BJP today said that two dynastic parties, Shiv Sena (UBT) and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, have come together in an alliance out of fear of defeat in the Mumbai BMC polls. Talking to the media in New Delhi, party spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari said that these dynastic parties have come together to save their political stakes and are worried that people of Mumbai are moving towards choosing the NDA’s development agenda.
He asserted that the people of Mumbai and Maharashtra stand firmly and will choose the NDA. The party slammed the Mamta Banerjee-led TMC government in West Bengal over choosing the interests of extremists over the democratic rights of Bengali Hindus.
Mr Bhandari alleged that amid the protests in Kolkata over the lynching of an Indian national in Bangladesh, the Mamata Banerjee government ordered a lathi charge simply after seeing the saffron flags.
