The BJP today criticised the West Bengal Government for inaction in the factory fire case in Kolkata, in which over 27 people lost their lives. Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, BJP Spokesperson Guru Prakash Paswan alleged that the incident was a man-made disaster. 

Mr Paswan also accused West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of siding with the CEO of the company’s factory. He further alleged that the West Bengal government remained silent despite horrific incidents of fires that broke out in 5 factories in the state this month, killing many people.
