Border Security Force (BSF) has seized 272 Drones coming from Pakistan inside Punjab border to drop arms, ammunition and narcotics and has recovered over 367 kilogram of Heroin in this year from January till date.
Addressing its annual Press Conference at JCP Attari in Amritsar on the eve of the 61st Raising Day of the BSF, being observed on 1st December 2025 , Inspector General, Punjab Frontier, Dr Atul Fulzule said that the various other drugs like ICE and opium have also been seized.
The troops have also confiscated over 10 kilogram of RDX besides 12 hand grenades and 200 arms.
The troops have Neutralized 3 Pakistani Intruders and have apprehended 18 Pak, 4 Nepalis and 3 Bangladeshi nationals while guarding 553 kilometer long Punjab border with Pakistan. The force has also apprehended 251 Indian suspects including 133 smugglers with arms, ammunition and narcotics.
Besides these achievements, the BSF has coordinated with states Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh for maintaining law and order during elections and otherwise.
