The Uttar Pradesh government will aim to create a new world record today by lighting 26 lakh, 11 thousand, and 101 lamps. A total of 28 lakh lamps have been arranged at the 56 Ghats of Holy Saryu by the 33 thousand volunteers to make a new world record. This year, 2,100 Vedacharyas will also set another world record by performing a grand aarti from Laxman Kila Ghat to Naya Ghat. Apart from that, 1100 indigenous drones will display Ramayana scenes in the skies over Ayodhya, and a 3D holographic laser show will make this experience unique. State Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh said that this year’s event will be divine and grand and will set new records.
A special procession will also be held during the festival, showcasing tableaux based on the seven chapters of the Ramayana. Folk arts and dances from various states of the country will be a major attraction.
