Indian Railways, in coordination with IRCTC and Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board, will operate the Bharat Gaurav Train for devotees wishing to visit Kedarnath, Badrinath, and other pilgrimage centers. The Badri-Kedar-Kartik Swami Yatra by Bharat Gaurav Manaskhand Express is a 10-night/11-day tour package covering places like Rishikesh, Rudraprayag, Gupt Kashi, Kedarnath, Kartik Swami Temple, Jyotirmath and Badrinath. The Badri-Kedar Kartik Swami Yatra will commence with departure from CSMT on 3rd of October at 2 PM, and will conclude with arrival at CSMT on October 13th at 11 AM. Passengers can board or deboard at Kalyan, Pune, Daund, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, Veerangana Laxmibai Jhansi, Gwalior, Agra Cantt, Hazrat Nizamuddin, and Haridwar.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Men’s Selection Committee has announced Indian squad for the second Test against Bangladesh. The selection committee has confirmed that the squad remains unchanged for the second Test. The match will be held in Kanpur, starting from 27th of this month. India crushed Bangladesh by a huge margin of 280 runs on the fourth day of the opening Test to take a 1-0 lead in the two-match series.

State Industries Minister T.R.B.Raja has said that the Government has plans to build a space research park in Tamilnadu. Speaking at a college event in Chennai, he asked the students to be space ready and told that the Government had secured deals with around 18 companies for the purpose. Emphasising India’s potential to move beyond service oriented economy he challenged students to create the next google. The Minister told that the State Government’s initiative will help the students through seed funding.

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister and Irrigation minister D K Shivakumar has assured that the new crest gates will be installed at the Tungabhadra reservoir. He said that the downstream states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana will be consulted along with Tungabhadra Board before the new crest gates are installed. He informed that the proposed new crest gates will use the latest technology. Enormous water was released from the dam due to the collapse of Crest Gate number 19 last month in the dam and later reinstalled. After which the dam is full now due to good monsoon. Shivakumar also said that a detailed project report is ready to build the Navali balancing reservoir to utilise additional 33 TMC of water from Tungabhadra river that is the state share.

In Telangana, Hyderabad Meteorological Centre has issued an yellow alert of intense spell of rain for about 11 districts of the state in the next three days and the authorities are gearing for another spell of heavy rain. Several districts, including Hyderabad, are expected to experience downpours along with thunderstorms, lightning and squalls till 25th of this month. Meanwhile, several areas in and around Hyderabad city received moderate rainfall of up to 58 mm last evening.
Meanwhile, significant rainfall recorded in the state as the ongoing southwest monsoon has brought significant rainfall and the State recorded an average of 919 mm so far. It is a 31 percent increase over the normal 703.6 mm of rainfall. Hyderabad has also witnessed an above-average monsoon, recording 780.4 mm of rainfall, which is 36 percent deviation from its normal 575.5 mm.

आगामी हरियाणा विधानसभा चुनाव के मद्देनजर फरीदाबाद जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी विक्रम सिंह ने जिला के सभी प्रिंटिंग प्रेस संचालकों को बिना जांच पड़ताल के चुनाव पैम्फलेट, पोस्टर और संबंधित प्रचार सामग्री की छपाई और प्रकाशन के लिए मना किया है। श्री सिंह ने कहा कि ऐसा न करना चुनाव आयोग के नियमों का उल्लंघन होगा और दोषियों पर कड़ी कार्यवाही की जाएगी। इसके अलावा चुनाव से संबंधित हर सामग्री पर मुद्रक और प्रकाशक का नाम अवश्य होना चाहिए। नियमों के उल्लंघन पर दोषियों को छह महीने की सजा से लेकर उनके प्रिंटिंग प्रेस का लाइसेंस निरस्त किया जा सकता है।

बृहन्मुंबई नगर निगम (बीएमसी) ठाणे में येवई और काशेली को मुलुंड से जोड़ने वाली 21 किमी लंबी water tunnel बनाएगा। अधिकारियों के मुताबिक, बीएमसी ने प्रस्तावित परियोजना के लिए कार्य आदेश जारी कर दिया है, जिसका निर्माण एक महीने में शुरू होने की उम्मीद है। यह परियोजना दो चरणों में पूरी की जाएगी, जिसकी अनुमानित लागत ₹4,500 करोड़ है। इसके अलावा, बीएमसी कई प्रमुख underground water tunnels बनाने पर विचार कर रही है जो मरोल और माहिम, मालाबार हिल और क्रॉस मैदान, वेरावली और यारी रोड, साथ ही गुंडावली और भांडुप कॉम्प्लेक्स जैसे प्रमुख स्थानों को जोड़ेगी।

केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री और वरिष्ठ भाजपा नेता अमित शाह विधानसभा चुनाव से पहले भाजपा कार्यकर्ताओं से बातचीत करने के लिए 24 सितंबर से महाराष्ट्र के दो दिवसीय दौरे पर जाएंगे। भाजपा की राज्य इकाई के प्रमुख चन्द्रशेखर बावनकुले ने बताया कि श्री शाह अपने दौरे के पहले दिन नागपुर और छत्रपति संभाजीनगर में पार्टी पदाधिकारियों से मिलेंगे, इसके बाद वह 25 सितंबर को नासिक और कोल्हापुर का दौरा करेंगे। बावनकुले ने कहा कि श्री शाह का मार्गदर्शन पार्टी को सक्रिय करेगा। भारतीय रेलवे भारत गौरव ट्रेन सीएसटीएम-केदारनाथ-बद्रीनाथ और अन्य तीर्थयात्राओं के लिए चलाएगी

