In Tennis, India’s Rohan Bopanna and his Australian companion Matthew Ebden have advanced to the Men’s doubles quarter-finals of the Queen’s Club Championships, in London last night. The top-seeded Indo-Australian duo triumphed over the Austrian pair of Alexander Erler and Lucas Miedler, in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4 in the pre-quarterfinal.
Bopanna and Ebden have previously reached the semi-finals of the prestigious French Open tournament, where they faced a defeat against the Italian pair of Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori, 5-7, 2-6, 6-2.
