लेकिन उससे पहले हम श्रोताओं को जानकारी दे दें कि आज (World Hindi Day) यानि की विश्व हिन्दी दिवस है जो प्रत्येक वर्ष 10 जनवरी को विश्वभर में मनाया जाता है। इसका उद्देश्य विश्व में हिन्दी के प्रचार-प्रसार के लिये जागरूकता फैलाना और हिन्दी को अन्तराष्ट्रीय भाषा के रूप में पेश करना है। 10 जनवरी, 2006 को प्रति वर्ष ‘विश्व हिन्दी दिवस’ के रूप मनाये जाने की घोषणा की गई थी। वैसे, विश्व हिन्दी दिवस के अतिरिक्त 14 सितंबर को हमारे देश में राष्ट्रीय हिन्दी दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है। 14 सितंबर 1949 को संविधान सभा ने हिंदी को राजभाषा का दर्जा दिया था तभी से 14 सितंबर को हिंदी दिवस मनाया जाता है। वैसे हिंदी दिवस पर मन से ये ही उदगार निकलते हैं कि…..

Home Minister Amit Shah has announced that a collective nationwide campaign against drugs will be launched from 31st March this year. The campaign, which will run for three years, aims to make the country drug-free. Mr Shah made the announcement while chairing the 9th Apex-Level Meeting of the Narco-Coordination Centre (NCORD) in New Delhi yesterday. He said, in the fight against drugs, all departments of the Central Government should prepare a roadmap up to 2029 and establish a time-bound review mechanism for its implementation.

रेल मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने कहा है कि भारतीय रेल वैश्विक मानदंड स्थापित करने की स्थिति में है और 2047 तक भारत को विकसित राष्ट्र बनाने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका के लिए तैयार है। कल नई दिल्ली में 70वें अति विशिष्ट रेल सेवा पुरस्कार समारोह में उन्होंने 100 रेलवे अधिकारियों और सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रदर्शन करने वाले रेलवे जोन को पुरस्कृत किया। श्री वैष्णव ने कहा कि भारतीय रेलवे ने 2026 के लिए छह नए संकल्प लिए हैं। इनमें एक वर्ष के भीतर व्यवस्थागत सुधार, उत्पादकता में सुधार के लिए तकनीक और यांत्रिक मेधा का उपयोग, रखरखाव मानकों को स्तरोन्नयन, सुरक्षा की मजबूती और औपनिवेशिक मानसिकता को छोड़ना शामिल हैं। पुरस्कार विजेता जम्मू डिवीजन के वरिष्ठ मंडल वाणिज्य प्रबंधक उचित सिंघल ने आकाशवाणी समाचार से कहा कि वंदे भारत रेलगाड़ी की शुरुआत के बाद से जम्मू-कश्मीर में पर्यटन को लाभ हुआ है। एक अन्य पुरस्कार विजेता, सीनियर असिस्टेंट लोको पायलट सुष्मिता ने कहा कि पुरस्कार से कर्मचारियों को भविष्य की चुनौतियों का प्रभावी ढंग से सामना करने में मदद मिलती है।

India is expected to grow by 7.2 percent in the current financial year, driven by consumption and public investment, the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA) said in a report. The World Economic Situation and Prospects 2026 report also predicts that India will grow at 6.6 percent in the 2026-27 financial year and 6.8 percent in the 2027-28 financial year. According to UN’s report, several large developing economies, including India, and Indonesia, are expected to continue experiencing solid growth driven by resilient domestic demand or targeted policy measures.

Sikkim is planning to introduce ice hockey as a winter sport. Preparations are underway to establish a natural ice rink in Gnathang Valley in East Sikkim. The facility is expected to become operational by next winter. Our correspondent has the details:

“District Collector and Sikkim Mountaineering Association (SMA) in coordination with the Department of Sports, Government of Sikkim Ice Hockey Association of India aims to develop Gnathang into a winter sports hub, combining youth sports development with winter tourism and positioning Sikkim alongside regions like Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh. In the last week of November 2025, an IHAI team visited the high-altitude region of Gnathang Valley for a recce. The IHAI officials said Gnathang is very feasible with good transport, land, and accommodation. experts had termed the site “very good. Southern Railways has announced the operation of additional trains to clear the rush during Pongal season. Special services will be operated between Tirunelveli. Tambaram, Chengalpet, Chennai Central, Podanur and Tuticorin on select dates this month. The train services will be available from 13th to 20th of this month.

