In view of the volatile situation in the neighbouring country, Nepal, security has been heightened along seven border districts in Bihar.

 

Talking to Akashvani News, Additional Director General of Police Headquarters, Kundan Krishnan, said that the state police and the SSB are maintaining strict vigil along the border. He informed that thorough verification of people is being carried out at border points. The ADG emphasised that the situation is normal along the border in Bihar. Mr. Krishnan further said that, in view of the prevailing situation, the Home Department has advised tourists to avoid visiting Nepal.
