Bihar Assembly Elections: Second Phase Campaigning Intensifies

Campaigning for the second phase of Bihar Assembly Election has picked up pace. Leaders of NDA and Mahagathbandan addressed rallies in support of their candidates. Senior BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed public meetings in Bhagalpur and Araria. He accused RJD for lawlessness and lack of development in Bihar during its tenure. Mr Modi alleged that RJD is a symbol of Jungle Raj and corruption.
 
Mr. Modi alleged that during RJD’s rule in Bihar from 1990 to 2005, Bihar faced lawlessness which completely ruined Bihar.
 
 
Senior BJP leader and Union minister Amit Shah addressed rallies in East Champaran and West Champaran, while Union Minister Rajnath Singh addressed three election rallies in East Champaran and Sitamarhi. 
 
 
Senior BJP leader and Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath also addressed rallies in West Champaran and Sitamarhi district. JD (U) President and Chief minister Nitish Kumar, Chief minister of Assam Hemant Biswa Sarma and Chief Minister of Delhi Rekha Gupta also addressed rallies in support of NDA candidates. 
 
 
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi addressed public meetings in Araria and Purnea in support of Mahagathbandhan candidates. Mr Gandhi alleged that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has lost control over the government as the BJP is running the government in Bihar via remote control.
 
 
Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi also addressed three public meetings in poll bound constituencies of Govindganj, Reega and Benipatti. The Chief Ministerial candidate of Mahagathbandhan Tejashwi Prasad Yadav addressed public meetings in Madhubani , Supaul , Kishanganj , Katihar and Purnia district. BSP Chief Mayawati addressed her first election rally for Bihar assembly elections in Bhabhua in support of party candidates.
