BJP claims, apart from few scattered incidents, today’s first phase of polling unprecedented

BJP has claimed that apart from a few scattered incidents, today’s first phase of polling was unprecedented. At a press conference in Kolkata, the party’s chief state spokesperson, Debjit Sarkar, stated that this election is very different from what the people of West Bengal saw earlier. A huge number of people voted spontaneously today.

In Berhampore, Congress candidate Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury has also expressed satisfaction regarding the voting process. Responding to a question, Shri Chowdhury said that he does not have any major complaints against the Election Commission.
