In Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has announced big relief for teachers seeking inter district transfers providing them three choices of districts of their preference. Mr. Kumar announced solution for long standing demands of teachers for inter state transfers and postings.

The Chief Minister said, based on their preference their postings will be finalized within those districts. Mr. Kumar announced the decision on social media this morning. He asked the Education Department to resolve the problem regarding transfer posting of lakhs of teachers. The Chief Minister stated that within districts District Education Officers will be able to do transfers of teachers.
