प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने कहा है कि जन विश्वास (प्रावधान संशोधन) विधेयक 2026 के पारित होने से देश में जीवन यापन और व्यापार सुगमता को बढ़ावा मिलेगा। सोशल मीडिया पोस्ट में प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि यह विधेयक विश्वास पर आधारित ढांचे को मजबूत करता है।
संसद ने जन विश्वास (प्रावधान संशोधन) विधेयक 2026 पारित कर दिया है। राज्यसभा ने इसे कल मंजूरी दी थी। लोकसभा ने इस विधेयक को बुधवार को पारित कर दिया था।
यह विधेयक जीवन यापन और व्यापार सुगमता के लिए विश्वास पर आधारित शासन को और मजबूत करने के लिए कुछ कानूनों में संशोधन करता है, ताकि कुछ अपराधों को गंभीर अपराध की श्रेणी से बाहर किया जा सके और उन्हें तर्कसंगत बनाया जा सके। विधेयक छोटे अपराधों को उसके अनुपात में जुर्माने और दंड को संशोधित करने जैसे उपाय लागू करेगा। इसमें 23 मंत्रालयों द्वारा प्रशासित 79 केंद्रीय अधिनियमों में संशोधन का प्रस्ताव है। कुल 784 प्रावधानों में संशोधन प्रस्तावित है। इनमें से 717 प्रावधानों को व्यापार करने में सुगमता को बढ़ावा देने के लिए अपराध की श्रेणी से बाहर किया जा रहा है, और 67 प्रावधानों को जीवन यापन में सुगमता लाने के लिए प्रस्तावित किया जा रहा है।

United Nations Secretary General António Guterres has called for a peaceful settlement to the West Asia conflict. He said that it is high time for the United States and Israel to stop the war that is inflicting immense human suffering and triggering devastating economic consequences. He asked Iran to stop attacking neighbouring nations. Speaking to the press outside the Security Council in New York, the UN chief said every day this war continues, human suffering grows. Emphasising that diplomatic efforts are underway to find a peaceful path forward, Mr Guterres said disputes must be settled peacefully and sovereignty and territorial integrity of all Member States must be respected. He said that world is on the edge of a wider war that would engulf the whole West Asia with dramatic impacts around the globe.

Joint Entrance Examination- JEE (Main) 2026 Session 2 has commenced from yesterday at around 566 examination centres across India and outside. Subsequent exams are scheduled to be held on 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th of this month at around 566 examination centres across 304 cities nationwide and 14 cities outside India. The National Testing Agency- NTA is conducting the exam in Computer-Based Test mode for around 11 lakh 23 thousand candidates. NTA in a statement informed that it has already implemented stringent security protocols to ensure a transparent and incident-free conduct of the exams as JEE Main being a high-stakes examination.
Meanwhile, the Embassy of India in Saudi Arabia through a social media post informed that the arrangements are in place to ensure a smooth and seamless conduct of the exams. The Embassy added that full support to the National Testing Agency and the designated Examination Centre is being ensured to facilitate the process and assist the candidates throughout.

The Khelo India Tribal Games being held in Chhattisgarh are concluding today. The closing ceremony will be held this evening in Raipur, with Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai as the Chief Guest. On the occasion, international boxer Mary Kom and noted footballer Bhaichung Bhutia will also be present as special guests. Under the competition, the men’s football final will be played today between Chhattisgarh and West Bengal. In the medal tally, Karnataka is leading with 23 gold medals, followed by Odisha with 20 gold medals in second place, and Jharkhand in third position with 12 gold medals.

दिल्ली पुलिस की अपराध शाखा ने कल डाबरी क्षेत्र से अवैध एलपीजी सिलेंडर भंडारण और रिफिलिंग रैकेट का भंडाफोड़ कर एक व्यक्ति को गिरफ्तार किया। पुलिस ने बताया कि आरोपी के पास से 17 सिलेंडर बरामद किए गए। पुलिस के अनुसार मामले में आगे की जांच जारी है।

The Election Commission has ordered the transfer of Tamil Nadu’s director general of Police G. Venkataraman and appointed Sandeep Rai Rathore as the Director General of Police ahead of the assembly polls. The Commission effected changes in key police postings across the state. Sanjay Kumar, a 1997 batch IPS Officer has been posted as Tambaram City Police Commissioner, Abhishek Diskhit has been appointed as Madurai City Police Commissioner and R.V. Ramya Bharathi, a 2008 IPS officer has been posted as Inspector General of Police – West Zone based in Coimbatore. The officers have been directed to assume charge and report today at 11 AM.

बम्बई उच्च न्यायालय ने महाराष्ट्र सरकार को मुस्लिम समुदाय के लिए शिक्षा और नौकरियों में पांच प्रतिशत आरक्षण रद्द करने के फैसले को चुनौती देने वाली याचिका पर हलफनामा दाखिल करने का निर्देश दिया है। न्यायालय अधिवक्ता सैयद एजाज अब्बास नकवी द्वारा दायर याचिका पर सुनवाई कर रहा था, जिसमें 17 फरवरी को जारी सरकारी संकल्प-जीआर को चुनौती दी गई थी। इसके अंतर्गत 2014 के उस अध्यादेश को वापस ले लिया गया था जिसमें मुस्लिम समुदाय को पांच प्रतिशत आरक्षण दिया गया था। याचिकाकर्ता ने सरकार के इस कदम को संविधान का उल्लंघन और मुस्लिम समुदाय के हितों के खिलाफ बताते हुए दावा किया कि आरक्षण खत्म करने के सरकार के फैसले के पीछे कोई तर्क नहीं है। गुरुवार को सुनवाई के दौरान, न्यायाधीश आर.आई. छागला और न्यायाधीश अद्वैत सेठना की पीठ ने राज्य सरकार को तीन सप्ताह के भीतर जवाब दाखिल करने को कहा और मामले की अगली सुनवाई 4 मई को तय की।

