BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj has criticized the West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for her remarks following the alleged sexual assault on a medical student in the State. Addressing media in New Delhi, Ms Swaraj said the Chief Minister should ensure women safety despite giving insensitive statement that women should not go out late night. The BJP MP also demanded the TMC government to ensure justice for the victim.
