BJP Holds Women’s March in Ranchi in Support of Nari Shakti Vandan Act
Addressing the gathering, Union Minister Annapurna Devi said that the opposition deprived women of their rights by opposing the bill in Parliament. Sanjay Seth also criticized the opposition, stating that despite prolonged discussions during the special session, the bill was not allowed to pass, while Babulal Marandi and Aditya Sahu said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been consistently working for women’s empowerment.
The march proceeded from Morabadi Ground to Albert Ekka Chowk, witnessing significant participation despite the scorching heat. BJP leaders said there is widespread anger among women across the country against opposition parties on the issue of women’s reservation and urged people to remain cautious of such parties.
