प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी आज असम के नामरूप में 10 हजार 600 करोड़ रुपये की अमोनिया-यूरिया उर्वरक परियोजना के भूमि-पूजन कार्यक्रम में भाग लेंगे। इस अवसर पर वे एक जनसभा को भी संबोधित करेंगे। राज्य के अपने दौरे के दूसरे दिन श्री मोदी ब्रह्मपुत्र नदी पर क्रूज जहाज की सवारी करते हुए ‘परीक्षा पे चर्चा’ कार्यक्रम के तहत 25 स्कूली छात्रों से बातचीत भी करेंगे। इसके बाद प्रधानमंत्री गुवाहाटी के पश्चिम बोरागाँव में असम आंदोलन के 860 शहीदों की स्मृति में नवनिर्मित शहीद स्मारक क्षेत्र का दौरा करेंगे।
कल प्रधानमंत्री ने गुवाहाटी के लोकप्रिया गोपीनाथ बरदोलोई अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे पर अत्याधुनिक नए टर्मिनल भवन का उद्घाटन किया। उन्होंने हवाई अड्डे पर असम के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री गोपीनाथ बरदोलोई की प्रतिमा का भी अनावरण किया। लगभग 1 लाख 40 हजार वर्ग मीटर में फैला यह नया टर्मिनल भवन प्रति वर्ष 1 करोड़ तीस लाख यात्रियों की क्षमाता के लिए डिज़ाइन किया गया है। इस अवसर पर एक जनसभा को संबोधित करते हुए श्री मोदी ने कहा कि केंद्र सरकार असम के विकास के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है। उन्होंने कहा कि पिछले 11 वर्षों में राज्य में कई ऐतिहासिक आधारभूत परियोजनाएं शुरू की गईं और पूरी की गईं।

मंत्रालय के अनुसार, साइबर अपराधी बिना किसी सत्यापन के पेयरिंग कोड का इस्तेमाल करके व्हाट्सऐप के डिवाइस-लिंकिंग फीचर के जरिए अकाउंट को हैक कर रहे हैं। यह धोखाधड़ी आमतौर पर तब शुरू होती है जब आपको किसी जानकार नंबर से फोटो भेजा जाता है और इसे देखने की अपील का मैसेज आता है। इस मैसेज में एक लिंक होता है, जो फेसबुक जैसे प्रीव्यू के साथ आता है और आगे फोन नंबर से जुड़ी एक वेरिफिकेशन प्रक्रिया की ओर ले जाता है।
मंत्रालय ने बताया कि इस तरीके से साइबर अपराधी को बिना पासवर्ड या सिम स्वैप किए पीड़ित के व्हाट्सऐप अकाउंट का पूरा एक्सेस मिल जाता है। मंत्रालय ने लोगों से संदिग्ध लिंक पर क्लिक नहीं करने के साथ-साथ बाहरी साइटों पर कभी भी अपना फोन नंबर दर्ज नहीं करने की सलाह दी है।

Chief Justice of India Justice Surya Kant has said that all constitutional institutions must work in the spirit of the Constitution to ensure that court decisions are made accessible to citizens in their own languages. Addressing the 33rd annual programme of the Hindi Seva Nidhi Trust in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh, he said there was an expectation that constitutional provisions relating to language would be implemented across the country. While English remains the official language of the apex court as per constitutional and legal provisions, Justice Kant said significant steps had already been taken to bridge the language gap. He said that they have already started translating Supreme Court judgments into 16 languages and any citizen of the country should be able to read an authenticated translated copy in the language of his or her state.

Voice and data services in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and the rest of Tamil Nadu have been fully restored, while services in Chennai are partially restored and repair work is continuing. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has announced that the Government will enact a new law to curb hate speech against any religion or community, including acts of instigation and provocation that could trigger disturbances. The proposed legislation will be tabled in the state assembly during the budget session. Speaking at the state-organised Christmas celebrations in Hyderabad last evening, the chief minister said the Act will focus on curbing religious hatred. He also said the existing laws will also be amended to ensure stringent punishment for offenders who abuse other religions.

दिल्ली सरकार ने वायु प्रदूषण पर अंकुश लगाने के उद्देश्य से ग्रैप-4 के तहत अपना अभियान तेज कर दिया है। राज्य के पर्यावरण मंत्री मंज़िंदर सिंह सिरसा ने प्रदूषण फैलाने वाले उद्योगों और निर्माण स्थलों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की चेतावनी दी है। राज्य सरकार ने एक बयान में कहा कि इसका अनुपालन न करने वाले कुल 612 उद्योगों को बंद कर दिया गया है और तीन दिनों में एक लाख से अधिक प्रदूषण नियंत्रण प्रमाण पत्र जारी किए गए हैं। इस दौरान तीन हजार से अधिक निरीक्षण किए गए 12 हजार चालान काटे गए और 16 हजार से अधिक वाहनों की जांच की गई। सरकार ने क्षेत्रीय इंजीनियरों और जिलाधिकारियों को निगरानी बनाए रखने का निर्देश भी दिया।

