The death toll from a collision between two trains in Bekasi, Indonesia, has risen to 14, with 84 people injured. Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto visited the victims at a hospital today and expressed his condolences.
The accident occurred overnight when a commuter train travelling between Jakarta and Bekasi collided with a long-distance train running on the Jakarta-Surabaya route. Authorities, including the rail operator and the National Transportation Safety Committee, have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the incident.
