The PM-eBus Sewa scheme is a central government initiative launched in August 2023 to deploy 10,000 electric buses across 169 cities via a Public-Private Partnership model.

World leaders from twenty nations are scheduled to attend the India-AI Impact Summit being hosted by India from 16th to 20th of this month. They include President of France, Emmanuel Macron, Brazil President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, President of Spain, Pedro Sánchez Pérez-Castejón, President of Switzerland, Guy Parmelin, Netherlands Prime Minister Dick Schoof, UAE’s Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Prime Minister of Mauritius Dr Navinchandra Ramgoolam, Sri Lanka President Anura Kumara Disanayaka, Vice President of Seychelles, Sebastien Pillay and Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay.

External Affairs Ministry said in a statement that leaders from Bolivia, Croatia, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Guyana, Kazakhstan, Liechtenstein, Serbia, and Slovakia, are also set to participate in the Summit. Ministerial delegations from over 45 countries would be participating in the Summit. The UN Secretary General and Senior Officials from several International Organizations will also join the deliberations.

“By integrating frontier technologies, the Government of India is fulfilling its commitment to Universal Health Coverage—effectively bridging delivery gaps, elevating the standard of medical services and products, and ensuring affordable care for every citizen. Guided by the vision of ‘Welfare for All, Happiness for All’ (Sarvajana Hitaya, Sarvajana Sukhaya), the Union Cabinet launched the IndiaAI mission in March 2024 to advance inclusive development, strengthen governance, and improve public service delivery—including healthcare. Al is helping the Government of India address gaps in healthcare delivery, improve the quality of medical devices, services and drugs and make it more accessible and affordable. AI-Enabled Healthcare ecosystem is helping in early detection and screening, enhanced clinical decision support, providing remote care. Al-enabled tools within the National TB Elimination Programme have resulted in a 27 per cent decline in adverse TB outcomes and over 4,500 outbreak alerts. 282 million telemedicine consultations between April 2023 to November 2025 have helped 12 million patients through Al-recommended diagnoses. Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal has strongly rebutted the allegations made by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, terming it a stage-managed, artificial and fake narrative. Mr Goyal was responding to a video shared by Mr Gandhi regarding the India-US trade arrangement. In a social media post, Mr Goyal said that the Congress leader made the allegations alongside party activists who were posing as farmer representatives. He dismissed the claims as completely baseless and accused Mr Gandhi of attempting to mislead the country’s Annadatas. The Union Minister asserted that the interests of farmers have been fully safeguarded by the Government.

The  Vande Mataram Coastal Cyclothon–2026 by the CISF reached Chennai on last evening. The 6,553-kilometre national coastal outreach initiative was received with enthusiastic public participation at Marina Beach. The Cyclothon, flagged off virtually on 28th of last month by the Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Nityanand Rai from New Delhi, is being conducted simultaneously along the eastern and western coastlines of India under the theme “Surakshit Tat, Samriddh Bharat” (i.e., Secure Coast, Prosperous India). The 25-day national movement covers nine States and two Union Territories and brings together 130 CISF personnel, including 65 women cyclists. The initiative is part of the commemoration of 150 years of Vande Mataram and aims to translate its spirit of national unity and collective responsibility into contemporary action through coastal awareness and public engagement.

Researchers at IIT Madras developed a tool to objectively measure how well surgeons performed laparoscopic or keyhole procedures, a breakthrough that could standardise how surgical skills are taught and tested. The research team took to drawing on computer science principles. They applied a concept from human-Computer interaction that predicts movement time based on a target’s distance and size to design a custom VR haptic simulator. This system replicates laparoscopic conditions, including inverted visuals and quantifies performance metrics such as movement time and throughput during standardised tapping tasks. The model was tested on 24 young surgeons and found that it’s feasible.

The Department of Electronics, IT and BT, Government of Karnataka, continues to advance the state’s position as a global hub for innovation, deep tech, and Global Capability Centres (GCCs). In 2025, Karnataka’s tech ecosystem raised 3.8 billion US dollar, driven by strong early-stage funding, with FinTech emerging as a key sector.

According to the FICCI–ANAROCK report, Bengaluru led GCC office leasing in 2025, accounting for over one-third of India’s total and recording more than 12 million sq. ft. of leasing. The city now has around 215 million sq. ft. of Grade A office stock, with robust demand from global enterprises.

