संसद भवन में नवर्निवाचित संसद सदस्यों का शपथ ग्रहण आज भी जारी रहेगा। 18वीं लोकसभा के पहले सत्र के प्रथम दिन कल प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी सहित कई सांसदों को शपथ दिलाई गई। लोकसभा में सदन के नेता प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने सबसे पहले शपथ ली। अस्थाई लोकसभा अध्यक्ष भर्तृहरि महताब ने उन्हें शपथ दिलाई। इसके बाद लोकसभा की कार्यवाही में श्री महताब की सहायता के लिए नियुक्त अध्यक्ष पैनल के सदस्यों ने शपथ ली। भाजपा सांसद राधा मोहन सिंह और फग्गन सिंह कुलस्ते ने अध्यक्ष पैनल के सदस्य के रूप में शपथ ली। हालांकि, कांग्रेस सांसद के0 सुरेश, डीएमके सांसद टी. आर. बालू और टीएमसी के सुदीप बंद्योपाध्याय ने पैनल के सदस्यों के रूप में शपथ नहीं ली।

केंद्रीय कोयला और खान मंत्री जी. किशन रेड्डी ने राज्य मंत्री सतीश चंद्र दुबे के साथ कल नई दिल्ली में एक कार्यक्रम में महत्वपूर्ण और रणनीतिक खनिज ब्लॉकों की नीलामी के चौथे चरण का शुभारंभ किया। नीलामी में महत्वपूर्ण खनिजों के 21 ब्लॉक शामिल हैं। इनमें से 11 नए ब्लॉक अरुणाचल प्रदेश, छत्तीसगढ़, झारखंड, कर्नाटक, राजस्थान और उत्तर प्रदेश में हैं। कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए श्री रेड्डी ने बताया कि नई सरकार बनने के 100 दिनों के भीतर तटीय खनिज ब्लॉकों की नीलामी का पहला चरण शुरू किया जाएगा। खान मंत्रालय के अनुसार, इन ब्लॉकों में ग्रेफाइट, ग्लूकोनाइट, फॉस्फोराइट, पोटाश, निकेल, फॉस्फेट और दुर्लभ पृथ्वी तत्व (आरईई) सहित विभिन्न प्रकार के खनिज शामिल हैं। हमारे संवाददाता ने बताया कि श्री रेड्डी ने कार्यक्रम में दो नई अधिसूचित निजी अन्वेषण एजेंसियों को प्रमाण पत्र भी सौंपे हैं। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने अन्वेषण लाइसेंस धारकों के अन्वेषण व्यय की आंशिक प्रतिपूर्ति के लिए एक योजना की भी घोषणा की। इस योजना के तहत 20 करोड़ रुपये की ऊपरी सीमा के अधीन लागत का 50 प्रतिशत तक अन्वेषण व्यय की प्रतिपूर्ति की जाएगी।

Delegates from more than 30 countries and representatives of many international organisations will participate in the three day Meeting to deliberate on critical issues of sugar and biofuel sector.
India is starting the series of events with industrial tour of the international delegates to one grain-based distillery at Muzaffarnaga in Uttar Pradesh to showcase India’s adoption of latest technology in production of biofuels and other by-products. A workshop titled ‘Sugar and Biofuels – Emerging Vistas’ is also being organised today at Bharat Mandapam. Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and New and Renewable Energy, Pralhad Joshi, Union will inaugurate the workshop.
ISO Council nominated India as the Chair of the organisation for 2024 as India is the world’s largest consumer and second largest producer of sugar.

In Jharkhand, seven members of the proscribed Tritiya Sammelan Prastuti Committee (TSPC), a splinter group of CPI (Maoist), were arrested in Latehar district of the state. All of them were arrested from Ichabar under Sadar police station of the area. Superintendent of Police, Anjani Anjan said two country-made handguns, six cartridges, four mobile phones, 5,000 rupees in cash, three motorcycles and some documents were recovered from their possession. All the arrested persons were sent to jail.

India concluded their campaign at the Under-17 Asian Wrestling Championships in Amman, Jordan on a resounding note. The young Indian contingent clinched a total of 11 medals, including four gold, two silver, and five bronze medals.
Women wrestlers grabbed all the four gold medals. Dipanshi in 46 kg, Muskan in 53 kg, Rajnita in 61 kg and Mansi Lather in 69 kg delivered stellar performances in their respective weight categories to clinch the yellow metal.

Tamil Nadu Government will establish three permanent disaster rescue and relief centres in Chennai and its suburbs at a cost of 36 Crore rupees. The Minister for revenue and disaster management KKSSR Ramachandran announced this in the Assembly yesterday. Two multipurpose relief centres would be established in Tuticorin at a cost of 17 Crore rupees. The Minister said that heat waves would be declared a natural disaster. He also said the permanent shelters in Chennai and suburbs would house search and rescue equipment including boats and vehicles with essential commodities would be stocked in these centres.