महाराष्ट्र के 23 नगर परिषदों और नगर पंचायतों में अध्यक्ष और सदस्यों के पदों के लिए मतदान कल शाम पांच बजकर 30 मिनट पर संपन्न हो गया। इसके अलावा इन स्थानीय निकायों में 143 खाली सदस्य पदों के लिए भी वोट डाले गए।
मतदान कल सुबह सात बजकर 30 मिनट पर शुरू हुआ। दोपहर तक लगभग 47 प्रतिशत मतदाताओं ने अपने मताधिकार का इस्तेमाल किया। राज्य चुनाव आयोग के अनुसार, अंतिम मतदान प्रतिशत आज जारी किया जाएगा। आयोग ने बताया कि 2 दिसंबर को हुए पहले चरण सहित कुल 286 नगर परिषदों और नगर पंचायतों के मतों की गिनती आज सुबह 10 बजे से शुरू होगी।

ठाकुर प्यारेलाल सिंह (अंग्रेज़ी: Thakur Pyarelal Singh ; जन्म- 21 दिसम्बर, 1891, राजनांदगांव, छत्तीसगढ़; मृत्यु- 22 अक्टूबर, 1954) छत्तीसगढ़ में ‘श्रमिक आन्दोलन’ के सूत्रधार तथा ‘सहकारिता आन्दोलन’ के प्रणेता थे। सन 1920 में राजनांदगांव में मिल मज़दूरों ने हड़ताल की थी, जो 37 से भी अधिक दिनों तक चली थी और मिल अधिकारियों को मज़दूरों की सभी मांगें मंजूर करनी पड़ी थीं। वह हड़ताल ठाकुर प्यारेलाल के नेतृत्व में हुई थी। ठाकुर प्यारेलाल 1920 में पहली बार महात्मा गाँधी के संपर्क में आए थे। असहयोग आन्दोलन एवं सत्याग्रह आन्दोलन में उन्होंने सक्रिय भाग लिया तथा गिरफ़्तार होकर जेल भी गए। वर्ष 1945 में छत्तीसगढ़ के बुनकरों को संगठित करने के लिए उनके नेतृत्व में ‘छत्तीसगढ़ बुनकर सहकारी संघ’ की स्थापना हुई थी। प्रवासी छत्तीसगढ़ियों को शोषण एवं अत्याचार से मुक्त कराने की दिशा में वे सदा सक्रिय रहे।

अमीन सयानी (अंग्रेज़ी: Ameen Sayani, जन्म- 21 दिसम्बर, 1932; मृत्यु- 20 फ़रवरी, 2024) को ‘आवाज़ के जादूगर’ और रेडियो के इतिहास में पहले जॉकी के रूप में जाना जाता था। रेडियो जॉकी के रूप में वे विश्व के श्रेष्ठ जॉकी माने जाते थे। ‘गीतमाला’ प्रोग्राम के जरिए सुनी गई अमीन सयानी की आवाज़ ‘बहनों और भाइयो’ आम लोगों को काफ़ी लम्बे समय तक गुदगुदाती रही। करीब 46 वर्ष तक रेडियो सीलोन के जरिए अमीन सयानी की प्रस्तुति और बाद में विविध भारती पर इसके प्रसारण को लोग आज भी याद करते हैं।
अमीन सयानी देश के ऐसे पहले रेडियो स्टार रहे, जिनका बड़े-बड़े फिल्म स्टार भी सम्मान करते थे। एक जमाना था जब अपने ‘बिनाका गीतमाला’ कार्यक्रम के माध्यम से आवाज के इस शहंशाह ने अपने नाम और काम की धूम मचा दी थी। रेडियो सुनने का शौक रखने वालों के कानों में आज भी अमीन सयानी की आवाज में ‘नमस्कार बहनों और भाइयो, मैं आपका दोस्त अमीन सयानी बोल रहा हूं’ गूंजता है। कार्यक्रम ‘बिनाका गीतमाला’ ने उन्हें काफी लोकप्रियता दिलाई थी। उन्हें बचपन से ही लिखने का शौक था और महज 13 वर्ष की उम्र में उन्होंने अपनी मां की पाक्षिक पत्रिका ‘रहबर’ के लिए लिखना शुरू कर दिया था। यही वह उम्र थी, जब अमीन सयानी अंग्रेजी भाषा में एक कुशल प्रस्तोता बन गए थे और उन्होंने आकाशवाणी, मुंबई की अंग्रेजी सेवा में बच्चों के कार्यक्रमों में भाग लेना शुरू कर दिया था।
