In Bihar, the first cabinet meeting of the newly formed Nitish Kumar government was held today. A total of six proposals were approved at the meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Following the meeting, Chief Secretary Pratyay Amrit announced that 25 new sugar mills will be opened in Bihar. He also added that a proposal to form a high-level committee headed by the Chief Secretary to revive closed sugar mills has also been approved in the meeting.
Furthermore, the cabinet meeting also approved the establishment of the Bihar State Artificial Intelligence Mission and the formation of a top committee to develop the state as a global workplace under the New Age Economy.
