The Border Security Force organized a high-level workshop on Evolving Role of Drones in Contemporary Warfare, Border Management and National Security at Amritsar today. The event brought together senior officials from the Indian Army, CAPFs, State Police and Central agencies to discuss emerging drone threats and countermeasures.

 

The security agencies led by the Indian Army discussed future battlefield and border security, the emergence of drones and their weaponization, cross-border criminal activities and the need for early warning systems. The workshop reinforced a proactive and unified approach to enhance operational preparedness in the face of rapidly evolving technological threats and inter-agency coordination to strengthen national security preparedness.
