Major Asian indices closed on a mixed note today. China’s Shanghai Composite Index declined over 1.2 per cent, South Korea’s Kospi index fell 0.3 per cent and Japan’s Nikkei 225 index dipped over 0.2 per cent. On the other hand, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index gained over a half per cent and Singapore’s Straits Times Index added marginally.
Major European indices were trading up today. France CAC 40 advanced over 0.3 per cent, London’s FTSE 100 edged up more than 0.2 per cent, and Germany’s DAX was trading over 0.1 per cent higher, when reports last came in.
