BJP National Spokesperson R.P. Singh today wrote to External Affairs Minister Dr S. Jaishankar, requesting his urgent intervention for stranded Sikh Families at Gurdwara Saab in Tehran. In his letter, Mr Singh said that these families are facing extreme distress and uncertainty due to the volatile security situation in the region. The Spokesperson requested the External Affairs Ministry to facilitate the return of these elderly people from Tehran.