In Bengaluru, the state government has sanctioned 25 crore rupees to set up 2,500 Akka Cafes, to be operated by women from Self-Help Groups (SHGs), aimed at strengthening the coffee value chain and promoting women’s economic empowerment, said Industries Minister M. B. Patil. Speaking at the India International Coffee Festival organised by the Specialty Coffee Association of India at Palace Grounds, he noted that the Coffee Board of India, in partnership with the National Rural Livelihood Mission–Karnataka, is training one lakh SHG women in coffee brewing, café management and entrepreneurship.

Karnataka, the country’s largest coffee producer, cultivates coffee across 2.2 lakh hectares, contributing nearly 75 per cent of India’s output, mainly from Hassan, Kodagu and Chikkamagaluru. The festival brought together stakeholders from across the coffee ecosystem.

The Telangana State Cyber Security Bureau, led by Director Shikha Goel, has issued a critical warning regarding escalating digital scams. Fraudsters are deploying sophisticated tactics such as creating fake dating profiles to build trust before soliciting funds, and sending malicious links disguised as flower delivery services, gift offers, or event discounts. These links often redirect victims to fraudulent payment sites or prompt the installation of spyware, leading to significant financial loss and the theft of personal data.

To stay safe, experts advise immediate cessation of any suspicious transactions and absolute confidentiality regarding OTPs, PINs, or bank details. If you suspect a scam, you should promptly document the interaction via screenshots, notify your financial institution, and update all essential passwords. Maintaining high vigilance against unsolicited offers is vital to preventing identity theft and the unauthorized exploitation of social media or banking accounts.

दिल्ली की मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता ने कल फतेहपुर बेरी में 51 नए आयुष्मान आरोग्य मंदिर का शुभारंभ किया। इस अवसर पर श्रीमती गुप्ता ने कहा कि मात्र एक वर्ष में दिल्ली में 370 आयुष्मान आरोग्य मंदिरों की शुरुआत की गयी है। उन्होंने बताया कि इन आरोग्‍य मंदिरों के माध्‍यम से दिल्लीवासियों को अपने-अपने क्षेत्र में जांच, उपचार और आवश्यक दवाइयों की सुविधा मिल रही है।

श्रीमती गुप्ता ने कहा कि सरकार द्वारा 11 सौ से अधिक आयुष्मान आरोग्य मंदिर स्थापित करने का लक्ष्य जल्‍द ही पूरा कर लिया जाएगा।

दिल्ली आकाशवाणी द्वारा युवाओं को प्रसारण क्षेत्र से जोड़ने के लिए कार्यक्रम “युववाणी” के लिए आवेदन आमंत्रित किए गए हैं। इच्छुक अभ्यर्थी इस महीने की 28 तारीख तक आवेदन कर सकते हैं। आवेदन फॉर्म प्रसारण भवन, कमरा संख्या 37 से प्राप्त किए जा सकते हैं।

इस कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य युवाओं को आकाशवाणी के मंच पर अपनी प्रस्तुति देने तथा रचनात्मक अभिव्यक्ति का अवसर प्रदान करना है। आवेदन करने वाले अभ्‍यार्थियों का 12वीं कक्षा उत्तीर्ण होना अनिवार्य है। इस कार्यक्रम के लिए आयु सीमा 18 से 30 वर्ष निर्धारित की गई है।

उम्मीदवारों का चयन स्वर-परीक्षा (ऑडिशन) के माध्यम से किया जाएगा। इसके जरिए इच्छुक और योग्य युवा निर्धारित तिथियों के भीतर आवेदन कर इस अवसर का लाभ उठा सकते हैं।

दिल्ली यातायात पुलिस ने एक परामर्श जारी किया है। परामर्श में आज जवाहरलाल नेहरू स्टेडियम में होने वाले लाइव संगीत कार्यक्रम के कारण बी.पी. मार्ग और लोधी रोड पर भारी वाहनों का आवागमन प्रतिबंधित रहेगा। यह संगीत कार्यक्रम शाम चार बजे से लेकर रात 10 बजे तक चलेगा। यातायात पुलिस ने नागरिकों को कार्यक्रम के दौरान बी.पी. मार्ग, लोधी रोड और जेएलएन स्टेडियम के आसपास की सड़कों पर जाने से बचने की सलाह दी है। इसके अलावा जाम से बचने के लिए पुलिस ने नागरिकों से निकटतम मेट्रो स्‍टेशन का उपयोग करने का आग्रह किया है।

