In Bihar, at least eight people were killed and five others injured this morning in a road accident under Daniyawan police station area in Patna district. Police said the accident occurred near Sigriyawa Station on the State Highway in Daniyawan, when an autorickshaw was hit by a truck, killing eight passengers on the spot. The five injured have been admitted to PMCH Hospital in Patna. All the deceased are reported to be residents of Hilsa police station area in Nalanda district. All the passengers were on their way to Triveni Ghat in Fatuha to take a holy dip in the Ganga river.
