In Nagaland, BJP State General Secretary Sunep C Jamir today highlighted the merits of Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin): Viksit Bharat – G RAM G Act, terming it a key pillar for the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision to build a more developed, equitable and prosperous country.

 

Addressing a press conference today, Mr Sunep said the earlier MGNREGA was scattered and lacked a clear focus. He said the new bill is more structured and will focus on four key areas, namely water security, rural infrastructure, livelihood support and climate resilience.
