कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण मंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने कहा कि देश में कुल खाद्यान्न उत्पादन में आठ प्रतिशत की रिकॉर्ड वृद्धि हुई है। श्री चौहान ने कल नई दिल्ली में 2024-25 के फसल उत्पादन के अंतिम अनुमान जारी करने के बाद यह बात कही। श्री चौहान ने कहा कि पिछले 10 वर्षों में देश के कुल खाद्यान्न उत्पादन में 106 मिलियन टन से अधिक की वृद्धि हुई। उन्होंने कहा कि देश में धान उत्पादन पिछले वर्ष के एक हजार तीन सौ 78 लाख टन से बढ़कर एक हजार पांच सौ एक लाख टन के रिकॉर्ड स्तर पर पहुँच गया है। गेहूँ के उत्पादन में भी पिछले वर्ष के 132 लाख टन से 46 दशमलव 53 लाख टन की रिकॉर्ड वृद्धि हुई है। श्री चौहान ने कहा कि अरहर, उड़द, चना और मूंग दाल की खरीद में न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य का आश्वासन देश भर के किसानों को लाभान्वित कर रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार कृषि और किसानों को सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता देते हुए अपने प्रयास जारी रखेगी।

India and Israel have signed the Terms of Reference (ToR) to initiate negotiations for a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) in Tel Aviv, marking a major step toward deepening bilateral economic cooperation. The Terms of Reference was signed by Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal and Israel’s Economy and Industry Minister Nir Barkat. Speaking on the occasion, Piyush Goyal said that both countries had agreed to begin work on a comprehensive FTA, a move aimed at reshaping bilateral trade and investment. He said that this is the first crucial step towards facilitating talks to conclude a balanced, comprehensive, and mutually beneficial FTA to strengthen and enhance trade, economic, and strategic partnership.

A group of women auto drivers in Chennai has launched an association called the Association for the Welfare of Brave Women. It now has 400 members who are working together to demand safer working conditions, better access to toilets, protection from harassment by male drivers, and more respect on the roads.
The association plans to expand its work to Coimbatore soon. According to Mohanasundari, the President of the group said, the members can receive several benefits. These include legal help, support from the RTO, help in getting government-issued pink autos for women drivers, accident compensation of up to rupees 10 lakh, low-interest loans up to rupees 50,000, and medical insurance of rupees 6 lakh. Members can also get up to rupees 5,000 as household allowance. The monthly membership fee for the association is rupees 222.

गिरफ्तार किए गए आरोपियों में जम्मू-कश्मीर के डॉ० मुजम्मिल शकील गनई, डॉ० अदील अहमद राथैर और मुफ्ति इरफान अहमद वागे तथा उत्तर प्रदेश के डॉ० शाहीन सईद शामिल हैं। एजेंसी ने बताया कि इन गिरफ्तारियों के साथ इस मामले में गिरफ्तार किए गए आरोपियों की संख्या बढ़कर छह हो गई है। एजेंसी का कहना है कि मामले में पूरी आतंकी साजिश का पर्दाफाश करने के प्रयासों के तहत पहले गिरफ्तार किए गए आरोपी की पूछताछ जारी है। आतंकवाद निरोधी एजेंसी को हमले के तुरंत बाद गृह मंत्रालय द्वारा जांच की जिम्मेदारी सौंपी गई थी। एजेंसी नरसंहार में शामिल आतंकवादी मॉड्यूल के प्रत्येक सदस्य का पता लगाने और उसे गिरफ्तार करने के लिए विभिन्न राज्य पुलिस बलों के साथ मिलकर काम कर रही है।

Minister for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and Education, Jayant Chaudhary has inaugurated the Centre of Logistics Training for Excellence (COLTE) at the National Skill Training Institute (NSTI) Hyderabad last evening. Addressing the gathering, Jayant Chaudhary said, the initiative marked a significant leap toward technology-driven skilling in India’s logistics sector. He said the country’s logistics sector is entering a high-growth decade, powered by the National Logistics Policy, PM Gati Shakti and unprecedented investments in multimodal infrastructure.
The centre has been established by the Logistics Sector Skill Council (LSC) in partnership with Redington Foundation. The centre builds on the successful model of the Chennai Centre of Logistics Training for Excellence, set up last year. The Chennai centre achieved high-impact outcomes through learning modules, industry-grade simulators, and strong academic-industry partnerships.

21 नवम्बर 1941 को यदुनाथ सिंह को मनचाहा काम मिल गया। उस समय वह मात्र 26 वर्ष के थे और उन्होंने फौज में प्रवेश किया। उन्हें राजपूत रेजिमेंट में लिया गया। वहीं उनको जुलाई 1947 में लान्स नायक के रूप में तरक्की मिली और इस तरह 6 जनवरी 1948 को वह अपनी टुकड़ी की अगुवाई कर रहे थे और इस जोश में थे कि वह नौशेरा तक दुश्मन को नहीं पहुँचने देंगे। उस दिन नायक यदुनाथ सिंह मोर्चे पर केवल 9 लोगों की टुकड़ी के साथ डटे हुए थे कि दुश्मन ने धावा बोल दिया। यदुनाथ अपनी टुकड़ी के लीडर थे। उन्होंने अपनी टुकड़ी की जमावट ऐसी तैयार की, कि हमलावरों को हार कर पीछे हटना पड़ा।
इन्हें मरणोपरांत 1948 में परम वीर चक्र से सम्मानित किया गया। इनका सेवा काल 1941 से 1948 तक रहा।