दिल्ली के लोक निर्माण विभाग द्वारा 4 मॉडल धूल मुक्त सड़क कॉरिडोर विकसित किए जा रहे हैं। इस कॉरिडोर के तहत सड़कें पूरी तरह पक्की होंगी, साथ ही, बेहतर फुटपाथ व्यवस्था और हरियाली तथा ग्रीन बेल्ट तैयार किया जाएगा। दिल्ली सरकार के इस कदम से धूल प्रदूषण प्रभावी रूप से नियंत्रित होगा। लोक निर्माण विभाग के अनुसार इन सड़कों की सफलता के बाद दिल्ली की सभी प्रमुख सड़कों को चरणबद्ध तरीके से धुल मुक्त बनाया जाएगा। विभाग ने बताया कि यह कार्य स्वच्छ हवा, बेहतर सड़कें और सुरक्षित दिल्ली की दिशा में एक अहम कदम है।

Former Karnataka Chief Minister and Haveri MP Basavaraj Bommai has rejected Congress allegations against the VB G RAM G scheme. Speaking to media persons in Bengaluru, he said the new scheme replaces MGNREGA and offers 125 days of guaranteed work instead of 100, making it more beneficial for workers. Bommai said Gram Panchayats now have greater powers to identify households, prepare and implement development plans, and directly pay wages. He added that the scheme reduces corruption through Aadhaar linking and digitisation, unlike the earlier system where funds were often misused. He claimed Congress is opposing the scheme because it leaves little scope for corruption.

At Secunderabad, ground teams including TTEs and RPF personnel have been deployed, with extra staff at entry and exit points. A war room has been set up at the divisional headquarters.
Passengers are encouraged to use the Rail One mobile app for tickets. Parking at Secunderabad has been temporarily suspended due to redevelopment works. Passengers are advised to use the additional stoppages of trains and arrive at stations early during peak hours.

कोलकाता के रवींद्र सदन-नंदन परिसर में कल पांच दिवसीय साहित्य महोत्सव और लघु पत्रिका मेले का शुभारंभ हुआ। प्रख्यात उपन्यासकार शिर्शेंदु मुखोपाध्याय ने एकतारा मुक्त मंच पर इस कार्यक्रम का उद्घाटन किया। मेले में राज्य भर से 500 पत्रिकाओं का प्रदर्शन किया गया, जिसमें लगभग एक हजार कवियों और लेखकों ने साहित्यिक चर्चाओं में भाग लिया। उद्घाटन समारोह में 27 साहित्यकारों को सम्मानित किया गया। वंदे मातरम के 150 वर्ष पूरे होने के उपलक्ष्य में ‘वंदे मातरम फिरे देखा’ नामक एक विशेष पुस्तक का विमोचन भी किया गया।

सम्पूर्णानंद (अंग्रेज़ी: Sampurnanand, जन्म: 1 जनवरी, 1889, वाराणसी; मृत्यु: 10 जनवरी, 1969) सबसे पहले हम याद कर रहे हैं, प्रसिद्ध स्वतंत्रता सेनानी और राजनेता सम्पूर्णानंद को, आज उनकी पुण्यतिथि है। डॉ. सम्पूर्णानंद कुशल और निर्भीक राजनेता के साथ प्रतिभावान साहित्यकार और अध्यापक भी थे। इतिहास, पुराण, दर्शन, राजनीति, समाजशास्त्र आदि में उनकी गहरी पैठ थी। आध्यात्मिक विषयों में भी उनकी बड़ी रुचि थी। वे समाजवादी विचारों के व्यक्ति थे। सम्पूर्णानन्द संस्कृत विश्वविद्यालय की स्थापना में उनहोंने विशेष योगदान दिया। उनके द्वारा लिखी गईं मुख्य रचनाओं में शामिल हैं -अंतर्राष्ट्रीय विधान, समाजवाद, हिंदू देव परिवार का विकास, आर्यों का आदि देश, जीवन और दर्शन आदि! इसके अलावा उन्होंने ‘मर्यादा’ नाम की हिंदी पत्रिका और ‘टुडे’ नामक अंग्रेज़ी दैनिक का संपादन भी किया।

गिरिजाकुमार माथुर (अंग्रेज़ी: Girija Kumar Mathur, जन्म: 22 अगस्त, 1919; मृत्यु: 10 जनवरी, 1994) आज ही के दिन कवि, नाटककार और समालोचक के रूप में प्रसिद्ध गिरिजाकुमार माथुर ने भी इस दुनिया को अलविदा कहा था। लम्बे अरसे तक इन्होंने आकाशवाणी की सेवा की। इनकी कविता में रंग, रूप, रस, भाव तथा शिल्प के नए-नए प्रयोग हैं। मुख्य काव्य संग्रह हैं, ‘नाश और निर्माण’, ‘मंजीर’, ‘धूप के धान’, ‘शिलापंख चमकीले, ‘जो बंध नहीं सका’, ‘साक्षी रहे वर्तमान’, ‘भीतर नदी की यात्रा’, ‘मैं वक्त के हूँ सामने’ तथा ‘छाया मत छूना मन’ आदि। इन्होंने कहानी, नाटक तथा आलोचनाएं भी लिखी हैं। गिरिजाकुमार माथुर की ‘मैं वक़्त के हूँ सामने’ नामक काव्य संग्रह साहित्य अकादमी पुरस्कार से सम्मानित है। भारतीय सांस्कृतिक सम्बन्ध परिषद की साहित्यिक पत्रिका ‘गगनांचल’ का संपादन करने के अलावा इन्होंने कहानी, नाटक तथा आलोचनाएँ भी लिखी हैं।

