BJP MP Dr Sudhanshu Trivedi and RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabole today released a book authored by former MP Tarun Vijay at New Delhi World Book Fair. Addressing the ceremony, Dr Sudhanshu Trivedi said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spoken of freeing the nation from the poison that Macaulay began to fill in the minds of people in 1835. He said the book focuses on the challenges which India is currently facing and the solutions to tackle these challenges.
In his address, Mr Hosbole said, India today is promoting the knowledge which it had since ancient times. He said the author has been inspired by the epic Mahabharata to write this book. Mr Hosabale further recalled the thoughts of Maharshi Aurobindo and spoke about three key ideas articulated by him. First, that a nation must collect and preserve its ancient knowledge, second, that this knowledge should be made relevant and useful for human life and finally, that people must continue to seek and create newer knowledge.
