The Bihar government has issued a notification regarding the constitution of a nine-member trust for the construction of a grand temple dedicated to Maa Janaki in Sitamarhi. The temple at Punauradham in Sitamarhi will be constructed along the lines of the Ayodhya Lord Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir. The temple trust will be known as Shree Janaki Janmabhoomi Punauradham Mandir Nyas Samiti.
