Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus was sworn-in as the head of Bangladesh’s interim government. Bangladesh President Mohammed Shahabuddin administered the oath to him at Bangabhaban in Dhaka yesterday, evening. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended his best wishes to Professor Muhammad Yunus for assumption of his new responsibilities in Bangladesh. In a social media post, the Prime Minister hoped for an early return to normalcy, ensuring the safety and protection of Hindus and all other minority communities in Bangladesh. Mr Modi said, India remains committed to working with Bangladesh to fulfill the shared aspirations of the people of both the countries for peace, security and development. Mr Muhammad Yunus is a Bangladeshi entrepreneur, banker, and economist. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006 for founding the Grameen Bank and pioneering the concepts of microcredit and microfinance.

The unique registered investor base of National Stock Exchange (NSE) has crossed the 10-crore mark for the first time. It took over 25 years for the registered investor base to hit the 4-crore mark in March 2021. The subsequent 1-crore increments have come through at an accelerated pace, taking on an average of about 6-7 months. The last crore was added in just over five months, the NSE said in a release. During this period, daily new unique investor registrations have averaged between 50,000 to 78,000. The investor base has seen more than 3 times jump in the last five years, facilitated by rapid growth in digitisation, rising investor awareness, financial inclusion, and sustained market performance.

आईआईटी दिल्ली का 10 अगस्त को 55वां वार्षिक दीक्षांत समारोह आयोजित किया जायेगा। करेगा। आईआईटी दिल्ली के निदेशक प्रोफेसर रंगन बनर्जी ने संवाददाताओं को यह जानकारी दी। उन्होंने बताया कि जुबिलेंट भरतिया ग्रुप के संस्थापक और सह अध्यक्ष हरि एस. भरतिया और आईआईटी दिल्ली के एक पूर्व प्रतिष्ठित छात्र 1979 बैच, बी.टेक. कैमिकल इंजीनियरिंग, स्नातक छात्रों को मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में संबोधित करेंगे। श्री बनर्जी ने कहा कि 55वें दीक्षांत समारोह में 2600 से अधिक छात्र अपनी डिग्री प्राप्त करेंगे जिसमें 25 प्रतिशत महिला छात्र है।

BENGALURU METRO
The South Western Railways has resumed passenger train services yesterday between Bengaluru and Mangaluru. The railway track between Kadagaravalli and Yedakumeri Stations in the Sakleshpur and Subramanya Road Section was blocked by a landslide on July 26. The dedicated teams worked relentlessly in heavy rain and cleared the track of all the debris. After an engine rolling test the track was certified fit for goods trains only. A fully loaded goods rake has successfully traversed on the restored track that has marked the successful completion of the restoration work. As a precautionary measure, a speed limit of 15kmph has been imposed initially. After finding the track fit for trains, the railways resumed passenger train service today from Yesvantpur in Bengaluru to Mangaluru junction. The South Western Railway Division has said that all the trains will resume on this route as per their scheduled date and timings.

महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने मुख्यमंत्री कृषि एवं खाद्य प्रसंस्करण योजना के लिए 24 करोड़ 74 लाख 82 हजार रुपये वितरित करने की मंजूरी दी। महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने वर्ष 2024-25 के लिए मुख्यमंत्री कृषि और खाद्य प्रसंस्करण योजना के कार्यान्वयन के लिए 24 करोड़ 74 लाख 82 हजार रुपये की धनराशि वितरित करने के लिए कृषि आयुक्त को मंजूरी दे दी है। इस संबंध में कृषि विभाग की ओर से सरकारी आदेश जारी कर दिया गया है. मुख्यमंत्री कृषि एवं खाद्य प्रसंस्करण योजना किसानों के उत्थान के लिए शत-प्रतिशत राज्य प्रायोजित योजना है, जिसका उद्देश्य राज्य में खाद्य प्रसंस्करण उद्योग को बढ़ावा देना, किसानों की भागीदारी के माध्यम से आधुनिक तकनीक पर आधारित परियोजनाओं की स्थापना को प्रोत्साहित करना है। कृषि उपज का मूल्य, उत्पादित भोजन की गुणवत्ता बढ़ाना, ऊर्जा की बचत करना और परियोजनाओं के आधुनिकीकरण को बढ़ावा देना।

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has taken up an initiative to collect details of buildings for survey under the Comprehensive Integrated Geographic Information System (GIS) and give unique identity numbers known as Digital Address for buildings. Commissioner Amrapali Kata informed that this is not linked to property tax. The Commissioner clarified that Property Tax increase or decrease is not an issue and that people must not panic. She further said the project will help both ways, if an individual is levied with more or less property then it is a long process for them to visit offices, court and then the additional commissioner and commissioner. The GIS Unique number known as Digital Address will be a new scientific number. The data will be secured and access to data will be saved in RailTel of the Government of India, Ministry of Railways server.

सरकार ने बांग्लादेश की मौजूदा स्थिति को ध्यान में रखते हुए पश्चिम बंगाल में भारत बांग्लादेश सीमा पर बाड़ लगाने का काम जल्द पूरा करने का फैसला लिया है। पश्चिम बंगाल में बांग्लादेश के साथ 2200 किलोमीटर की सीमा है, जिसमें से 1600 किलोमीटर की बाड़ लगाने का काम पूरा हो चुका है। ऐसे कई स्थान हैं जहां नदियों द्वारा सीमा का संकेत दिया जाता है। जमीन पर बाड़ लगाने का काम पूरा करने के लिए राज्य और केंद्र सरकार दोनों मिलकर काम कर रही हैं।
