per cent tariffs. The US President said, he was authorizing a 90-day pause as part of his tariff plan, but was also raising the tariff rate for China to 125 per cent, effective immediately. Mr. Trump said, based on the lack of respect that China has shown to world’s markets, he was raising the Tariff charged to China by the United States.
Meanwhile, US stocks saw their biggest rally in years after President Trump announced a pause on certain reciprocal tariffs. The move helped calm investor fears that had shaken markets over the past week.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped 7.87 per cent, its biggest one-day gain since March 2020. The S&P 500 rose 9.52 per cent, its best performance since 2008. The Nasdaq Composite soared 12.16 per cent, marking its second-best day ever and the biggest gain since January 2001.

उत्तर प्रदेश में कल वर्षा के कारण हुई दुर्घटनाओं में एक महिला सहित 22 लोगों की मौत हो गई। मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने मृतकों के परिजनों को चार-चार लाख रुपये की अनुग्रह राशि देने की घोषणा की है। उन्होंने अधिकारियों से बुधवार रात और बृहस्पतिवार सुबह के बीच राज्य में हुई मूसलाधार बारिश और तूफान के कारण जानमाल के नुकसान का शीघ्रता से सर्वेक्षण करने का निर्देश दिया है। राहत आयुक्त के कार्यालय के अनुसार 13 लोगों की मौत बिजली गिरने के कारण हुई जबकि शेष लोगों की मृत्यु दीवार गिरने या छत गिरने के कारण हुई। सरकारी प्रवक्ता ने बताया की 36 जिलों में मूसलाधार वर्षा होने की खबर है जबकि 11 जिलों में लोग हताहत हुए हैं। इन जिलों में कानपुर देहात, फतेहपुर, फिरोजाबाद, कन्नौज, संत कबीर नगर, सीतापुर, सिद्धार्थ नगर, आजमगढ़, अमेठी, बाराबंकी और बलिया शामिल हैं। मुख्यमंत्री ने सभी जिलाधिकारियों, उप-जिलाधिकारियों और तहसीलदारों से तत्काल प्रभावित क्षेत्रों का दौरा करने और विस्तृत रिपोर्ट तैयार करने के लिए कहा है। सर्वेक्षण रिपोर्ट संबधित विभाग को प्रस्तुत की जानी चाहिए ताकि मुआवजे की राशि 24 घंटे के भीतर सीधे किसानों के खाते में भेजी जा सके। उन्होंने अधिकारियों से विपणन केन्द्रों और मंडियों में गेहूं का सुरक्षित भंडारण सुनिश्चित करने के भी निर्देश दिए।

बिहार में पिछले 24 घंटों में बारिश से जुड़ी घटनाओं में 58 लोगों की जान चली गई। राज्य में भारी बारिश, तेज हवाएं और बिजली गिरने से राज्य में जान-माल का भारी नुकसान हुआ। सबसे ज्यादा मौतें नालंदा जिले में हुईं जहां पेड़ उखड़ने और दीवारें गिरने से 22 लोगों की जान गई। राज्य में बिजली गिरने, पेड़ उखड़ने और दीवारें गिरने से जुड़ी घटनाओं में 35 लोगों का मौत हो गई। इसके अलावा भोजपुर में पांच और गया जिले में तीन लोगों की जान चली गई। पटना, गोपालगंज, मुंगेर, समस्तीपुर, जहानाबाद, मुजफ्फरपुर, अररिया, बेगूसराय और कई अन्य जिलों में लोगों के हताहत होने की खबर है। सुपौल सहित राज्य के कई इलाकों में तेज हवाओं के साथ बारिश हुई। मौसम विभाग ने अगले 48 घंटों में राज्य में और बारिश की चेतावनी दी है। आपदा प्रबंधन विभाग ने लोगों से सतर्क रहने और बारिश के दौरान बाहर न निकलने को कहा है।

राष्ट्रीय राजधानी दिल्ली में आयुष्मान भारतप्रधानमंत्री जन आरोग्य योजना लागू हो गई है। इसके साथ ही योजना के लिए पंजीकरण कीभी शुरूआत हो चुकी है। केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्री जे पी नड्डा और दिल्ली की मुख्यमंत्रीरेखा गुप्ता ने कल नई दिल्ली के विज्ञान भवन में इस योजना का शुभारंभ किया। इसअवसर पर श्री नड्डा ने कहा कि आयुष्मान भारत प्रधानमंत्री जन आरोग्य योजना दुनियाकी सबसे बड़ी स्वास्थ्य कवरेज कार्यक्रम है, जिसकेतहत वर्तमान में 62 करोड़ लोग लाभान्वित हो रहे हैं। हमारे संवाददाता ने बताया हैकि इस अवसर पर शहर के कई निवासियों को आयुष्मान स्वास्थ्य कार्ड भी वितरित किए गए।
वहीं, दिल्ली की मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता ने कहा कि सरकार बनने के पचास दिन के भीतर दिल्लीवासियों को आयुष्मान कार्ड वितरित कर दिये गये हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि दिल्ली के नागरिकों का जो अधिकार था, वो आज उन्हें मिल गया है।

The Governor of Karnataka Thaawarchand Gehlot has stressed that the teachings of Tirthankara Lord Mahavira are essential for global peace and welfare. He was speaking at the 2624th Janmakalyana Mahotsav of Lord Sri 1008 Mahavira Swamy yesterday. The Governor highlighted the teachings of Mahavira who propagated peaceful coexistence and universal brotherhood through the principals of truth, non violence, not stealing, celibacy and non possessiveness. He added that Lord Mahavira’s divine message of ‘Ahimsa Paramo Dharmaha’ remains as relevant today as ever. The Governor reiterated that Mahavira’s teachings are appropriate to deal with anger, tension and violence prevalent in the society. महाराष्ट्र के परिवहन मंत्री प्रताप सरनाईक को महाराष्ट्र राज्य सड़क परिवहन निगम (एमएसआरटीसी) का अध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया गया है। पिछले कुछ महीनों से यह पद खाली था। एक वरिष्ठ सरकारी अधिकारी ने बताया कि यह नियुक्ति केंद्रीय कानून के तहत महाराष्ट्र सरकार द्वारा बनाए गए नियमों और आदेशों के अनुसार की गई है।