Sir Roderick David Stewart (born 10 January 1945) is a British singer and songwriter. Known for his distinctive raspy singing voice, Stewart is among the best-selling music artists of all time, having sold more than 120 million records worldwide. His music career began in 1962 when he took up busking with a harmonica. In 1963, he joined the Dimensions as a harmonica player and vocalist. सलीम गौस (अंग्रेज़ी: Salim Ghouse, जन्म- 10 जनवरी, 1952; मृत्यु- 28 अप्रॅल, 2022) आज जयंती है प्रसिद्ध फिल्म और रंगमंच अभिनेता सलीम गौस की। चेन्नई में जन्मे और वहीं शिक्षित हुए सलीम गौस ने बाद में एफटीआईआई, पुणे से स्नातक किया और फिर सिनेमाघरों में उतर गए। वह एक मार्शल आर्ट विशेषज्ञ भी थे। सलीम की अदाकारी का लोहा सारा बॉलीवुड मानता था। दक्षिण भारत में भी उन्होंने समान लोकप्रियता हासिल की। उन्होंने साल 1978 में फिल्म ‘स्वर्ग नर्क’ के साथ अपने अभिनय की शुरुआत की थी। इसके बाद कुछ सबसे बड़े सितारों और बैनरों के साथ भी कई फिल्मों में नजर आए। धारावाहिक ‘भारत एक खोज’ और ‘सरदारी बेगम‘ और ‘सोल्जर’ जैसी कई फिल्मों में अभिनय से उन्होंने अपनी एक विशेष पहचान बनाई थी। दूरदर्शन पर आने वाला धारावाहिक ‘भारत एक खोज’ इनमें सबसे अहम था। इस शो से उन्हें घर-घर में पहचान मिली थी। आइए सुनते हैं इस धारावाहिक का टाइटल सॉन्ग, जो दर्शकों को गहराई से प्रभावित करता है।

Kattassery Joseph Yesudas (born 10 January 1940) is an Indian playback singer and musician who sings Indian classical, devotional and film songs. He is widely considered one of the greatest singers in the history of Indian music and a cultural icon of Kerala. In a career spanning six decades, Yesudas is estimated to have recorded more than 50,000 songs in various Indian languages, including Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Tulu, Hindi, Odia, Bengali, Marathi as well as in Arabic, English, Latin, and Russian. He is referred to by the epithet Gaanagandharvan (transl. The Celestial Singer) in reverence for his sweet, ethereal voice. Yesudas holds the world record for singing and recording 16 new songs in different languages in a single day. He has also composed a number of Malayalam film songs during the 1970s and 1980s.
Yesudas won the National Award for the Best Male Playback Singer a record eight times, the Filmfare Awards South five times, and the State Award for the Best Playback Singer 36 times, including awards given by the state governments of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and West Bengal. He was awarded the Padma Shri in 1975,

बासु चटर्जी (अंग्रेज़ी: Basu Chatterjee, जन्म- 10 जनवरी, 1927; मृत्यु- 6 जून, 2020) हिंदी और बंगाली सिनेमा के जाने-माने पटकथा लेखक और निर्देशक बासु चटर्जी की जयंती आज ही है। उन्होंने अपने फिल्मी कॅरियर की शुरुआत बासु भट्टाचार्य का सहायक बनकर की। बासु भट्टाचार्य और ऋषिकेश मुखर्जी की फिल्मों की तरह बासु चटर्जी की फिल्में भी हल्के मूड वाली मध्यम वर्गीय परिवार की कहानियां होती थीं। आज भले ही बासु चटर्जी नहीं रहे, लेकिन वे छोड़ गए हैं ढेर सारी सदाबहार फिल्में जो आज भी ताज़ा हैं और लोगों का मनोरंजन कर रही हैं जिनमें शामिल हैं -‘पिया का घर’, ‘चितचोर’, ‘स्वामी’, ‘खट्टा मीठा’, ‘प्रियतमा’, ‘चक्रव्यूह’, ‘बातों बातों में’ और ‘सफेद झूठ’ आदि। ….तो आइए सुनते हैं फिल्म पिया का घर का ये गीत….जिसे गाया है जया भादुरी और अनिल धवन पर फिल्माया गया, और आवाज दी है किशोर कुमार ने
