Bihar will host the Women’s Kabaddi World Cup 2025 from 1st June to 10th June this year at Rajgir. 14 teams will participate in the World Cup for Women.
This will be the second time that Bihar will host the World Cup of Kabaddi for women. An MoU was signed on Saturday between Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI) and Bihar State Sports Authority ( BSSA) at Patliputra Sports Complex at Patna.
On behalf of AKFI Secretary General Jitendra Pran Singh Thakur and BSSA Director General Ravindran Shankaran signed the MoU.
The DG of BSSA said all games will be played at the International Sports Complex, Rajgir and AKFI will provide technical support for the world cup.
Mr. Shankaran said several African and Latin American countries will also participate in the World Cup.
Apart from India, Iran, Bangladesh, Netherlands, Japan, Poland, Uganda, Kenya, Hungary, Thailand, Nepal, Germany and Argentina will play the Kabaddi World for Women.