महान फिल्म निर्माता और प्रतिष्ठित टीवी सीरियल ‘रामायण’ के दूरदर्शी निर्माता रामानंद सागर के पुत्र आनंद रामानंद सागर चोपड़ा का का कल मुंबई में निधन हो गया। परिवार के सदस्यों के अनुसार, उनका अंतिम संस्कार मुंबई में किया गया। सागर परिवार के सदस्य आनंद सागर ने ‘रामायण’ और ‘श्रीकृष्ण’ जैसी पौराणिक सीरियलों में अपना योगदान दिया और भारतीय टेलीविजन में अपने पिता रामानंद सागर के उस अग्रणी कार्य को आगे बढ़ाया, जिसने 1980 के दशक में दर्शकों की संख्या में क्रांतिकारी बदलाव लाया।

महाराष्ट्र मंत्रिमंडल ने अटल सेतु प्रभावित क्षेत्र में प्रस्तावित तीसरे मुंबई के लिए एक व्यापक भूमि अधिग्रहण और आवंटन नीति को मंजूरी दी है, जिसे नवनगर विकास प्राधिकरण और मुंबई महानगर क्षेत्र विकास प्राधिकरण द्वारा कार्यान्वित किया जाएगा।

निर्वाचन आयोग ने पश्चिम बंगाल के सभी जिला चुनाव अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए है कि वे मतदाता सूची की विशेष गहन पुनरीक्षण प्रक्रिया से जुड़े उन दस्‍तावेज को अपलोड करें जो आयोग और सर्वोच्‍च न्‍यायालय द्वारा अनिवार्य किए गए हैं। आयोग ने स्‍पष्‍ट किया है कि जिला चुनाव अधिकारी सुनवाई के दौरान लोगों द्वारा सौंपे गए दस्‍तावेज की 16 फरवरी शाम पांच बजे तक व्‍यक्तिगत रूप से समीक्षा करेंगे और अनधिकृत दस्‍तावेज़ अपलोड पाए जाने की जिम्‍मेदारी जिला चुनाव अधिकारियों की होगी।  मुख्‍य निर्वाचन आयुक्‍त ने कल पश्चिम बंगाल के जिला चुनाव अधिकारियों के साथ ऑनलाइन बैठक में विशेष गहन पुनरीक्षण प्रक्रिया की समीक्षा की।

1974 anniversary tributes  to the very famous PG WODEHOUSE English-born comic novelist, short-story writer, lyricist, and playwright, best known as the creator of Jeeves, the supreme “gentleman’s gentleman.” He wrote more than 90 books and more than 20 film scripts and collaborated on more than 30 plays and musical comedies.

The beauty who graced our cinema with her charm and acting capabilities Mumtaz jahan dehlavi alias MadhuBala was born on 14 feb 1933 and also passed away in the month of February at the age of 36.

हज नौ साल की उम्र में उन्होंने फिल्मों में काम करना शुरू कर दिया, ताकि घर का खर्च चल सके. उस दौर में किसी बच्ची के लिए कैमरे का सामना करना आसान नहीं था, लेकिन मधुबाला ने हालातों से लड़ने के लिए यह किया। 1942 में आई फिल्म ‘बसंत’ से उनके करियर को दिशा मिली। इसी फिल्म के बाद उनका नाम मुमताज से बदलकर मधुबाला रखा गया।

 

950 का दशक मधुबाला के करियर का सुनहरा दौर माना जाता है. ‘महल’, ‘तराना’, ‘हावड़ा ब्रिज’, ‘चलती का नाम गाड़ी’,’ और ‘हाफ टिकट’ जैसी फिल्मों ने उन्हें स्टार बना दिया.

 

मांटिक हो या कॉमेडी, वह अपने हर एक किरदार को खूबसूरती के साथ निभाती थी. उस दौर में अभिनेत्रियों को सीमित भूमिकाएं मिलती थीं, लेकिन मधुबाला ने अपनी शर्तों पर काम किया और अपनी फीस भी खुद तय की. मधुबाला की कामयाबी की सबसे बड़ी पहचान फिल्म ‘मुगल-ए-आजम’ बनी.

