Most Asian stock markets declined today. Japan’s Nikkei 225 slipped over 1.4 per cent, China’s Shanghai Composite Index dipped over 0.4 per cent, Singapore’s Straits Times as well as Hong Kong’s Hang Seng, both fell around 0.4 per cent. South Korea’s Kospi closed flat. Major European indices were trading mixed in intra-day trade. France’s CAC 40 as well as Germany’s DAX rose over 0.4 per cent each, while London’s FTSE 100 was nearly flat, when reports last came in.
