BJP today accused Congress of tampering with constitutional institutions. Briefing media in New Delhi, party’s spokesperson Sambit Patra said that yesterday, the Election Commission gave detailed information on Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in Bihar but the Congress continues to question the poll body. He added Commission has the right, as per the Supreme Court, to prepare the electoral roll for the purpose of elections.
Mr Patra also accused the party of protecting infiltrators in the country and aiming to expand their vote bank using infiltrators and appeasement politics. He also alleged that the opposition parties including Congress, RJD, TMC and AAP want to create complete chaos in the country.
