BJP releases second list of 111 candidates for upcoming West Bengal assembly polls

 

BJP today released the second list of 111 candidates for the upcoming West Bengal assembly polls. Former Union Minister Nisith Pramanik will contest from the Mathabhanga assembly seat. Former Rajya Sabha MP Roopa Ganguly has been fielded from Sonarpur Dakshin.

 

Former hockey player Bharat Chhetri for the Kalimpong Assembly seat, meanwhile, the party has fielded Noman Rai as its candidate from Darjeeling. 294 Member West Bengal Assembly will go to polls in two phases on the 23rd and 29th of next month. Counting will take place on 4th May.