भारतीय रिज़र्व बैंक-आरबीआई ने अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डों के प्रस्थान हॉल में स्थित विदेशी मुद्रा विनिमय काउंटरों पर निवासियों को भारतीय रुपये के नोट बदलने की अनुमति देने का निर्णय लिया है। गुरुवार को मुंबई से जारी एक अधिसूचना में आरबीआई ने कहा कि हवाई अड्डों पर मुद्रा विनिमय गतिविधियों को नियंत्रित करने वाले मौजूदा ढांचे की समीक्षा के बाद यह सुविधा अनिवासियों के साथ-साथ निवासियों के लिए भी विस्तारित की जा रही है। इसके अनुसार यात्री आव्रजन या सीमा शुल्क डेस्क के आगे ड्यूटी-फ्री एरिया या सिक्योरिटी होल्ड एरिया में स्थापित विदेशी मुद्रा काउंटरों से भारतीय रुपये के नोट बदल सकेंगे। आरबीआई ने कहा कि मुद्रा विनिमय गतिविधियों पर मास्टर दिशा-निर्देश में तदनुसार संशोधन किया जा रहा है।

The program aims to nurture nearly 60 startups over three years through incubation, R&D support, and market access.

State Revenue, Housing, and Information Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy officially launched the Integrated Bhoo-Bharati portal during a Grama Sabha at Mithayipally in Rangareddy district. This ambitious project consolidates land, survey, and registration services into a single digital platform to ensure transparent and accessible governance.
The portal is currently being piloted in five mandals, including Amanagal and Kusumanchi. After a 45-day evaluation period, it will expand to one mandal in every district, eventually covering 70 villages per district with comprehensive surveys. A key feature includes assigning a unique “Bhoo-Dhaar” number to every land parcel.
The Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to resolving long-pending “Sadabainama” issues, noting that new guidelines will benefit those in possession of lands, including areas recently merged into municipalities.

Marlon Brando Jr. (April 3, 1924 – July 1, 2004) was an American actor. Widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential performers in the history of cinema, he has received numerous accolades, including two Academy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, three BAFTAs, a Cannes Film Festival Award, and a Primetime Emmy Award. Brando is credited with being one of the first actors to bring the Stanislavski system of acting and method acting to mainstream audiences.
Brando came under the influence of Stella Adler and Stanislavski’s system in the 1940s. He began his career on stage, where he was lauded for adeptly interpreting his characters. He made his Broadway debut in the play I Remember Mama (1944) and won Theater World Awards for his performances in Candida and Truckline Cafe (1946).

आज जयंती है सैम मानेकशॉ की। उनका पूरा नाम ‘सैम होर्मूसजी फ़्रेमजी जमशेदजी मानेकशॉ’ है l उनका जन्म: 3 अप्रैल 1914 को अमृतसर, पंजाब में हुआ था। (मृत्यु: 27 जून 2008) वे भ्भारतीय सेना अध्यक्ष थे जिनके नेतृत्व में भारत ने सन् 1971 में हुए भारत-पाकिस्तान युद्ध में विजय प्राप्त किया था जिसके परिणामस्वरूप बांग्लादेश का जन्म हुआ था। अदम्य साहस और युद्धकौशल के लिए मशहूर, भारतीय सेना के इतिहास में स्वर्णिम दस्तखत करने वाले सबसे ज्यादा चर्चित और कुशल सैनिक कमांडर पद्म भूषण, पद्म विभूषण सैम मानेकशॉ भारत के पहले ‘फ़ील्ड मार्शल’ थे। अपने 40 साल के सैनिक जीवन में उन्होंने दूसरे विश्व युद्ध के अलावा चीन और पाकिस्तान के साथ हुए तीनों युद्धों में भी भाग लिया था। उनके दोस्त उन्हें प्यार से ‘सैम बहादुर’ कहकर बुलाते थे।

Manekshaw was awarded the Padma Bhushan, the third highest Indian civilian award, in 1968 for responding to the insurgencies in Nagaland and Mizoram. Manekshaw became the seventh chief of army staff in 1969. Under his command, Indian forces providing them with arms and ammunitions to fight against the strong regular army of Pakistan in the Bangladesh-Pakistani War of 1971, which led to the Independence of Bangladesh in December 1971. He was awarded the Padma Vibhushan, the second highest civilian award of India, in 1972 for his services to the nation. Manekshaw was promoted to the rank of field marshal in January 1973, the first of the only two officers to be ever promoted to the post, second being K.M. Carriappa. He retired on 15 January 1973 (also celebrated as Army Day). He died on 27 June 2008, at the age of 94, due to respiratory problems.

आज जयंती है साहित्यकार मन्नू भंडारी की। उनका जन्म: 3 अप्रैल, 1931 को भानपुर नगर, मध्य प्रदेश में हुआ था। वे हिंदी की आधुनिक कहानीकार और उपन्यासकार हैं। मन्नू भंडारी को श्रेष्ठ लेखिका होने का गौरव हासिल है। मन्नू भंडारी ने कहानी और उपन्यास दोनों विधाओं में कलम चलाई है। उनका उपन्यास ‘एक इंच मुस्कान’ पढ़े-लिखे और आधुनिकता पसंद लोगों की दुखभरी प्रेमगाथा है। उनके उपन्यास ‘आपका बंटी’ को हिंदी के सफलतम उपन्यासों की कतार में रखा जाता है। इनकी ‘यही सच है’ कृति पर आधारित ‘रजनीगंधा फ़िल्म’ ने बॉक्स ऑफिस पर खूब धूम मचाई थी।