A city hospital performed Tamil Nadu’s first arthroscopy surgery using synthetic ligaments. The patient, a 23 year old software professional E.Manikandan, underwent the procedure to treat a severe knee injury suffered in a road accident three months prior. He is recovering well and will be discharged in a week. Surgeons at Rela Hospital initially stabilised Manikandan’s fractured pelvis and repaired other damaged knee ligaments and nerves. Dr.Ilankumaran Kaliyamoorthy CEO of the hospital said unlike auto grafts which require harvesting ligaments from the patient’s own body, or allografts, which use donor ligaments, synthetic ligaments eliminate the need for additional surgeries and prolonged rehabilitation periods.

Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot described Sanskrit as the soul of India and a vital link between our past and present. He was speaking during the foundation day celebrations of Karnataka Sanskrit University in Bengaluru yesterday. The Governor highlighted the integral role of Sanskrit in our culture and its pervasive importance across various fields. He explained that Sanskrit is the world’s oldest living language, encompassing a vast body of knowledge in poetry, logic, grammer, philosophy, aesthetics, science, technology, mathematics and so on. During the event the Governor released five books in Sanskrit published by the University. Governor Gehlot expressed confidence that these books would serve as valuable resources for students and enhance the knowledge of the general public. He also presented the Vijaya Vaijayanti award for the winners of 61st All India Shastra Competition.

दिल्ली में जारी जल संकट के बीच कल दिल्ली सरकार के मंत्रियों ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी को पत्र लिखकर, हरियाणा से दिल्ली को पानी दिलाने का आग्रह किया। इसके अलावा मंत्रियों ने उपराज्यपाल विनय कुमार सक्सेना से भी अपील की है कि वे उनके साथ वजीराबाद बैराज का दौरा करें ताकि स्पष्ट हो सके कि हरियाणा सरकार दिल्ली को कितना पानी दे रही है। कल एक प्रेसवार्ता में मंत्री गोपाल राय ने बताया कि सभी मंत्रियों ने प्रधानमंत्री को पत्र भेज कर हरियाणा की वजह से दिल्ली में पैदा जल संकट मामले में दखल करने का निवेदन किया है। उन्होंने कहा कि उनकी पार्टी के नेताओं ने उपराज्यपाल विनय कुमार सक्सेना से भी मुलाकात की थी। इस दौरान श्री सक्सेना ने बताया था कि हरियाणा सरकार, दिल्ली को पूरा पानी दे रही है, लेकिन हरियाणा से दिल्ली को सौ एम जी डी पानी कम मिल रहा है, जिस वजह से वजीराबाद में यमुना नदी सूख चुकी है। मंत्री गोपाल राय ने आगे कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री मोदी, दिल्ली के उपराज्यपाल और हरियाणा सरकार से आग्रह है कि वे दिल्ली के कोटे का पूरा पानी दिलायें।

राजधानी में जल संकट, सफाई व्यवस्था और जलभराव की समस्याओं से लोगों को हो रही दिक्कतों को लेकर कांग्रेस ने दिल्ली सरकार को विफल बताया है। प्रदेश कांग्रेस के अध्यक्ष देवेन्द्र यादव ने कहा कि दिल्ली की जनता भीषण गर्मी के बीच पानी की किल्लत से जूझ रही है। वहीं, लोगों को मानसून के आने ले पहले ही उनके क्षेत्रों में जल भराव होने का डर है।

उधर, दिल्ली में जारी जल मंत्री आतिशी के पानी सत्याग्रह को भाजपा ने विफल बताया है। दिल्ली भाजपा अध्यक्ष वीरेन्द्र सचदेवा ने कहा है कि आम आदमी पार्टी अपने ही बनाये अनिश्चितकालीन सत्याग्रह के जाल में फंस गई है। उन्होंने कहा कि कल अनशन स्थल पर हुई मंत्रियों की बैठक से साफ है कि आम आदमी पार्टी अब सत्याग्रह को खत्म करने के बहाने ढूंढ रही है।

उत्तर रेलवे ने बताया है कि दिल्ली डिवीजन पर यातायात बाधित होने के कारण आज कुछ रेलगाड़ियों की सेवाओं में परिवर्तन किया गया है। नई दिल्ली से रोहतक के बीच चलने वाली रेलगाड़ी संख्या- 1 4 3 2 3 आज बहादुरगढ़ रेलवे स्टेशन पर ही समाप्त होगी। इसके अलावा रेलगाड़ी संख्या- 1 4 3 2 4 रोहतक- नई दिल्ली, बहादुरगढ़ रेलवे स्टेशन से शुरु होगी। यह रेलगाड़ी दोनों दिशाओं में बहादुरगढ़ और रोहतक के बीच आंशिक रूप से रद्द रहेगी।

Today, we are celebrating International Day of the Seafarer. It is an annual celebration organised by the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) to recognize the unique contribution made by seafarers from all over the world to international seaborne trade, the world economy and civil society as a whole.