State chief minister A Revanth Reddy inaugurated the initiative for serving as a unified data exchange, bringing together high-quality datasets from various government departments and partner organizations. An official release stated that the platform will support the development, testing, and scaling of AI solutions in real-world scenarios by providing secure and structured access to these datasets, as well as multiple other functionalities. It will also act as a catalyst for collaboration across government, startups, industry, and academia, accelerating innovation and the adoption of AI in the state. The State IT Electronics and Communication department in collaboration with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) is driving the Grand Challenge with other key ecosystem enablers. The Challenge seeks to identify, support, and implement cutting-edge AI-first solutions to address critical challenges across sectors overseen by the government.
The Telangana AI Rising Grand Challenge focuses on high-impact use cases across key sectors, such as education, healthcare, public transport, and more. From interactive learning tools for students and predictive healthcare models to AI-powered tools, the challenge aims to tap into the transformative potential of artificial intelligence in improving governance, enhancing citizen service delivery, and driving innovation in the public sector.
The winner of the challenge for each use case will receive a cash prize of 15 lakh rupees to implement pilot projects within the state of Telangana.

कलकत्ता उच्च न्यायालय की एकल पीठ ने पश्चिम बंगाल विधानसभा में प्रतिपक्ष के नेता शुभेंदु अधिकारी को हनुमान जयंती के अवसर पर, कल कोलकाता में रैली आयोजित करने की अनुमति दे दी। हालांकि न्यायमूर्ति तीर्थंकर घोष की एकल पीठ ने कल अपना फैसला सुनाते हुए रैली के लिए कई शर्तें निर्धारित की हैं। एकल पीठ के निर्देशों के अनुसार रैली कल शाम 5 बजे से 8 बजे के बीच आयोजित की जा सकती है, जिसमें भाग लेने वालों की कुल संख्या 250 से अधिक नहीं होनी चाहिए। आयोजकों को ध्वनि प्रदूषण नियमों का सख्ती से पालन करना होगा। रैली में डीजे के इस्तेमाल पर भी रोक लगाई गई है। मालूम हो कि हनुमान जयंती पर कोलकाता पुलिस द्वारा रैली आय़ोजित करने से मना करने के बाद प्रतिपक्ष के नेता ने अदालत का रूख किया था। मामले की सुनवाई के बाद अदालत ने रैली आयोजित करने की सर्शत अनुमति दे दी।

आज पुण्यतिथि है हिंदी साहित्य के सबसे सफल और प्रभावी लेखकों में से एक रहे उपन्यासकार फणीश्वर नाथ रेणु (4 मार्च 1921 – 11 अप्रैल 1977) की। फणीश्वरनाथ का जन्म 4 मार्च 1921 को बिहार के पूर्णिया जिले के औराही हिंगना गाँव में हुआ था, यह गांव अब अररिया जिले में आता है। फणीश्वरनाथ नाथ रेणु को उनके उसूलों और मानवीय मूल्यों के लिए ताउम्र संघर्ष करने वाली शख़्सियत के तौर पर जाना जाता है. मैला आँचल और परति परिकथा जैसे उनके कई अमर उपन्यासों को फिल्माया गया हैं। उन्हीं में से एक है मारे गए गुलफ़ाम, जिस पर गीतकार शैलेंद्र ने बासु भट्टाचार्य के निर्देशन में फ़िल्म ‘तीसरी क़सम’ बनाई थी। आइए सुनते हैं

आज ही के दिन कमल जयसिंह रणदिवे ( जन्म समरथ ; 8 नवंबर 1917 – 11 अप्रैल 2001) की भी पुण्यतिथि है. वे एक भारतीय बायोमेडिकल शोधकर्ता थीं, जो कैंसर और वायरस के बीच संबंधों पर अपने शोध के लिए जानी जाती थीं। वह भारतीय महिला वैज्ञानिक संघ की संस्थापक सदस्य थीं। 1960 के दशक में, उन्होंने मुंबई में भारतीय कैंसर अनुसंधान केंद्र में भारत की पहली ऊतक संवर्धन अनुसंधान प्रयोगशाला की स्थापना की। रणदिवे ने बॉम्बे में टाटा मेमोरियल कैंसर अस्पताल में भी काम किया है, जब वो वहां के पैथोलॉजी विभाग में काम कर रही थीं, तो उन्होंने “स्तन कैंसर के प्रति संवेदनशीलता में चूहों की अलग-अलग चार प्रजातियों की सामान्य स्तन ग्रंथियों की तुलनात्मक आकृति विज्ञान” पर शोध अध्ययनों पर रिपोर्ट दी। फरवरी 1945 में, उन्होंने स्तन कैंसर के अध्ययनों पर रिपोर्ट दी, जिसने विशेष ध्यान आकर्षित किया था। रणदिवे को 1982 में चिकित्सा के लिए पद्म भूषण से सम्मानित किया गया था। उन्हें भारतीय चिकित्सा परिषद के पहले रजत जयंती अनुसंधान पुरस्कार 1964 से सम्मानित किया गया था। उन्हें माइक्रोबायोलॉजी में 1964 के जीजे वाटमुल्ल फाउंडेशन पुरस्कार से भी सम्मानित किया गया था।
