आज थल सेना दिवस है। 15 जनवरी 1949 के बाद से ही भारतीय सेना ब्रिटिश सेना से पूरी तरह मुक्त हुई थी। इसलिए आज के दिन को थल सेना दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है। के. एम. करियप्पा भारतीय थल सेना के पहले कमांडर-इन-चीफ बने थे। देश की सीमाओं की रक्षा के लिए अपने प्राणों की आहूति देने वाले वीर सपूतों को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करना ही थल सेना दिवस का मुख्य उद्देश्य है। हमारी सेना ने स्वतंत्रता प्राप्ति के बाद कितने ही मौकों पर अपने अद्भुत शौर्य और साहस का परिचय पेश किया है। पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ आपरेशन सिंदूर इसका नवीनतम और उत्कृष्ट उदाहरण है। ये सेना के जवान ही हैं जिनकी बदौलत हम अपने घरों में चैन की नींद सो पाते हैं। शत्-शत् नमन है मां भारती के ऐसे वीर सपूतों को। जय हिंद, जय हिंद की सेना….

The US State Department said that migrants from these countries take welfare from the American people at unacceptable rates and they often become public charges on the United States upon arrival. Devotees along with saints have flocked to the Ghats of holy rivers across the state since yesterday evening and taking bath on the occasion of Makar Sankranti once the auspicious timing started. This is also the Second important bathing festival of about one and a half month long Magh Mela, being held on the banks of Sangam, the confluence of rivers Ganga, Yamuna and mythical Saraswati in Prayagraj. From early morning Lakhs of devotees are taking bath at sangam and offering prayers. Magh mela administration, railways and transport department of the state have made elaborate arrangements for the pilgrims. for ensuring water availability in Ganga in Magh Mela daily 8000 cusec water being released from Kanpur’s Ganga Barrage. Tapping of all 81 drains falling in both rivers in Prayagraj has been done. Continuous monitoring of Ganga water is happening. Today Several dedicated religious programmes are being organized in magh mela area. Many ashram pandals will be also organizing traditional community lunch of rice feast -called Khicri. Chief Minister Yogi Aditynath performed special pooja and offered Khichri Prasad at Gorakhnath Math at Gorakhpur, after which the famous Khichri mela started here. पश्चिम बंगाल के स्वास्थ्य विभाग के अनुसार, निपाह वायरस से संक्रमित दोनों व्यक्तियों की हालत में कोई बदलाव नहीं आया है। एहतियाती कदम उठाते हुए, संक्रमित व्यक्तियों के संपर्क में आए दो और लोगों को निगरानी के लिए बेलेघाटा आई.डी. अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है। वहीं, दो नर्स फिलहाल बारासात के एक निजी अस्पताल में इलाज करा रही हैं। अस्पताल सूत्रों के अनुसार, उनकी हालत गंभीर है और एक नर्स कोमा में है। स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने 121 ऐसे व्यक्तियों की पहचान की है जिन्हें उच्च जोखिम या कम जोखिम वाले संपर्क के रूप में वर्गीकृत किया गया है।

The State Government has provided equal employment opportunities to the transgender community by inducting fifty transgender persons into the Tamil Nadu Home Guards. This initiative follows an announcement made in the latest State Budget. In the first phase, fifty transgender persons were selected, trained and appointed based on the recommendations of the Director General of Police and the Home Guards Commandant. Of the total inducted, five have been posted in Chennai, fifteen in Tambaram, ten in Avadi, seven in Madurai, seven in Coimbatore and six in Tiruchirappalli.

The University of Madras, in partnership with Samsung, will train five thousand students in artificial intelligence (AI), big data, the Internet of Things (IoT) and coding. The University launched the training programme, titled Samsung Innovation Campus, on 9th of this month. Ekansh Raj, Senior Manager, Electronics Sector Skill Council of India, said that the courses have been designed by Samsung’s global research and development team. He added that these programmes are offered in sixty three countries and the certificates awarded are globally recognised.

Makara Sankranthi, the second day of the three-day harvest festival, is being celebrated across Telangana with religious fervour and traditional gaiety. आज जयंती है प्रसिद्ध क्रांतिकारी और स्वतंत्रता सेनानी सैफुद्दीन किचलू की। सन 1919 में किचलू ने पंजाब में विरोधी राष्ट्र अधिनियम आन्दोलन की अगुवाई की। उन्होंने खिलाफत और असहयोग आन्दोलन में सक्रिय रूप में भाग लिया और जेल गये। रिहाई के बाद सैफ़ुद्दीन किचलू को ‘ऑल इण्डिया खिलाफत कमेटी’ का अध्यक्ष चुना गया। सन 1924 में सैफ़ुद्दीन किचलू को कांग्रेस का महासचिव चुना गया। सन 1929 में जब जवाहरलाल नेहरू के नेतृत्व में पूर्ण स्वराज्य का प्रस्ताव पारित किया गया तो उस समय उन्हें कांग्रेस की लाहौर समिति का सभापति बनाया गया। डॉ. किचलू विभाजन के सख्त खिलाफ थे। सैफ़ुद्दीन किचलू का 9 अक्टूबर, 1988 को दिल्ली में निधन हो गया।

A young irish lady singer Dolores O Riordan came into the alternative rock scene with her mighty talent of singing and writing songs fronted the famous band the cranberrys Dolores O’Riordan,Irish musician and singer played acoustic and electric guitar.. this brilliant artist died young at the age of 46 on 15 january 2018… After her death, the Cranberries released the Grammy-nominated album In the End (2019), featuring her final vocal recordings, and then disbanded.