Vitiligo occurs when pigment-producing cells stop functioning or die, and the loss of color can affect any part of the body, including the mouth, hair, and eyes. It is more noticeable in people with darker skin. The World Vitiligo Day, observed on June 25, is an initiative aimed to build global awareness about vitiligo. Vitiligo occurs in 1-2% of the population worldwide; a change of color in the skin creating a variety of patterns on the skin from the loss of pigment. Vitiligo is often called a disease instead of a disorder and that can have a significant negative social and/or psychological impact on patients, in part because of numerous misconceptions still present in large parts of the world.
The idea of a World Vitiligo Day was first nursed by Steve Haragadon, the founder of the Vitiligo Friends network, and then developed and finalized by Ogo Maduewesi, a Nigerian vitiligo patient who is the founder and Executive Director of the Vitiligo Support and Awareness Foundation (VITSAF). In her words, “World Vitiligo Day is a day to create extensive awareness on vitiligo and a day dedicated to all living with vitiligo globally”. The first World Vitiligo Day (also defined as “Vitiligo Awareness Day” or “Vitiligo Purple Fun day”, from the color chosen as Vitiligo Awareness Color) was observed on June 25, 2011. The choice of June 25 as World Vitiligo Day is a memorial to musical artist Michael Jackson, who suffered from vitiligo from the early 1980s until his death, which occurred on June 25, 2009.

सुचेता कृपलानी अथवा ‘सुचेता मज़ूमदार’ (अंग्रेज़ी: Sucheta Kriplani, जन्म- 25 जून, 1908, अम्बाला; मृत्यु- 1 दिसंबर, 1974) प्रसिद्ध भारतीय स्वतंत्रता सेनानी एवं राजनीतिज्ञ थीं। ये उत्तर प्रदेश की चौथी और भारत की प्रथम महिला मुख्यमंत्री थीं। भारत के संविधान को मूल रूप देने वाली समिति में 15 महिलाएं भी शामिल थीं। इन्होंने संविधान के साथ भारतीय समाज के निर्माण में भी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई। सुचेता कृपलानी इन्हीं में से एक थीं।

कैप्टन मनोज कुमार पांडेय (अंग्रेज़ी: Captain Manoj Kumar Pandey, जन्म: 25 जून, 1975; बलिदान: 3 जुलाई, 1999) परमवीर चक्र से सम्मानित भारतीय सैनिक है। इन्हें यह सम्मान सन 1999 में मरणोपरांत मिला। पाकिस्तान के साथ कारगिल का युद्ध बहुत से कारणों से विशेष कहा जाता है। एक तो यह युद्ध बेहद कठिन और ऊँची चोटियों पर लड़ा गया,जो बर्फ से ढकी और दुर्गम थीं, साथ ही यह युद्ध पाकिस्तान की लम्बी तैयारी का नतीजा था जिसकी योजना उसके मन में बरसों से पल रही थीं। इसी युद्ध के कठिन मोर्चों में एक मोर्चा खालूबार का था जिसको फ़तह करने के लिए कमर कस कर कैप्टन मनोज कुमार पांडे अपनी 1/11 गोरखा राइफल्स की अगुवाई करते हुए दुश्मन से जूझ गई और जीत कर ही माने। भले ही, इस कोशिश में उन्हें अपने प्राणों का बलिदान देना पड़ा। मनोज कुमार पांडेय को लम्बे समय तक 19700 फीट ऊँची ‘पहलवान चौकी’ पर डटे रहने का मौका मिला, जहाँ इन्होंने पूरी हिम्मत और जोश के साथ काम किया।

सतीश शाह (अंग्रेज़ी: Satish Shah; जन्म- 25 जून, 1961, मुंबई) भारत के प्रसिद्ध हास्य अभिनेता हैं। इन्होंने मराठी और हिंदी फ़िल्मों में अभिनय किया हैं। सतीश ने अपने करियर की शुरूआत वर्ष 1978 में अरविंद देसाई की फिल्म ‘अजीब दास्तां’ से की। वर्ष 1983 में आई फिल्म “जाने भी दो यारों” में सतीश ने नगर निगम आयुक्त डी मेलो की भूमिका निभायी जिसको लेकर उनकी काफ़ी तारीफ हुई।

अब जिनके बारे में मैं जानकारी देने जा रहा हूँ ना अनीता वो हिंदी फिल्म इंडस्ट्री में आज भी एक बहुत बड़ा नाम है! मदन मोहन (अंग्रेज़ी: Madan Mohan, जन्म- 25 जून, 1924, बगदाद, इराक; मृत्यु- 14 जुलाई, 1975, मुम्बई, महाराष्ट्र) मदन मोहन 1950, 1960 और 1970 के दशक में बॉलीवुड फ़िल्म संगीत के ख्यातिप्राप्त निर्देशक थे यानि हिन्दी फ़िल्मों के एक प्रसिद्ध संगीतकार थे। अपनी गजलों के लिए प्रसिद्ध इस संगीतकार का पूरा नाम ‘मदन मोहन कोहली’ था। अपनी युवावस्था में वे एक सैनिक थे। बाद में संगीत के प्रति अपने झुकाव के कारण आकाशवाणी से जुड़ गए। तलत महमूद तथा लता मंगेशकर से उन्होंने कई यादगार गज़लें गंवाईं, तो फिर चलते चलते सुन लेते हैं मदन मोहन साहब की ही स्वरबद्ध की हुई ये यादगार रचना – (गीत…माय री मैं कासे कहूं ….)