The International Day of Sign Languages is a unique opportunity to support and protect the linguistic identity and cultural diversity of all deaf people and other sign language users. During the 2024 celebration, the world will once again highlight the unity generated by sign languages. World leaders and other government officials are invited to sign this year’s theme “Sign up for Sign Language Rights” in their national sign language.
The Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities recognizes and promotes the use of sign languages. It makes clear that sign languages are equal in status to spoken languages and obligates states parties to facilitate the learning of sign language and promote the linguistic identity of the Deaf community. The UN General Assembly has proclaimed 23 September as the International Day of Sign Languages in order to raise awareness of the importance of sign language in the full realization of the human rights of people who are deaf.
The resolution establishing the day acknowledges that early access to sign language and services in sign language, including quality education available in sign language, is vital to the growth and development of the deaf individual and critical to the achievement of the internationally agreed development goals. It recognizes the importance of preserving sign languages as part of linguistic and cultural diversity. It also emphasizes the principle of “nothing about us without us” in terms of working with Deaf communities.
Keeping in mind the sensitivities diryangjans, the first bulletins in sign language was started by DD on 15th October 1987.

Ramdhari Singh (23 September 1908 – 24 April 1974), known by his nom de plume Dinkar, was an Indian Hindi poet, essayist, patriot and academic, who is considered as one of the most important modern Hindi poets. His poetry exuded veer rasa, and he has been hailed as a Rashtrakavi on account of his inspiring patriotic compositions. He was a regular poet of Hindi Kavi sammelan on those days and is hailed to be as popular and connected to poetry lovers for Hindi speakers as Pushkin for Russians.

Prem Chopra is an actor in Hindi and Punjabi films.Prem Chopra made his debut in Bollywood with the Bharat Bhushan-starer Mud Mud Ke Na Dekh in 1960, which didn’t do well. In 1960 he got a Punjabi film Chaudhary Karnail Singh opposite established star Jabeen Jalil and the film won a National Award and got Prem noticed.But he didn’t have much hit Hindi films till 1964 with exception of his debut Punjabi hit films Karnail Singh and Sapni. His peak period in Hindi films as a villain has been from 1967 to 1991. After 1999, he appeared as a villain in very few films. He took up positive character roles from 1999 and started getting more positive roles from 2005. His screen space got reduced in the films after 2005.He has ever since 1967 been a leading villain in Hindi films. The dialogs “My name is Prem, Prem Chopra” from the film Bobby and from the film Souten “Mai wo bala hu jo sheshay se pathar ko todtee hai” which closely translates to “I am that trouble which crushes stones with glass” are immensely popular.

कुमार सानु (पूरा नाम केदारनाथ भट्टाचार्य) हिन्दी फिल्मों के एक प्रसिद्ध गायक हैं। इन्होंने गायन की शुरुआत वर्ष 1989 में फिल्म जादूगर से की। ज़ुर्म फिल्म के “जब कोई बात बिगड़ जाए” से उन्हें पहली सफलता मिली। लेकिन उन्हें फिल्म आशिकी ने सुपरस्टार बना दिया। उन्हें लगातार पाँच सालों तक, 1991 से लेकर 1995 तक फ़िल्मफ़ेयर सर्वश्रेष्ठ पार्श्व गायक पुरस्कार जीता। 2009 में इन्हें भारत सरकार द्वारा पद्म श्री भी मिल चुका है। एक दिन में 28 गाने रिकॉर्ड करवाने वाले वह एकमात्र गायक हैं। उन्होंने दस हज़ार गाने गाये हैं।

Palash Sen is an Indian singer, songwriter, musician, composer and actor best known as the founder and frontman of India’s Rock/Pop band Euphoria. Born to doctors, Palash is of Bengali Vaidya and Dogri Gaur Saraswat Brahmin Caste. According to his family history, he comes from a family of Rajvaidyas (Sen Sharma) and is the 17th generation physician of his family. He was born in Lucknow, brought up in Delhi, and used to stay in Connaught Place’s Railway Colony and Srinagar. Thereafter he studied medicine at the University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) and Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, New Delhi, and received an M.B.B.S. degree. While in college, Palash founded his band Euphoria. He had started composing songs from in college days and was writing them in English. His first composition is believed to be ‘Heaven on the Seventh Floor’ which was an ode to his college hostel room, on the seventh floor. Euphoria’s first release, ‘Dhoom Pichuck Dhoom,’ was a major commercial hit and received rave reviews from the critics worldwide. Their second album had the hit ‘Maeri’ that went on to become the biggest song on the early 2000’s in India. Euphoria went on to become the biggest Indian band, with seven successful studio albums, one compilation and 30 music videos.

Srijit Mukherji (born 23 September 1977) is a film director and screenwriter who predominantly works in Bengali cinema.
His first feature film, Autograph (2010), was a critical and commercial success, winning 41 awards. His fifth film, Jaatishwar, won 4 national awards at India’s 61st National Film Awards (2014). He won the National Film Award for Best Director and Best Original Screenplay for his sixth film, Chotushkone, at India’s 62nd National Film Awards. His eighth film, Rajkahini, became an official selection at the 19 international film festivals, and has been remade into a Hindi film titled, Begum Jaan, starring Vidya Balan in 2017. His 2018 release Ek Je Chhilo Raja won the ‘Best Bengali Film’ Award at India’s National Film Awards.
