BJP MP Shashank Mani said that the current situation regarding gas supply is part of a global challenge. Talking to Akashvani News, he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with the President of Iran yesterday regarding the matter. Mr Mani urged citizens not to engage in hoarding and to act responsibly so that unnecessary panic and long queues can be avoided.

Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Ramdas Athawale, said that the opposition is politicising the gas supply issue. He said that PM Modi and Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri have assured that there is no shortage of LPG and the country has adequate stock.
