केंद्रीय सहकारिता मंत्री अमित शाह आज नई दिल्ली में भारत के पहले सहकारी राइड-हेलिंग प्लेटफॉर्म भारत टैक्सी का शुभारंभ करेंगे। यह सहकारी क्षेत्र को मजबूत करने और देश में समावेशी, नागरिक-केंद्रित परिवहन को बढ़ावा देने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम होगा। सहकारिता मंत्रालय ने कहा है कि यह प्लेटफॉर्म सारथी कहे जाने वाले चालकों को स्वामित्व, संचालन और मूल्य सृजन के केंद्र में रखेगा।
भारत टैक्सी शून्य कमीशन और बिना किसी अतिरिक्त शुल्क के मूल्य निर्धारण मॉडल पर काम करेगा, जिसमें चालकों को सीधा लाभ होगा। मंत्रालय ने बताया कि भारत टैक्सी स्वास्थ्य बीमा, दुर्घटना बीमा, सेवानिवृत्ति बचत और एक समर्पित चालक सहायता प्रणाली के माध्यम से सामाजिक सुरक्षा को प्राथमिकता देता है। मंत्रालय ने कहा कि बाइक दीदी जैसी पहल लागू की जा रही हैं, जिसके अंतर्गत अब तक एक सौ पचास से अधिक महिला चालक भारत टैक्सी से जुड़ चुकी हैं।

President Droupadi Murmu, who is on a visit to her home district Mayurbhanj in Odisha, will visit the Similipal Tiger Reserve this evening. On the fifth day of her six-day tour of the state, she will offer prayers at the Shree Jagannath Temple in Rairangpur this morning.
Later in the day, she is scheduled to visit her native village Pahadpur, where she will interact with students of the SLS Memorial School, established in memory of her late husband and sons. In the evening, President Murmu will proceed to the Similipal Tiger Reserve and stay overnight at the national park to experience its rich biodiversity.
During her visit, she is scheduled to interact with tribal women and youth groups inside the reserve. The President will return to Bhubaneswar tomorrow to attend the ‘Black Swan Summit India’ organised by the Odisha government. The Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) six-member Monetary Policy Committee, headed by Governor Sanjay Malhotra, began its bi-monthly meeting yesterday to deliberate on interest rates. The rate decision will be announced tomorrow morning.
Most economists expect the RBI to maintain status quo, noting that the central bank has already cut the repo rate by 125 basis points since early 2025 and inflation remains well below the 4 per cent target.

More than 200 publishers have arrived at the festival with books in English, Konkani, Marathi, and Hindi. Workshops for children and musical programs are also being organized. The fair will remain open until February 8, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with a 10% discount available on all books.
Dr. Kiran Thakur, Chief Patron of the Goa Book Festival stated that the festival will provide a distinct and lasting literary identity to the state. White Knight Corps in its post on ‘X’ said that the Operation Trashi-I is underway to eliminate terrorists and one of them has been killed. Our correspondent reports that joint teams of security forces are engaged in the operation in the Dichad area of Chatroo in Kishtwar district.
Joint teams of security forces, including two Para Special Forces, are engaged in the operation. The gunfight erupted after the forces launched a cordon-and-search operation following specific intelligence inputs about the presence of terrorists in the area.

The death of several crows in Chennai last month has now been attributed to the H5NI avian influenza. The Tamilnadu Animal Husbandry department’s animal disease intelligence unit gathered the samples from the city during the fourth week of last month and sent them to the ICAR-NIHAS lab in Bhopal. Results verified the highly pathogenic H5NI strain known for its zoonotic potential. The Union Ministry of fisheries, animal husbandry and dairying has written to Tamilnadu Chief Secretary confirming the H5NI spread and urging the State to follow up on strengthening bio security and disinfection. It has urged the civic bodies to carry out thorough disinfection in the entire area where bird mortality has been reported.

Officers of the Airport Customs Chennai intercepted an Indian male passenger from Dubai by Air India flight on 3rd of this month. On examination, three balls of gold paste were recovered from him since he had concealed it inside his body. The gold paste weighed 940gms of 24k gold valued at Rs. 1.37 Crore. In another incident CISF Chennai detected suspicious images in the hand baggage of an Indian female passenger bound for Dubai on the 2nd of this month. Upon detailed examination US dollars and Euro currency notes valued at Rs. 2.73 Crore were recovered.

मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता ने कहा है कि दिल्ली मेट्रो नेटवर्क के अंतर्गत मिस्ट स्प्रे सिस्टम और एंटी-स्मॉग गन लगाने का लक्ष्य निर्धारित समय से पहले हासिल कर लिया गया है। श्रीमती गुप्ता ने बताया कि सभी 143 एलिवेटेड मेट्रो स्टेशनों पर राजधानी को स्वच्छ और प्रदूषण-मुक्त बनाने की दिशा में यह सरकार का यह महत्वपूर्ण कदम है। उन्होंने बताया कि इस व्यवस्था के अंतर्गत 89 ऑन-रोड और 54 ऑफ-रोड एलिवेटेड मेट्रो स्टेशन शामिल हैं। उन्होंने जानकारी दी कि अब तक 131 मिस्ट स्प्रे सिस्टम और 12 एंटी-स्मॉग गन स्थापित की जा चुकी हैं। श्रीमती गुप्ता ने कहा कि वायु प्रदूषण से निपटना सरकार की प्राथमिकता है और इसके लिए जमीनी स्तर पर ठोस कदम उठाए जा रहे हैं।

दिल्ली सरकार के उद्योग मंत्री मंजिंदर सिंह सिरसा ने कहा कि 2026-27 के केंद्रीय बजट में महिलाओं के लिए आवंटित बजट में 11 प्रतिशत की बढ़ोतरी की गई है। उन्होंने बताया कि हर शहर में गर्ल्स हॉस्टल खोलने के लिए 10 हजार करोड़ रुपये आवंटित किए गए हैं। नई दिल्ली में आयोजित एक संवाददाता सम्मेलन में श्री सिरसा ने कहा की यह बजट किसान, मजदूर, महिला, युवा, और उद्यमी समेत हर वर्ग को सशक्त बनाने पर केंद्रित है।

दिल्ली के स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्री पंकज कुमार सिंह ने कहा है कि दिल्ली सरकार कैंसर को लेकर जागरूकता फैलाने के साथ-साथ स्क्रीनिंग टेस्ट भी कराएगी। उन्होंने कहा कि इससे शुरुआती चरण में ही मरीजों का प्रभावी इलाज संभव हो पाएगा। दिल्ली राज्य कैंसर संस्थान द्वारा संचालित सीएपीएस कैंसर जागरूकता, रोकथाम और स्क्रीनिंग पहल के उद्घाटन के अवसर पर श्री सिंह ने कहा कि दिल्ली सरकार कैंसर से संबंधित पहलों पर काम कर रही है।
मंत्री पंकज कुमार सिंह ने बताया कि सरकार सर्वाइकल कैंसर के लिए टीकाकरण जल्द ही शुरू करने की योजना बना रही है। श्री सिंह ने कहा कि शहर में मोबाइल कैंसर वैन भी जल्द ही उपलब्ध कराई जाएगी।

15 सप्ताह की अवधि वाला यह ऑनलाइन कोर्स आठ मॉड्यूल में संचालित होगा, जिसमें प्रत्येक बैच में 50 सीट होंगी। कोर्स का उद्देश्य प्रतिभागियों को मेडिकल एआई सिस्टम के डिजाइन, मूल्यांकन और नैतिक उपयोग की समझ प्रदान करना है।

दिल्ली की वायु गुणवत्ता सुधारने के उद्देश्य से दिल्ली प्रदूषण नियंत्रण समिति- डीपीसीसी ने वायु गुणवत्ता प्रबंधन आयोग- सीएक्यूएम के निर्देशों का उल्लंघन करने वाले डीज़ल जनरेटर सेट के खिलाफ़ जांच अभियान चलाया। इस दौरान, 300 औद्योगिक और व्यावसायिक संस्थानों में लगे डीज़ल जनरेटर सेट की जांच की गई और 108 इकाइयों को सीलिंग मेमो तथा कारण बताओ नोटिस जारी किए गए। इस संबंध में पर्यावरण मंत्री मनजिंदर सिंह सिरसा ने कहा कि नियमों का पालन न करने वाली इकाइयों पर की गई यह कार्रवाई स्पष्ट संदेश देती है कि वायु गुणवत्ता प्रबंधन आयोग के निर्देशों का उल्लंघन बिल्कुल भी बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जाएगा।
