In Bihar, the monsoon session of state assembly began today with chaotic note over the demand of resignation of Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Prasad Yadav by the opposition BJP. The BJP demanded resignation of Mr. Yadav for the chargesheet filed by CBI against him in the land for job case. Senior member & BJP Chief Whip Janak Singh raised the issue in the Lower House. Other opposition members including leader of opposition Vijay Kumar Sinha, former Deputy Chief Ministers Tar Kishore Prasad, Renu Devi supported the demanded.
The opposition members raised slogans against the Nitish Kumar led government. As the commotion prevailed the Speaker adjourned the House for the day. Earlier when the House assembled at 11 am for the day Speaker Awadh Bihari Chaudhary made opening remarks. He sought co-operation from all members including opposition and treasury benches to run the House smoothly in the monsoon session.
After that the finance minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary tabled the supplementary budget of 43,775 crore rupees for the current financial year