 

 फिल्म हिंदी सिनेमा की ऐतिहासिक फिल्मों में गिनी जाती है. इस फिल्म की शूटिंग के दौरान वह गंभीर दिल की बीमारी से जूझ रही थीं, इसके बावजूद उन्होंने शूट पूरे किए. कई बार सेट पर उनकी तबीयत बिगड़ जाती थी, लेकिन उन्होंने कभी अपने काम को बीच में नहीं छोड़ा।

कामयाबी के शिखर पर पहुंचने के बावजूद मधुबाला की जिंदगी आसान नहीं थी. बीमारी ने धीरे-धीरे उनके करियर को सीमित कर दिया, लेकिन उन्होंने कभी अपनी कमजोरी को आड़े नहीं आने दिया. 23 फरवरी 1969 को महज 36 साल की उम्र में उनका निधन हो गया. आज भी मधुबाला को हिंदी सिनेमा की उन अभिनेत्रियों में गिना जाता है, जिन्होंने हालातों से लड़कर अपनी पहचान बनाई.

विद्यानिवास मिश्र (अंग्रेज़ी: Vidhyaniwas Mishra; जन्म- 28 जनवरी, 1926, गोरखपुर, उत्तर प्रदेश; मृत्यु- 14 फ़रवरी, 2005) हिन्दी के प्रसिद्ध साहित्यकार, सफल सम्पादक, संस्कृत के प्रकाण्ड विद्वान और जाने-माने भाषाविद थे। हिन्दी साहित्य को अपने ललित निबंधों और लोक जीवन की सुगंध से सुवासित करने वाले विद्यानिवास मिश्र ऐसे साहित्यकार थे, जिन्होंने आधुनिक विचारों को पारंपरिक सोच में खपाया था। साहित्य समीक्षकों के अनुसार संस्कृत मर्मज्ञ मिश्र जी ने हिन्दी में सदैव आँचलिक बोलियों के शब्दों को महत्त्व दिया। विद्यानिवास मिश्र के अनुसार- “हिन्दी में यदि आँचलिक बोलियों के शब्दों को प्रोत्साहन दिया जाये तो दुरूह राजभाषा से बचा जा सकता है, जो बेहद संस्कृतनिष्ठ है।” मिश्र जी के अभूतपूर्व योगदान के लिए ही भारत सरकार ने उन्हें ‘पद्मश्री’ और ‘पद्मभूषण’ से भी सम्मानित किया था।

कमला प्रसाद (अंग्रेज़ी: Kamla Prasad, जन्म: 14 फ़रवरी, 1938; मृत्यु: 25 मार्च, 2011) हिन्दी प्रमुख लेखक एवं आलोचक थे। प्रगतिशील लेखक संघ के पूर्व राष्ट्रीय महासचिव और वसुधा पत्रिका के संपादक कमला प्रसाद ने एक ऐसे समय में जब सामाजिक-आर्थिक-राजनीतिक स्तर पर हो रहे अन्याय के ख़िलाफ़ लेखकीय प्रतिरोध की अत्यंत और प्रखर ज़रूरत थी, उन्होंने पूरे देश में घूम-घूम कर लेखकों को चेताया, सजग और सचेत किया। प्रगतिशील लेखक संघ के राष्ट्रीय महासचिव रहे कमला प्रसाद ने ऐसे समय पूरे देश के प्रगतिशील और जनपक्षधरता वाले रचनाकारों को उस वक्त देश में इकट्ठा करने का बीड़ा उठाया जब प्रतिक्रियावादी, अवसरवादी और दक्षिणपंथी ताकतें सत्ता, यश और पुरस्कारों का चारा डालकर लेखकों को बरगलाने का काम कर रहीं थीं। कमला प्रसाद के इस काम को देश की विभिन्न भाषाओं और विभिन्न संगठनों के तरक्की पसंद रचनाकारों का मुक्त सहयोग मिला और एक संगठन के तौर पर प्रगतिशील लेखक संघ देश में लेखकों का सबसे बड़ा संगठन बना।
